The fastest and easiest way to make lots of squares is to do the production line method which I explain in this video! Start with making the amount you think you will need, the assembly layout will be explained in next week's video! The pattern will also be available as of next week! Anja x
Thanks Anja
Oh! I’m going to make some of theses daisy squares after I finish my blanket with the smaller daisy’s. I love that cream petal too! Thank you for such pretty artwork. I’ve never had any way to express myself until the art of crochet. Bridgets cardigan is beautiful too! Who knows, I may make that one next spring. Time is moving fast on this side of 2020. ~ Joan Pinner Johnson (Joanie)
Well, I do make scrapbooks too when I’m inspired. I did that to leave behind some snippets of my kids lives growing up. These cardigans & blankets will be for future generations ☺️
Good idea Joanie, Anja x
You two were so cute and I loved the cardigan, can't wait.

It’s beautiful! Do you have a pattern for XL, XXL?
I give instructions on how to make bigger sizes in the tutorial, Anja x
Where can I find the xxl
Lovely
I love this cardigan, Anja!! Is there a yarn bundle available on the website?
No, because I thought people would like to pick their own colours. You can use any type of DK yarn. Stylecraft special dk or Wendy Supreme DK. We stock of course all the colours. The assembly video will be out next week Wednesday. Have fun if you are thinking of making it. I am constantly wearing it.
I love the colors of both sweaters, but I really love the blue.
Do you have a formula for larger sizes?
There are instructions for larger sizes in the tutorials Midge, Anja x
Where can I find the instructions
I have a question: what if I use velvet yarn for this jacket??
Do you think velvet yarn looks better or regular yarn for this project?
I really don't know, I've never used the velvet yarns for clothing, I don't see why it wouldn't work, watch your sizing though, good luck, have fun and thank you, Anja x
Can I please ask dose the blue daisy 💙 have 1 more row ro make it longer?
Yes I did extra squares, it is explained in the video, Anja x
Can you show us how she made her roses. Thank you!
I show you how to make the flower squares in the first video….
Thank you
Where can I find the written pattern? What yarn are you using ?
There will be a written pattern available on my website, details below the video.
In the video I tell you the yarn I'm using all details are given, Anja x
I have been looking for a Mountain Laurel flower. I can’t find one or make one. That talented I ,’m not! Perhaps one of you lovely ladies would know someone that specializes in them.
I'll see what I can come up with, Anja x

@sheetaltyagi4130 I'm not sure what you mean by a triangle cardigan, can you explain please? Thanks, Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks its a cardigan having triangular front like in triangular shawl.... But back side is like simple cardigan ...like in ponchu dress for kids
what ply yarn is it
Im a size 1x will this fit me. Im most worried about the arms being to tight.
This is what I would call a size medium, Anja x
Hello, I"m a granny square newbie and want to make this cardigan. I normally wear a size 6-8. My square turns out to be 13cm after the 2nd round of main color. I think my tension is too loose and used a size 4.25 hook. Should I keep going and use less squares or start over? I used the production line method for daisies. Your honest answer is appreciated. Thank You!
Well Jill, you have to ask yourself the question, do I like the squares as they are? If not, then your best option is to frog them all and use a smaller hook, try doing several squares in scrap yarn, each in a different size hook and see what 'material' you like the feel of!! Enjoy this learning process, and don't give up at the first hurdle, you can do this. Anja x
Following both this and the written pattern, and although I am using the exact same yarn and hook size, my squares are measuring at about 10 cm and not 13😅 do you think it wont matter too much, or should I add another row?
Eli, l would make the squares and lay them out flat, measure them and see if you need an extra row!! Thank you, Anja x
How many squares would I need for a size 18 or 20
In the pattern I suggest 96 squares for a L-XL size, hope this helps, thank you, Anja x
Oh, boy did I screw up. I did all my petals, with dc and also my squares with dc🙄 But Iv'e made them all so they will just have to do.
You'll just have to make more squares Brenda! Anja x
Hi Brenda. My tension is quite loose so I tried doing the petals using dc for both petals and granny rows. It came out at 13 cms -the same as @Anya’s. As long as the squares measure the same it won’t matter.
@@ruthsmith3373 My squares are a little smaller, so I'm putting another round on them, of coure now they are a little bigger,🙄
Anja said double crochet ,when there actually actually trebles, and her trebles are double trebles, so it can be confusing always best to watch the actual stitches, but that's the fun it's adaptable ☺
Anja, Can I make it only 4 rows and make longer the size?
Hadia, I'm not sure what you're asking, but you can make it as long or short as you want by adding rows of squares, Anja x
@@OpheliaTalks oh sorry, i mean can I make square smaller than you make it? bcz i tried make daisy square by ur other tutorial ( use green yarn)
👏👏👏👏🌷💐🌺🙋♀️
How many for size 20 xxl. Is there template for layout of squares please
I tell you in the next video ruclips.net/video/da4l5kbcX3A/видео.htmlsi=bUKXe5vq6fMc0hDr also there is a pattern which you can purchase that has the layout also. As for how many squares I would suggest trying it on to see how many more you will need, Anja x
www.opheliatalkscrochet.com/ophelia-talks-crochet-patterns/daisy-cardigan-crochet-pattern
How much denim yarn did ou use?
If you watch the video I do tell you how much of each colour I use, it's in the beginning, Anja x
What are the dimensions of each square? 4x4? 5x5?
@deekang2139 most of my squares come out to approx 5x5, thanks for watching, Anja x
How long does the cardigan take to make?
@dairymilkythemouse206 that is impossible for me to answer, it depends on how long it takes you, how much time you can devote to it, and how fast you crochet!
Thanks for watching, Anja x
Hi Anji,
I was mainly asking because I've just spent 3 days making all my squares 😂 I didnt know of I was just slow or something
Where do u live ? Is so beautiful!
I live in Devon, a town called Exmouth, but this was a short ride away, theres loads of lovely places in Devon to visit! Anja x
Did you block your cardigan or the squares?
Hi fallgor1, no, I've never felt the need to block any of my squares, so far!! But if you wish you can do. Thank you, Anja x
🥰😍👍🧶👏👏👏❤️😘
Lovely cardigan but not a huge fan of the stepped square look under the arm. Looks weird.
Hi Cynthia, we all have our likes and dislikes, I like it, it's different, but that's fine if it's not for you, thank you, Anja x
