Classic Tetris Monthly is a series of monthly #Nintendo #Tetris tournaments, started by founding mother fridaywitch in December 2017, and resurrected by vandweller in October 2018. Nowadays, it's become the largest NES Tetris #Tournament expanding to seven events: The Masters Event, the Challengers Circuit, the Futures Circuit, the Hopefuls Circuit, the Community Tournament, Tetris Deathmatch and Monday Night Chasedown!

Fractal almost reached 1.9 before (this Jan as I remember).
@@LocPham-pb2dv it's kinda hard to gauge records for this situation too since he was playing on after he knew he won. So he could go for tetrises without worry
Under the all time highest scores with the level 39 super killscreen in CTM competition, Scuti's 1.795 is 7th, just over 100k shy of Fractal's world record of 1.899 achieved in the February 2024 finals!
@@MonthlyTetris thanks for the info! I thought it would be at least top ten! what is considered "under competition"? What if one person tops out early, can the other just play super aggressive for tetrises to get a high score?
