Oops sorry the qual scores are wrong at the start.
Fractal qualified with 1,800,820 and Sidnev qualified via making it to the masters semi finals for January and qualified despite a score of 1,069,541.
1.8 QUAL????
well now we know to blame dan v
VanD, please don't spoil the CTWC! I'm planning to watch it by the end of 2026!
No judgments, I have a busy schedule.
Absolutely insane play by Fractal to close it out. That misdrop at 48:05 could have ended it, but he burns down the right side of the board *just* enough to sneak the J-piece around, burns one more line with the T, and then flops down the perfect sequence of pieces to get the well back open.
Kinda understand why Sidnev rage quits lol
50:01
SINDNEVV : going offline guys ... LATER
That last game from Fractal...
music too loud! ~ please don't drown out Vandy's beautifully soothing voice like that! 😖🤌
Fractal has infinite dig holy
Worth of being a world finals matchup. Sidnev always getting spoiled by fractal. dang the competition this year is insanely consistent!
#1 vs #16 should be a sweep! ;)
What a chasedown.
Some mental recoveries by fractal in this match
Ive just discovered this type of competitive tetris over the last month or so and become addicted to it.
But i have a question. How are the player seedings determined in the events? Is there a ranking system for the players, or is it based off of event qualifying scores etc? It just seems weird to see Sidnevv as 16th seed, so i was curious
Qualifying happens throughout the month, and players get 1 hour to play out games, with the top 2 scores being averaged to make their qualifying score. On top of that there are extra rules like winners of tiers automatically qualifying for the next tier up, and making it to the semi finals automatically qualifies you for at least the same tier as last month, which is how Sidnev got here in 16th despite a poor qualifier
Seedings are determined by qualifying scores. Qualifying period length and scores are different competition to competition, CTM generally is average of Top 2 scores and CTWC has been the highest number of max-out games (999,999+) plus a kicker game below this. Sometimes top players have a good/bad qualifier and so there's variation definitely. (Correct me if I'm wrong ok haha)
@20Dan03 ahh fantastic. thankyou very much mate, greatly appreciated
@@noahpickens also thankyou :) you both posted the same time lol
Thanks VanD
My top 4 will be Fractal, AlexT, Sidnev, Dog. Top 6 will BlueScuti, Andy
Does rolling cause pain or discomfort? I've never considered it, but I saw Fractal bring his hand up a couple of times here and shake it.
The idea that this causes them a bit of pain or discomfort saddens me lol :(
15:06 like here, he's shaking his hand like it's in pain or maybe it was falling asleep and I feel bad for him :(
FRACTALLLL
I really like how ridiculously good people have gotten at Tetris, like any pretense that I had any skill is *gone* . Like chess grandmasters. Or well, at least Fractal is 50:01 LOL. That’s some fighting game player behavior right there, despicable.
Uiuiui...
Sidnev...
Gteat match🎉🎉🎉🎉
ERIC ICX is the winner of this match. Did Sidnev hit her camera when the match was over.
he always acts out in poor sportsmanship.
@@chimyshark I do, and I hope to better myself in the future. Sorry if you don't like seeing it, if I had the choice I definitely wouldn't react so strongly to losses but unfortunately my brain doesn't quite work that way (yet at least)
@@Sidnev Just dont hurt ur golden ROLLING finger or break the camera! Salt bring Viewership
@@SidnevYou’re an amazing Tetris-player, cheers from a fellow European 👏🏻
@@chimysharkyou can critique someone without being a bigot. Really just makes you look like the asshole
Music is too loud
Now it's Sidnevv with 2 V's? I wonder what's next.
It's always been sidnevv, but sidnev was also accepted.
She's always been VV
@@janzwendelaar907 - I'm so confused lol
@@mikea5205 When Sid entered the scene, it was under the username Sidnevv, but Sidnev was also an acceptable name of writing it and an alt from the same person.
So double v or single v can be used interchangeably
@@janzwendelaar907 my twitch name is sidnevv because Sidnev was already taken
Can u please change the profile pic of sidnev
Thank you
Sidnev should be punished for his disrespectful behavior. His embarrassing and childish reaction is regular and happens just about every month. Please do something about it, the Tetris community does not need such negative atmosphere in the tournament.
this
The problem is that criticizing Sidnev is not allowed. Your comment is going to be deleted and nothing will be done, because, well we all know why.
her*, you can criticize someone without misgendering them
Ok but who is ‚his‘?
@@ivyivyyiivvvyyyyvy Not all people keep up-to-date with the gender chaos that happened in the last three years where about 10% of the male players changed their gender. Keeping up with it feels like a full-time job. Never the less, while I appreciate the skill of everyone, if someone wants to be a true lady, act like one. My two euro-cents.
Always happy to see him losing. Fractal toying with him always.
