I feel like Lucy definitely made the graves for everyone because the Rebecca grave says “I wish we could have finished our conversation” Rebecca was talking to Lucy before she got Adam Smashed
Fun fact about Rebecca’s shotgun: if you fire it midair you can actually get a triple jump as the gun resets the jump and allows you to jump again but you have to fire it downwards
@@dreamtalk2794Yes, and you don't need to fire it downward. Shoot any direction, it'll reset your speed midair and allow you to add another double jump and another air dash. Also works with Brick's shotgun you can buy from the black market dealer in Dogtown.
Also, I honestly think it's more how we perceive his LOD or the Netrunner using Adam as a Proxy, since we know good old Adam was never a particularly skilled Netrunner, but Arasaka would absolutely outfit him with state-of-the-art/prototype countermeasures.
You know after the horrible launch and all the lawsuits, I was fully expecting them to just let it die. I’m so glad that they fixed it because the cyberpunk IP deserves a good video game. It deserves a few good movies and tv shows too but we’ll see

@@netwatch7261 i mean yeah, i feel like you should be able to at least run the game on a $1500 pc on low settings. The game is great now, but lets not pretend it always was
Its interesting that you mentioned vampires in Cyberpunk. There is a relatively obscure crossover module with Vampire the Masquerade that combines the World of Darkness with Cyberpunk 2020. It actually has some really interesting lore explaining how the supernatural population has adapted to the Dark Future. Vampires are pretty pissed that humans can actually put up a fight now lol
The best part about it is that in Vampire the Masquerade canon, Vampires automatically heal to the exact form they had at the time of their Embrace (when they were turned into a vampire), This means you have all sorts of weird shit in the lore like Vampire Vikings who have to shave and groom themselves every morning to keep up with the standards of the societies they live in, as well as humans being tortured by being cut in half and disemboweled and then embraced so everysingle night they re-live that torment. But also, it means if a vampire gets an arm-mounted missile launcher that shoots 12 missiles in under a second and blasts a small building into pieces? the next sunrise when they sleep their body will close-to-literally chew it up and spit it out as a pile of scrap metal. Vampires pretty much can't use augments, even vampires Embraced in the cyberpunk era would have their augments malfunction and lose power the moment they die, or worse yet, start calling trauma team to send highly trained humans to recover a masquerade (the rule that vampire MUST NOT be discovered) breaching vampire. It adds a lot of cool complications to the lore!
6:38 You dont need 70% friendship with Johnny. This is a myth that people keep thinking is true. You need to select specific dialogue options when visiting his 'grave'. With the correct option Johnny will realise how V is his closest friend and how much of a dick he has been, this then changes how he sees V and opens the option for him to suggest they alone atack Arasaka Tower. I got the ending with only 50% affinity
Editing gets your message unpinned 😂 damn. Thanks for letting me know future runs are saved, also have you played PL? I really liked Johnny’s dialogue in that.
Tbh I really like the idea of having cyber vampires as a sorta side story adventure. Kinda like a cyberpunk horror story about a bunch of cyber-psychos running around converting people to a cult and causing mass panic across night city and your able to either join up with them or go full blade and take them all down. Btw great iceberg as always!
Theres one cyberpsycho from the Maelstrom that fits pretty much the bill for this horror story in the game, is one that you can only fight at night, a Maelstrom woman naked with mantis blades, that came from a fridge filled with ice and body part surrounded by dead bodies. you need to find some hidden clues so she came out to fight you, the cool thing about this cyberpsycho is that she is watching you all the time from some high points and if you look directly to her, she will mess with your optic implants, and change position pretty scary sht.
@@efxnews4776 Your right! I remember fighting her for the first time weren't they basically trying to do what the voodoo boys are trying to do? Break through the wall where AIs are like Alt? At least I think that's the one I think you're talking about but I do remember that fight
surprised johny's engram or engram tech wasn't mentioned. a small plot detail most people overlook is the shard that helman gives you. the shard talks about how most engrams only reach 70-80% rate of cohesion to who they're based on. Meaning the johny we have in our head could be very different than the one who was alive. Briggete also tells us a lot of the memory on the shard is corrupted. and alt flat up tells us that the memories we experienced from johny had no basis on what happened in reality. We also know that arasaka experiments and modifies memories of engrams. as well as that johny's engram isn't unique and the one we have in our head isn't the original, somehow johny also seems to know this because when we first meet him its one of the first thing he says "the original engram must be out there" in johny's memories he also doesn't die like he is stated to in the lore. in the lore he is killed by smasher and shot in half. this is backed up by a line V has joking that "a ghost of a man cut in half haunts arasaka new recruits" so johny's memories are either wrong or have been falsified when we experience them
Additional note: Silverhand's body is recovered by some Runners during the time of the RED and is brought to a secured location where the person who has him, was working on possibly revivng him.
Johnny's memories are the way they are because BD or BD adjacent experiences are subjectively based on the individual. Johhny is a drunk drug addled unstable narcissist who tends to inflate his importance due to his ego. Also the process johnny went through was different than the imperfect 80% digital copy.
That's a perspective but i think having the love of your life's child with you to remember them by is pretty nice. Plus lucy wouldn't be alone in the world with everyone she knew being dead.
But she would have to take care of the kid while also running from Arasaka, also maybe with the horrible world she lives in she doesn’t want a kid. For some reason whenever a heroine of a series who was in a relationship has an ambiguous fate the theories always go “she’s pregnant” like people think being pregnant is the best thing that could happen to her, and not an active hinderance to her survival.
Just a heads up, Maxtac is made up almost entirely of reformed cyberpsychos. It's partially the reason why your told to not kill them in the game and incapacitate instead

my personal theory is that mr blue eyes is an AI because characters eyes turn blue when data is being transferred, an AI could hypothetically continuously upload data to a person and control them. a lot of the dlc and story points to the dangers of the self aware ai beyond the black wall and it would make sense that they're trying to expand because as time progresses, the real estate of the old net is gonna become more and more finite
I originally bought that theory as well. But I don’t think that much computational power can be achieved with having human doll. At least lore behind human dolls in CP2077 universe is left quite unexplained. Mr Blue Eyes is like that Mass Effect The Illusive man guy or at least being inspired by TIM. I’m sure CDPR is building something with Mr Blue Eyes character which Peralez quest line and Phantom Liberty hints at.
@viljaminieminen6925 think of a Doll chip like a streaming service. They're just the interface, the computation and load-bearing activity happens at the source (AI) I'm not up on the Blue Eyes lore but it makes sense.
If i remember right there’s a mission where some random sketchy guy you just met offers u a BD that fries you if you take it then you wake up with all your stuff missing lol

Skippy only switches to the opposite mode that you initially selected. If you select puppy loving pacifist upon your first interaction, it’ll switch to the headshot only mode permanently after 50 kills.
Mine messed up, I chose puppy loving pacifist and went through it but Skippy decided to lock me in that mode! Gave him to Regina ASAP I was kinda pissed lol
@@Bmoran325 There's a wait time for the switch. If you unequip him, or holster him, it'll reset. You can achieve the dialogue just by keeping him in hand for a while any time after the 50 kills. You can also duplicate him if you want, and give one to Regina.
Really? When I asked him why can't I switch back to lethal, he replied: "Why can you only kill 50 people? YOU FUCKING PSYCHO!" What does he say if you ask why can't you stay non-lethal?
That's what annoyed me about the "controversy", everyone is commercialised and fetishised in cyberpunk, there are no exceptions, it feels entitled for people to only complain about this one instance of fetishisation.
54:49 Lucy cannot contact Falco otherwise they would be caught by Arasaka easily. Hence the mention of Falco to V by saying they're "out of the spotlight".
You missed the MAIN piece of evidence to the "Adam knew V and Jackie were there" theory, if you have the augment that auto-highlights enemies that have seen you when stealthing, it literally highlights him. Yeah, it's pretty much canon. This is also not out of character for Adam Smasher, there's another theory that in the Arasaka Tower Bombing, he deliberately stopped Johnny from getting the nuke to the tower's base because he knew it would cause more destruction and chaos in the area surrounding Corpo Plaza. Johnnys original plan was to have it detonate in the basement.
theres plenty of evidence to indicate that since smasher is a boss character, he's programmed to always highlight red on the threat detector. Also Johnny's memories are corrupted in some way, so i wouldnt trust anything from those. It was blackhand that got the nuke set up, i doubt he'd fuck it up like johnny would.
I think it’s somewhat confirmed the nuke did end up going off in the basement. In the Panam ending, while in the basement, Saul points out that you’re in the exact location the nuke detonated, to which Panam quips that they must be surrounded by radiation.
Johnny pistol got me thru the game an dlc ouuuu cyberpunk is such a masterpiece I can’t believe that it use to be buggy as fuck but I’m glad I didn’t give up on it very good game I just wish we got another dlc
1:35:00 You missed a detail. CDPR was one of the very first sets of people told Bowie was dying, months before it happened, long before the knowledge was released, because he _wanted_ to do it. But he was going to be dead in like two or three months, so he was honest with them of why he couldn't.
OK, so for the seashells thing, I looked it up online and apparently you’re supposed to use two of the seashells clamp together to get off any larger remaining bits. Then you use the last seashell by itself to wipe off anything else. That sounds rough and inefficient, but apparently it’s what the Director of demolition Man wanted.
I wanted to mention that johnnys arm was an equipable item at the games launch that you'd get after the chipping in quest, it would appear in your backpack and selecting it would give you the hologram arm effect that happens when johnny is in your body It was removed after a patch due to it being a bug and not a feature
Calling Joshua's quest "weird" is an understatement. Crucifying him was as incredible and otherworldly as the most fantastical boss fights in some games. It really felt important, and giving him a chance to spread his truth, instead of rotting in night city, seemed very human.
Still have never been able to bring myself to that ending. If you get right up to the choice, but refuse to do it yourself, you still get all of the same benefits as if you are involved directly.
I hope the new DLC will learn more about Morgan Blackhand, like where is he and why wasn't he part of Johnny's memory. The dude is literally a mystery in this game.
Also just to let you know that he probably was. That part with Johnny is on the roof yeah that was most likely Johnny superimposing himself on Morgan Blackhand because we know in the lore that Johnny immediately died the second Smasher saw him
@@mariobadia4553glad you said this, the real mystery is if Johnny is a reliable narrator or not. We know how the Arasaka tower raid went because of the table top game, but it is *completely* different from what is shown in game. Like pigpen said, there’s a lot of people who don’t even know cyberpunk had an original rpg
@@mariobadia4553doesn’t Alt tell you during her first appearance that a lot of Johnny’s stories, Arasaka tower especially, were completely full of shit? In his head he was the brave hero during the tower bombing, not Blackhand
@@mariobadia4553I always got the impression Blackhand only appeared between the cuts of each memory. He probably still had his fight with Smasher on the roof, but Johnny was unconscious by then to witness it.

Regarding the Kojima cameo, in Japanese, Kojima is written 小島, using the characters for "small" and "island". Oshima would be written 大島, using the characters for "big" and "island".
Lol, sure the name of the mission may possibly be simply referencing the chemist, Heisenberg, and not Walter White's alter-ego, Heisenberg. However, considering the mission itself involves taking out a drug lab and it's chemists it's definitely referencing the "Heisenberg" from Breaking Bad and not just the real-world chemist or any of his ideas/theories associated with his name. I mean c'mon now, basically anything with a drug lab and those "iconic" yellow hazmat suits count as a BB reference considering the show is responsible for popularizing/making the general public aware of how a drug lab/drug manufacturing production looks like, even if the piece of media in question isn't explicitly referencing BB imo they may as well be if they include a drug lab or the yellow hazmat suits, and especially if they reference/visually nod at the iconic "Blue Dream" meth that Walter makes in the show, like if the blue meth is there it's automatically a BB reference, even if the drugs are only blue to reference how IRL people started dying/making their meth blue because of the show. Like in the Walking Dead, for instance, there's a scene where they show blue meth, and while I'm sure they were just referencing how there's blue meth IRL (due to the popularity of the show) it still counts as a Breaking Bad reference since the show was basically the genesis of people thinking meth is typically blue/people actually dying their meth blue. Sorry but BB pretty much defined how meth is physically perceived in media, and will continue to do so for a good long while, especially since people actually started dying their meth blue following the show's popularity, either to match the show/be recognizable or possibly to trick people into thinking it's "hyper-pure" since Walter's meth in the show was 99.6% pure in the show, but idk man 😂
The secret ending is only partially true. You dont have to have a specific amount of likeability. You just need to choose a specific dialogoption in the mission chippin in. You need to tell Johnny that he destroyed your relationship with him, he fucked up, and then give him a second but last chance. This dialog takes places when you visit his graveside after obtaining his car.
@yoyo7718 not really ive had playthroughs where I had 85%, so the maximum before the last mission and it didn't work. If you don't give him a second chance he doesn't bring it up because he has no need in fixing it
My ending was different I betray Johnny he was shock I liked the expression on his face😂 I took him out but at the end I felt bad I want another dlc for cyberpunk 2077
You forgot one hilarious easter egg. There's somewhere a dead body of the guy who had an accident on a motorbike. There's a note beside, that tells you he's Pablo Jumper which is a nod to the viral RUclips video (in Poland). The guy in the video was named Paweł Jumper. He rode on his bicycle and jumped of some kind of stairs through the front of his bike, scoring a beautiful fail. I highly recommend seeing it Edit: Also some enemies in polish version yell "Ała kurwa rzeczywiście", Paweł Jumper says that after his fail. It means sth like "ouch, fuck for real" (like it hurts for real)
Becca's design story is not "explained" correctly. The main controversy was the danger of overcrowding the cast for just 10 episodes, as she was concept of the animation studio not done in advance. Her design was just a part of her problem.
@@lucre113 is the fact that she is a loli type of character, she looks like a young teenager, and is very sexualized, despite been mature enough I kinda understand CDPR in this regard, after the horrible launch of the game a scalded cat would fear cold water for sure, but thank God they trusted Studio Trigger to do their job, and so the controversy was just this small detail of something bad that was avoided.
Happened to me twice. 1st time just thought it was a visual bug cause recently I loaded from a save. 2nd time it happened was coming back from the badlands. Funny to know the real reason now.
There's a second Akira reference during the car chase with Goro Takemura after Dexter gets flatlined. One of the Arasaka guys chasing you does the classic bike drift turnaorund move that Kaneda does, that classic iconic moment. I'm not sure what kind of bike he's riding though, it would be perfect if he was on the Yaiba.
The alternate ending for Edgerunners where David becomes a war machine like Adam Smasher sounds so dope. It would be really cool if he became the next big villian that you would eventually have to fight in the Cyberpunk sequel game like how Adam Smasher was to V.
That would be impossible, since the game came out BEFORE the anime, and would also be horrible because it would Smasher would pretty much be killed in an spin off from the game (it doesn't matter how good the anime is, is still an spin of from the game). Like it or not the David Martinez we know from the anime only came to existence in the game and was barely a foot note on it, Adam Smasher was a pretty major character since most of the franchise existence. The fact that Smasher died in the game was major for the whole franchise, altough i don't deny that more Edgerunners related stuff MUST come out, i think turn David into a killing machine, just to oppose V is stupid, let the boy rest as a night city legend that he fought so much to become.
@@soupgirl1871 That wouldn't explain what he's been up to for over a year. Someone who went through all of that and became a killing machine then vanish until a sequel is pretty bad. At best, he could've been added as a bonus Cyberpsycho that would been harder to takedown than the others with the option to help or kill him.
One alternate story path for Cyberpunk 2077 that they could do which would lead to having Jackie as a sort of antagonist is if he didn't take the Relic out in the car ride over as he finally bled out... With the way the relic works, as he died it should have activated and he'd become Johnny, or at least start sharing a brain with him the way V does.
Found this out the hard way, did everything for the ending, and it wouldn't pop up. So dumb, it should have just been 70% because man, it's real picky about what you say
@@JesterDragon8743Yeah, I still think it's bullshit you can complete all those side quests and not get that ending just because Johnny is a picky little bitch about someone trying to make him feel better. Motherfucker, I still took the time to do all that for you even though I'll basically die of cancer in 6 months
@@MacinteuchPlusI mean getting 70% in itself is impossible without the dlc or very specific things, being extremely picky about it over 1 dialogue option in the hundreds you have with Johnny is pretty weird
Cyberpunk had such a good comeback, I had so much faith in this game and never gave up on it. I enjoyed it even with the bugs and glitches. But now I LOVE IT. Did 13 play throughs and rn my 14th for phantom liberty😅
So I kinda like the first person cutscenes, I read the art book and it mentioned that the intention was to show the world through Cyber Eyes. It’s part of the reason why V always has cyber eyes regardless of choice. I guess my question is, without V’s cyber eyes would V even see Johnny, since he’s a construct?
He wouldn't be able to, yeah. It's like a prerequisite situation. The optics are wired to the chipware, without optics it would still function but you would have no GUI.
I remember seeing somewhere that the theory for Smasher knowing that V is in the room isn't just a theory because if you manage to get a certain ability prior to the mission, he lights up, indicating that he can actually see you in the room. I could be misremembering, but I wanted to mention it just in case.
^ this. it's literally in their code, so all bosses always light up red with a Threat Detector. it wouldn't be surprising if he knew either way though.
I'm 99% sure Mr. Blue eyes is actually part of night corp based on the information you learn through the side mission where you give the drive back to Sandra Dorsett. Oh and of course there's an entire set a missions revolving around a certain politician being mind controlled and he just so happens to be watching you at the end of said quest line after you receive a very threatening phone call.
Also that same politician, we find, was groomed for his role his whole life, and he met his wife, similarly groomed, while they both attended school on a Night Corp Scholarship.
As far as the "I'm not me" artwork goes it could have something to do with Arasaka having tech to completely rewrite someone's memories and personality. Maybe those drawings are from people who've had that happen to them and are getting flashes of their previous life or found evidence that they really aren't them, and it's driving them insane.
Mr. Blue Eyes kind of reminds me of the G-Man from the Half - Life series... I mean if you think about it, both wear a suit, have unique eyes, and are really mysterious while also watching the protagonist from a far and being very vague. The only difference is that Mr. Blue Eyes is only seen once (or twice if you did the secret ending.) Also Mr. Blue Eyes doesn't own a briefcase. Update/Edit: He's seen a third time in Phantom Liberty.
To me he draws more inspiration from The Illusive man from Mass Effect trilogy. Both have blue eyes and suit and operates as some sort of agent of collective intelligence. Mr Blue eyes man is was also referred by Songbird she V pries further at the space port.
i got cyberpunk for the pc the day it came out and as rough as it was, i always felt the story carried strong. i never regretted the purchase. i figured it was like a 6 or 7 out of 10 on release because my pc had fewer issues. and it was fun being in on the memes. i replayed it again after 2.0, and it is now one of my favorite games of all time, i simply cant stop playing.
Ozob is Bozo backwards, obvious right? But, if you’re old enough to remember, there’s a childrens game show that has a character called Bozo The Clown.. Pretty awesome of a Eater egg

I think Lucy is alive and out there somewhere, since I find it weird that they didn't add something so simple as the niches of the Edgerunners crew in the very same DLC that added Guts, David's jacket. Also, it is a bit intriguing that Lucy's "ending" involves her being on the moon, and one of V's endings (and probable canonical one, aside from the new Phantom Liberty endings I haven't gotten as of yet), involves them making moves on Crystal Palace, which is in space. I won't expect V and Lucy to meet in whatever Orion pans out to be, not entirely, since I think the ending to let Johnny take over is quite possible the canon ending (they'll have to choose one, since most other RPGs have canon choices), but it's a real possibility.
@@elinfantbag6653V at that point would be one of the best edgerunners in the city. It makes sense to give a jacket of an S tier edgerunner to the best currently alive one
I actually think the aerondight car is supposed to be a sort of statement about relationships in cyberpunks world. Caliburn is Arthur's sword so you're probably expecting its sister car to be named Excalibur but instead its named after aerondight (lancelots sword) and geunivere (who cheated on arthur with lancelot). Combined with how many side gigs and NPC interactions include infidelity i always interpreted it as a statement on how normalised cheating is in 2077
Adam Smasher 100% knew for a fact that Jackie and V were behind the wall. Whoever said he was "just messing with them" isnt really thinking things through. Thats just bad theorizing. The whole point of the Relic is so Saburo can put his engram on it and install it into Yorinobu. Then Saburo can live forever. By continuiously putting his consciousness into new members of his family. Smasher knew that Yorinobu was going to kill Saburo before Saburo could enact this plan. The whole plot was designed to get a team of Mercs in the room to take the fall for Saburo's death. Thats why he doesnt confront you. Youre the fall guys for Yorinobu's murder of Saburo. Adam Smasher becomes head of Arasaka security after Yorinobu takes over. And Takemura is out on the street. Everything went according to plan except V actually making it out with the Relic. Adam Smasher was watching you to make sure you didnt try to stop or kill Yorinobu. Thats why he is watching you the whole time. The rest of the game doesnt make sense if that wasnt always the plan.
1:13:05 T-Bug is confirmed dead. Remember that netrunner store in Kabuki you can visit during the prologue to get your first quickhack? Return there after the heist and the shop clerk will confirm that they found her body.
I think we'll see more of the crazy stuff in the Cyberpunk universe in Orion. The poser gangs, vampires, and even the exotic body mods could have easily put people off of the game who hadn't been introduced to the world. Now that it's more established in the public eye, they can dial it up a bit.
Ah, the irony with the tram is gold. The Lucy "offs herself" is completely random based only on "I believe"-nonsense. Also, T-Bug was found dead, fried in her dock/station. It's unlikely that she was targeted by Soulkiller, however. Nothing hints to it and it otherwise would be an additional good opportunity (CDPR would have) missed later on the game, similiar to Jacky's "return".

Although I was totally on the “Mock Cyberpunk 2077 for bad launch and weak RPG options” bandwagon, and although I still have lots of criticism for the game, I consider myself primarily on the side of art and creative people. The creators on Cyberpunk 2077 wanted to tell a unique and interesting story, and those efforts are noble. The Anime also legitimately helped revitalize my interest in the setting. I also saw lots of jokes about Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite making Anime’s to regain some interest too lol
Same, I was one of the guys who had no better things to do other than make jokes about Cyberpunk's bugs. But honestly, since the launch I've always considered the game to be one of my favourites in terms of aesthetic and visuals. The game absolutely nails that 90's futuristic aesthetic and was probably the one reason that made me hopeful for its future. The game looks almost magical during night time.

You could say it was absolutely "smashing" *rich person chuckle*
Yeah, I highly doubt she got in contact with Falco and asked him to write the epitets with those specific quotes.
She definitely did, Davids says “You didn't take me to the moon, but you were there with me" so she came back to NC after the moon trip
Fun fact about Rebecca’s shotgun: if you fire it midair you can actually get a triple jump as the gun resets the jump and allows you to jump again but you have to fire it downwards
this was sadly patched out lolz, unless they re added it in 2.0 ofc
Oh so basically you're saying that Rebecca used a gun that allowed her to rocket (shotgun?) jump...yeah that's perfectly in character for her.

@@dreamtalk2794Yes, and you don't need to fire it downward. Shoot any direction, it'll reset your speed midair and allow you to add another double jump and another air dash. Also works with Brick's shotgun you can buy from the black market dealer in Dogtown.
Adam Smasher’s “demon skull” isn’t alluding to his actual skull, it’s how he perceives and displays himself on the net.

That’s fuckin cool definitely canon then
The best part about it is that in Vampire the Masquerade canon, Vampires automatically heal to the exact form they had at the time of their Embrace (when they were turned into a vampire), This means you have all sorts of weird shit in the lore like Vampire Vikings who have to shave and groom themselves every morning to keep up with the standards of the societies they live in, as well as humans being tortured by being cut in half and disemboweled and then embraced so everysingle night they re-live that torment.
Imagining an oblivious Vampire deciding Morgan Blackhand looks like a good meal.
TBF a lot of the Worlds of Darkness crossovers barely work within its own continuity, so I guess if it doesn’t work with canon, go big or go home.
Do you know if aliens are canon lore?
6:38 You dont need 70% friendship with Johnny. This is a myth that people keep thinking is true. You need to select specific dialogue options when visiting his 'grave'. With the correct option Johnny will realise how V is his closest friend and how much of a dick he has been, this then changes how he sees V and opens the option for him to suggest they alone atack Arasaka Tower. I got the ending with only 50% affinity

@@Saeiane777isn’t it also heavily implied that Angel, the person that requested the body, a clone of Alt Cunningham?
@RobertoCCantu I cannot say, but that would be *super dope* if so
Johnny's memories are the way they are because BD or BD adjacent experiences are subjectively based on the individual. Johhny is a drunk drug addled unstable narcissist who tends to inflate his importance due to his ego. Also the process johnny went through was different than the imperfect 80% digital copy.
It's absolutely not stated in the lore that Johnny died all it says is he was never seen again after the bombs went off
lucy being pregnant is “too uplifting” is insane i think that would make it even more depressing than the other alternative ending
For some reason whenever a heroine of a series who was in a relationship has an ambiguous fate the theories always go “she’s pregnant” like people think being pregnant is the best thing that could happen to her, and not an active hinderance to her survival.

my personal theory is that mr blue eyes is an AI because characters eyes turn blue when data is being transferred, an AI could hypothetically continuously upload data to a person and control them. a lot of the dlc and story points to the dangers of the self aware ai beyond the black wall and it would make sense that they're trying to expand because as time progresses, the real estate of the old net is gonna become more and more finite
I originally bought that theory as well. But I don’t think that much computational power can be achieved with having human doll. At least lore behind human dolls in CP2077 universe is left quite unexplained.

No way my man said “The Heisenberg Principle” is a breaking bad reference 💀
On god lmfao
Considering the mission titled that consists of breaking into a drug production lab and taking out the equipment/chemists, it most definitely is.
it literally is tho? youre breaking into a drug making lab and taking out the chemists.
Sorry but BB pretty much defined how meth is physically perceived in media, and will continue to do so for a good long while, especially since people actually started dying their meth blue following the show's popularity, either to match the show/be recognizable or possibly to trick people into thinking it's "hyper-pure" since Walter's meth in the show was 99.6% pure in the show, but idk man 😂
It is a Breaking Bad reference, and a song reference, and a science reference. You know things can reference multiple things, right?
The secret ending is only partially true. You dont have to have a specific amount of likeability. You just need to choose a specific dialogoption in the mission chippin in. You need to tell Johnny that he destroyed your relationship with him, he fucked up, and then give him a second but last chance. This dialog takes places when you visit his graveside after obtaining his car.
It's either or. You either do that dialogue, or have the relationship high enough
@yoyo7718 not really ive had playthroughs where I had 85%, so the maximum before the last mission and it didn't work. If you don't give him a second chance he doesn't bring it up because he has no need in fixing it

He rode on his bicycle and jumped of some kind of stairs through the front of his bike, scoring a beautiful fail. I highly recommend seeing it

I guess my question is, without V’s cyber eyes would V even see Johnny, since he’s a construct?
He wouldn't be able to, yeah. It's like a prerequisite situation. The optics are wired to the chipware, without optics it would still function but you would have no GUI.

“The Watcher” is a classic trope

To me he draws more inspiration from The Illusive man from Mass Effect trilogy. Both have blue eyes and suit and operates as some sort of agent of collective intelligence.
Mr Blue eyes man is was also referred by Songbird she V pries further at the space port.
The Bozos would be a great antagonist for the upcoming sequel
i got cyberpunk for the pc the day it came out and as rough as it was, i always felt the story carried strong. i never regretted the purchase. i figured it was like a 6 or 7 out of 10 on release because my pc had fewer issues. and it was fun being in on the memes. i replayed it again after 2.0, and it is now one of my favorite games of all time, i simply cant stop playing.
Ozob is Bozo backwards, obvious right? But, if you’re old enough to remember, there’s a childrens game show that has a character called Bozo The Clown..
Pretty awesome of a Eater egg
I was playing the game today and I found out In the diner after the Kerry mission where you blow up a van there's a fat guy dressed in green ordering two number 9s a number 9 large, etc it was pretty unexpected but funny

Cyberware. The answer’s always cyberware when something like this comes up in-game
I think the “demon head” for Adam Smasher is just how he looks in cyberspace, so we now know he goes very edgy in the metaverse
"Deemed to uplifting of an ending" goes to show that the main goal of edgerunners was to cause massive emotional damage

I literally just updated Cyberpunk 2077 today so I can play from the start again and this is the best surprise all day
Funny how some of the cut content were added back in, like the metro
T bug is definitely dead. You can confirm this by talking to a shop keeper who sells net running gear
Yeah, they found her body
"It was deemed too uplifting of an ending"
So showrunners saying they hate good shit
Niches for the Edgerunners crew were added in the 2.0 update
I mean you talk to Falco to get the jacket
@@flamebreaker7318can’t really say that’s canon tbh 😅kinda weird how after a year falco just gives David jacket to some stranger
@@elinfantbag6653V at that point would be one of the best edgerunners in the city. It makes sense to give a jacket of an S tier edgerunner to the best currently alive one
I'd expect the Canon ending to either be a Variant of "The Sun" or "Dont Fear the Reaper"
And now there is an official functioning metro system as of ver 2.1 of the game. You can ride up to five metro lines.
Bro its still unlisted on your page
This guy doesn't even know how to use the Three Seashells 🤣
Oh i could already see some Furries having a time of their life…

Ah, the irony with the tram is gold.
The Lucy "offs herself" is completely random based only on "I believe"-nonsense.
Also, T-Bug was found dead, fried in her dock/station. It's unlikely that she was targeted by Soulkiller, however. Nothing hints to it and it otherwise would be an additional good opportunity (CDPR would have) missed later on the game, similiar to Jacky's "return".
Thank you Studio Trigger for standing up to CDPR to keep Rebecca in Edgerunners.

If you see a guy that looks like an actor or an anarchist that, quite literally, nuked the city, do you think of the silver screen, or the millions killed in atomic fire?
Because if John Cena had a PMC lookalike that got his hands on dirty bombs and used them?
Every time I see Cena on screen I'm thinking of the Armageddon causing PMC goon.

Fun fact, Muamar Reyes and mr. Blue eyes actually have identical faces, the hairstyles and eyes just do such a good job of differentiating the two its hard to tell. I am 101% sure this is not an in universe thing, Muamar Reyes is not exactly shrouded in mystery, and has his own history thats been fleshed out more in the 2.0 update. But its a fun and really odd detail.

I like to think that the coneheads were inspired by the "developed humans" in the universe of "The three stigmata of Palmer Eldritch", a novel of Philip K. Dick where there's Leo Bulero (and other humans in that novel's universe) that had enhanced their cognitive skills with the "E-therapy"
You might find interesting that the developer's room code 60 51 85, if interpreted as decimal values for ASCII characters (it is a decimal keypad you're typing it on) translates to "
No way Rebecca is 20, another "looks 12 but definitely of legal age" case in anime. No wonder they wanted to change her design.
I mean, I'd watch a Battlefield 2042 anime
Same, I was one of the guys who had no better things to do other than make jokes about Cyberpunk's bugs.
But honestly, since the launch I've always considered the game to be one of my favourites in terms of aesthetic and visuals. The game absolutely nails that 90's futuristic aesthetic and was probably the one reason that made me hopeful for its future.
The game looks almost magical during night time.
Also I hate how Halo with an anime artstyle could actually fit the aesthetic and work if done right.
I need it.
Play it now nigga
@gibleyman the Halo Legends anime exists, though I'm not sure of the quality of the material
48:04 personally i think the archangel song could have been used for an interaction with Johnny about him commenting that he was composing a song but he never had the time to actually finish it or publish it. Bonus points if Johnny would actually sing it for us or play it on his guitar
It's strange how much little details this game has, it had the weirdest release possible, but you can tell there's a lot of love behind it
