Nice! That was our Me-262 in the opening! Also our F-100 Super Sabre as well. Lone Star Flight Museum had their B-25J "Doolittle Raiders" there. Vietnam War Flight Museum had their T-A4J Skyhawk, A-1D Skyraider, and Mig-15 on the hot ramp too.
Much much smaller. I was happy to see a P-40 take off during Tora Tora Tora again and not just the T6 Texan/"P36" but during the "Fighters" air display there was only the 2 bearcats and the P40. , No P-51s/thunderbolts (Would love to see the Razorback Bonnni) or Hellcats etc. I missed last year but this is my first time not seeing a B17 there (RIP Texas Raiders and crew) and there were no B24s or B29s to offset their absence. I know B-17 Thunderbird that has been before is under a deep resto and sometimes others are down for maintenance but i hope the lack of warbirds is a one year only deal. A P51 did show up for the F-16 heritage flight. I still appreciate all the work all the crews put in to get them there and in the air.
This year is probably the least planes i have seen since 2009, i am not sure why this is happening, back in 2010 the show was non stop planes from start to finish
@@travelnhistory even static current military displays were missing. No Eagle/viper/growler statics like years past years. The C17 had to pull out etc. Still had tons of fun but hopefully it was just a down year.
Like the video, but since you go every year, why not take the time to learn about the types, mfgrs, model numbers and 'names'? It'd go a long way to help those who don't know. By the way, an authentic Zero has a slimmer rear fuselage than the AT-6 'Texans' trainers that were superficially modified to look in general appearance like a Zero. 👍
I would love to meet you at Wings Over Houston 25 and tell you and teach you everything I know about these planes. You are close on some, but way off on others, but I can tell you love these old Warbirds!
That would be awesome sir, i am no expert but i am very passionate about aviation in general, i go to these Air Shows for andrenaline, content and pleasure really 😊
You can't have gone every year since 2009 and never saw the me262 because this very one was there in 2005 and I have a picture with the pilot, dressed in full german uniform (not exact uniform) standing together on the wing, so it was there already prior

I am no expert, just super passionate, thank you for the great info
just awesome, thank you...
It was my pleasure
Hey man, we talked about the Corsair on Saturday and just saw this pop up on my feed! Nice to meet you and keep up the great work!!
Heyyyyyy whats up man, thank you so much, i am trying to build something on YT and Tiktok, the more content the better...whos knows
It’s a shame there wasn’t a Corsair at the show. Still one of my favorite aircraft
I appreciate the thorough warbird walk through. I didn’t get to make it to wings this year. Warbird turnout seems smaller than years passed

@ The b17 thunderbird is getting a name change to We The People. The mid America flight museum recently acquired it
