Naproxen always works better for me than ibuprofen, Tylenol or motrin.

I don't know why I enjoy these videos so much, they're very relaxing.
Here in the UK Naproxen is prescription only. I was shocked to find it was freely available when I was in the US, and available in such large bottles containing hundreds of pills. Same for Paracetamol/Acetaminophen and Ibruprofen. Here we're limited to a single box containing 30 pills or so.

@Route-66 barefoot I don't know, I don't make the rules. It just is.
Codeine and dihydrocodeine is available OTC here and not in the US. Drugs are classed differently in different countries.

@Route-66 barefoot naproxen can kill. It is very strong. And has a high chance for heart attack and stroke. You will always hear heart attack and stroke when you hear the word naproxen

bought some naproxen from pharmacy after injury. they wanted to give me tylenol, naproxen and finally some oxycodone incase the others wouldn't work and the pain was too high. well, i didn't take the tylenol cause i already had some at home. looking back now i probably shouldn't of taken the naproxen either because i had some advil at home and it seems like they are just about the same. man i don't like nsaids. my stomach always get beat up by them. (the doc told me to take with food or else i would get stomach ache, i forgot i guess my fault) geez should of just stuck with the oxycodone until the pain inevitably went down. that seemed to be a lot more agreeable with my current temporary situation. just until i got healed up of course. i'm writing this just in spite of the prescription that i got. i could of saved some dough if i just took the oxycodone and went on my merry way. i guess i will be more aware next time around. i mean i know its not much but still i never did like wasting my money in any way, shape or form.

Hi Dr. Ken. I got two severe gout attacks last year (Aug, then Nov) lasting 10-12 days treated with Cochine. Now I have a “mini flare” every month lasting around 3 days. Revamped diet to mostly Fish and Veg. My Dr. Switched treatment from cochine to naproxen. Holding off on treating with Allupirinol. Explanation? I’m wondering why but hard to get answers during Covid lockdown. Thank you.

I generally take ibuprofen, which my hematologist says is a no no, as I'm on eliquis for a blood clotting disorder. I've had 1 DVT and 2 episodes of PEs. Tylenol just doesn't work. So I'm trying my naproxen sodium. I'm taking 4 220mg tabs just when it can't stand the pain. I don't know what else to do. I had been taking about 24 200mg ibuprofen a day. I was recently in the hospital and complained of RUQ pain. An ultrasound showed possible cholelithiasis. This would be in my common bile duct as I had a chole in 1977. The RUQ pain is so severe I can hardly stand it and thanks to the opioid crisis I don't know what to do. I'm using my Klonopin and Ambien for sin control taking 30mg of zolpidem at a time. zim searching for guidance. I don't know what to do. I had an EGD and was found to have and AVM in the antrum of my stomach. I was just in the hospital with osteomyelitis and my Hgb and hct went from 10.6 and 32 to 8.4 and 26.7 when I left. I can't eat due to RUQ pain. My Dr has prescribed Bentyl. it helps minimally. I am 65 today, have low BP, have a history of gi bleeds, don't smoke or drink. My hematologist is upset with me. I'm rolling on my bed in agony. What to do? I'm having coal black stools. No liver disease. I was an RN. I have a cough starting. I'm scared. Help.😢😢😢🐱
