The Swiss Army knife of cordless saws 👍🏻. It would be interesting to see how square the cuts were considering no swivel base, particularly on the thicker materials 👍🏻
Nice review 👍. I've already got the 20V jigsaw and sabre saw and they are cracking bits of kit. It's about time Parkside did a 20V router and then I'd have every option covered 👍.
Thanks Rob, that looked surprisingly good and if you're already on the battery platform it's a no brainer ! Ideally you'd have one of each saws but if you can only afford one or have limited space this could be a good compromise I guess ! Always fun, so thanks again !
Thanks to your recommendation, I bought the Parkside clamp and guide rail. Very impressed, exactly what I have been looking for. Used it already and very pleased. Cheers 👍
The impact driver, drill and that saw are brilliant. I use the saw all the time, I don’t use a handsaw at all now. I cut timber in the sabre position. I’ve also used it to trim trees branches. I’d recommend it. If your going to cut loads a Circular saw might be better, but for a quick cutting on odd jobs, it’s the tool for the job.
I got the corded Parkside Jigsaw for 30 GBP, so that is a really good deal. Not had a chance to do too much with it, just a slot for my sharps bin made from two sake cups. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Rob, I bought one of these last year (since then I have bought seperate Parkside X20 Jigsaw and X20 Sabresaw). I think that for a DIYer this is a fantastic saw. I have used it to cut bits of wood and also used it in the garden to carry out the odd bit of pruning. By the way they also do a X20 Battery chainsaw (last time it came around I think it was £60-70). But this is graet at what i have used it for and useful when I opo and see my Mum or sister as I only need to take the and the drill with me and they cover the majority of bits that I may get asked to do - you know the comment "oh, while your here could you just / would you mind looking at ?". Cracking video as ever. Cheers.
Hi Rob, Tidy Parkside jigsaw and sabre saw, just the job looks like your happy with it, going to Lidl is not like going to the supermarket it's like going to a tool warehouse but with big savings, nice... Good demonstration and showing what it can do and does it with ease that is a quality tool for little money. As always a great video, catch you soon mate, take care
nice review of the saw there rob ...... the way your buying aka collecting you might need another shed to store them all in :) especially like the twist and lock feature for the blade like you said its a bleep having allen head screws and over time the bleep head rounds it self ( well did for me ) and like someone else said rather envious of the tools you are able to buy cant seem to get that brand in new zealand and if we could they wouldnt be your price range - a black and decker 18v drill with 1.5ah battery and charger will set you back $99nz and thats just a example of how much were ripped off - but on the plus side if something breaks down stores by law are required to fix / refund / replace and it doesnt matter if the warrenty has expired
@anaestheticuk9867 I've even looked to see if I could buy them online. But it appears that the tools are available online in many countries just not here in the UK. Thanks 👍👍👍
@@anaestheticuk9867 I have 5 or 6 Lidl's to try in a 10 mile radius, the one in the posh area often has fewer to start with as not popular with their usual customers, so a better chance of finding one there quite often, the working class area shops have more but sell out pretty much in the first few hours IME.
Nice bit o kit that! Not on that battery platform and I shortly ago invested in a corded jigsaw. Guess I'm old school cause I'm not that fussed with the pendulum option. Thanks for posting. Take care & stay safe.
Don't think it does, but does the trigger lock open? If it does that could be proper useful (without a blade in it) as a standing vibration thingy if you're messing with plaster, silicon or resin deep casts to get the bubbles to rise.
Hi Rob I'm running out of room have so much parkside tools i have a 16x12 shed with lots of cupboards but still running out of room think I need to add onto the shed 😅
Not gonna lie rob I've seen this before but looks to weird I couldn't 😂. Oh you no you can buy 100mm jigsaw blades there amazing. You bought the parkside table saw didn't u that's the big review?🤔🤔🏴👍
I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now when you say you’ll buy them from Lidl or Aldi are they put on Line straightaway because our local shops don’t have any DIY at all or are you buying them online? Thank you, Gary.
Three year warranty completely pointless on any electric tools brought from Lidl or Aldi because they don’t do spare parts for these tools if they go wrong they will send them back and eventually come back offering you a new tool if they still even make the total at the time or a refund You cannot get spare parts for Harley anything that Parkside make the warrant is only good as long as they’re still got the tool in the stores and they can change it outside of that it’s pointless trust me. I’ve been there and I know they even tried to fuck me off with a voucher for the store so instead of getting another tool I could buy some bread with the money stay well clear of this rubbish at least by a entry level main brand tall at least you can get spare parts for them

If obviously you are not a professional tool user then this guy is as good as it gets 👌.
Cheers
Bought one of those as my 25 year old jigsaw got a little banged up. Cut through 4x4 old fence posts with no bother. Spot on!
Great to hear pal 👍, cheers Rob

Cheers Adrian.. great to hear your feedback, it helps us all.. and yes I get the same question 😂 while you’re here can you just… 😂 cheers mate
Love it, I was surprised how well it cut the tubular metal.
Me too 😃 cheers
Really enjoy watching your videos

Cheers buddy.. yes I Go straight to the tool section.. get bread on the way to the till 😂👍 cheers
Brilliant if you can get the batteries !! Ain't the case where I stay plenty of tools in shop ,not a battery to be seen 😢.
You need to ask at the till, they store them out the back in a secure cage now as they were a popular target for theft.
As suggested, ask at the till .. they store them out back , cheers 👍
We've started calling the young lad at work "cordless" because we can only get about 1/2 hours work out of him.
If he ever gets into trouble with the police, perhaps he'll be charged.
😂😂👍brilliant

👍👍👍. I have to say I am rather envious of the tools you are able to buy at lidl's. My local Lidl has a VERY small selection of tools😔. Thanks Rob
Same here. Either they go very quickly when I'm not there or they never stock them..

@@neiljohnuk Too posh for Parkside? 😂
@@anaestheticuk9867 Some Lidl store managers in high income areas seem to think so.
Good review👍👍I always use a down cutting jigsaw blade it makes it easier when following lines cheers rob
Cheers Rod , great tip 👍
@@WeekendShedHead Take care if you use a downcut blade... you need to put a lot more downward pressure on the tool, or it'll skip & jump about

I was corded for a while.. but once you start getting cordless, it’s so much easier , take care and cheers Doug 👍👍
That's not a bad little tool.
😉👍 cheers
Hi Rob, I see you fixed your cutting mat lol , good video mate 🤙🏼🇦🇺
Joe from Australia 🤙🏼🇦🇺
Hi Joe.. I let gravity do its thing 😂👍 cheers Rob
Another good video ! I thought the gig saw looked a bit awkward with the motor sticking out on the side👍
On reflection yes it is a bit awkward.. but still has its place , big thanks David 👍 cheers Rob

😂😂 I know the feeling mate! .. cheers
Parkside tools are manufactured by Einhell.
👍 cheers
What was the view of the blade in jigsaw mode like if you need to cut an accurate square hole ?
Seemed good.. but I may do a follow up video , cheers Rob
Hi, I've only ever used my late Dad's Black & Decker jigsaw - What's the Pendulum thing about then ?
pendulum gives it some wibble, so harsher and wider aggressive cut
Helps stop the blade jamming
Hi buddy, a bit more aggressive on the cut . Cheers Rob
Being an expert on Parkside, are the batteries compatible to Makita 28 volt please?
You can by an adaptor on e-bay from China to use the Parkside 20v on Makita 18v (actually 20 when charged) tools.
@@neiljohnuk Thanks, I meant the other way round, Makita 18 v on Parkside tools
@@stevesedgwick5789 Not seen one, yet.
Very much doubt buddy .. I need to research battery compatibility’s and make a video.. I’ll get studying 😉👍 cheers Rob
Hi mate, never used a jigsaw. How much force are you using to drive the saw to cut?
Almost nothing, gentle pressure cuts better anyway, in my experience keeping it straight is harder work
Hi mate, not much at all.. gently in my experience, keeping the base plate flat .. but always check instructions 😉 cheers Rob
Not gonna lie rob I've seen this before but looks to weird I couldn't 😂. Oh you no you can buy 100mm jigsaw blades there amazing. You bought the parkside table saw didn't u that's the big review?🤔🤔🏴👍

no not a table saw 😉 coming soon 👍 cheers Rob
