I saw this game being shown as an exhibit at my art museum where people could play it together on a bunch of computers and even through a projector. I went to that museum again a year later (about two weeks ago today), and it was still an exhibit.
Simply put, this game is a work of art.
I actually remember playing this when I was a kid. This game is amazing, brings back so much memories.
Love the game. I use it as a shining example of indigenous artwork in my college courses. Thanks for an amazing job.

Spirit of the North on PS5 is somewhat similar. Only difference is there's absolutely no direction given. You are a fox who's gotta figure it the hell out. No words, no narration, nothing. But it's visually stunning.

Played it, like it. definitely worth $14.99 @steam. I like the video clips(owls) Packed with Inuit nuggets of knowledge. I liked the use of natures elements to traverse the side scrolling terrain.
Finally got it on sale 9 years later.
My 7 yr old daughter, who was not born when this game came out, and I saw this game on display at MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York yesterday (2023). She was amazed by this breathing artwork. What she learned about Inuit people and their culture in ten minutes is way more than what she learned at her school. Especially the supplementary materials in the game really expanded entertainment to education. Thank you so much for your great work!
This game is the awesomest, and not just for kids. For anyone who want to remember and re-learn our relationship to the land, which right now the world can really use. I am so grateful to inupiaq culture for this gift to all of us.

Reminds me of Aurora and Igniculus, when i see the girl and her white fox.
When she is blown away by the wind i remember how i used to get blown away by the wind sometimes when flying with Aurora and Igniculus in Child of Light.
I remember when Aurora parted ways with Igniculus and her other companions to go and face that witch, dude, i'm too soft...
Or when she was trapped in the cage and was all alone, and then she played that flute...

This is what great games are made of, for me, when you get involved with the characters and play in a beautiful story, it's like reading a good book but where you actually control the character and stuff... i just love this kind of thing!!
More games like these, more platformers, more beautiful stories, more FEELS!!

bought it the first minute I saw it in steam. Now I blame myself each second for doing so, because I wanted to play it with my girlfriend when she arrives for Christmas holidays and as it's already installed on my PC - its so hard to wait :( I dont know whether the game is so cute and touchy as it appears, but the trailers are AMAZING!

I played the game, and while i really like to be based on a different culture and having the documentary videos, i had several problems with its mechanics.
Several times the AI partner died because it missed a fairly simple jump, or my character died because it was teleported to outside of the screen.

I usually skip the intro story because it's always the same(evil force rises up, takes over the land and now we bring you to the hero's journey)bullshit. This intro story was original and compelling.
