I am getting coffee tomorrow to try this. I have been using Javy coffee microdose concentrated takes one teaspoon to make a cup of coffee or iced coffee. However, it reminds me of Starbucks and I'm not loving the flavor. I have a mocha bottle and an original bottle I haven't even opened yet.
Yeah its probably not ideal if you're going light, but it makes great coffee if you're doing some car camping or just doing a quick night or two in the woods. Thanks for watching!
If you care to you can simply do some calculations and get it down to the size of a teaspoon for a pretty good sized cup of coffee or iced coffee. Like I said before I have a bottle that uses one teaspoon and it's not bad it just isn't unlike Starbucks enough for me. Each bottle makes 30 cups of coffee at one teaspoon each. I was looking for something like that when I ran across this. This would be fine for me as well. :-)
Hey. I completely agree. There are hundreds of “how to” coffee options when hiking out there. I do cold brew at home, but not concentrate. 200ml, or about 7 ouches (if my head conversion is correct), per cup. So I just add a bit of water to it. But for hiking a heavy concentrate is the way to go. Not that I have done it, but for a trip more than two days I would boil the concentrate down. If anyone has done that please tell me, does it affect the taste much?
Sorry for the late response. i would say that this method does affect the taste. i find that the coffee is a bit more rich in flavor. I like mine that way, so i guess it all depends on how you like yours. You can always scale down the concentrate if its too strong. I find that this method creates a more precise way to get your desired taste.
Dude I’m gonna try this instead of buying coffee concentrate! Thank you!!
you're welcome! i hope it works for you! :)

Awesome! Let me know how it turns out, and as always you can modify it to your tastes.
Great idea !
Thank you! Just sharing information as I come across it! I do love my coffee! :)
Awesome!! I’ll have to give this a try. Thanks for sharing.
It works well for me, and the coffee tastes great. A very rich, smooth flavor. Let me know how it works for you! Thanks for watching!
First time I have seen this... Interesting but I certainly don't need any more extra weight... But a very cool idea.

Are you meaning that one pound of coffee makes 48 cups?? It seems a little flipped there and I didn't get it or maybe I did! :-)
Its been a while since i made the video, but that does sound correct. If you use this recipe i mean. Give or take a few cups.
