I have that same steam cleaner! I tried the cleaner and I love it! I wanted to share with you that I actually use the tank to spray my couch too! That way I didn’t have to squeeze spray. I rinsed and filled the tank with water only after 15m. It worked great! I hope that helps so you can continue this process. ❤️
Maybe try cleaning his ears. I think that what fixes it for my basset hounds. Store brands I have found to be a waste of time and effort. Trizultra+Keto is good stuff.
I know this post was a long time ago, but the corn chips smell is actually their feet! My vet said that their feet actually do sweat alot more than what we think, thus creating that funky smell. Especially if you wait too long between baths. I noticed it one day on my white pit as well, sure enough it was her feet. I started washing their paws every other day or so and this really took down that smell.
Girl, you're a champ. As an avid dog lover and owner I gotta say, ain't nobody got time for this lol. I love my fur babies to death but that's why they got dog beds on the floor. Respect your efforts though. Learned quite a bit.
My dog has 2 beds one in my bed and one in the kitchen . cleaning hair in the car and vacuuming every other day is enough. I don't let my fur baby in my bed or couch. He is exceptionally clean. He get a bath monthly and conditioner. I dry him with a clean towel after getting rained on and I use wet wipes in between baths to clean him. I wear gloves to clean his backside with the Glandex wipes. T hats enough. Monthly I sprinkle a box of baking soda on carpet before bed and vacuum it up in the morning. I use downy unstoppable to wash his 2 beds after his monthly bath. Enough okay?
My roommate got a Pit without asking me first, and gives zero care for her. I’ve definitely got time for this if it keeps that god forsaken smell out of our apartment.

I just took my covers off my couch cushions & put them in the washer. Then hung them up out side. I’m hoping the back arms of rest of the couch doesn’t have that dog pet smell. Plus I hope i didn’t ruin the cushion covers when I washed them. I’m hoping they didn’t shrink. But if I did ruin them, then maybe I get to have new couches. Thank you for your great info. Great job!! Our little rescue loooooooooooves to cuddle on the couch with us, but he also likes to lick his paws, which leaves a sloppy mess. We solved the problem by using an extra large waterproof blanket. It's cozy and TOTALLY 100% waterproof. No more issues with smells, stains, claws -- it's the best!

Im about to spray inner cushions down. Sprinkle w baking soda... and see if it helps... I use to just stuff inner cushions w laundry sheets... not enough

My mom and I used to do this Every Saturday! Home maker religion right here. It literally destroys furniture fibers so fast using those 'little green clean machines'. We used to rent those carpet cleaners from the grocery stores too and burned through some seriously expensive furniture trying to keep them clean. Thanks for memory lane. I do $600 couches now on hardwood and keep it simple.
My dogs know they are not allowed on the sofas unless I call them up. When I’m sitting down they just look at me anxiously for the magic word “up” lol I put their blanket and they understand that’s their spot. Dogs need boundaries...
We had an indoor dog but she became and outdoor dog when we got our German Shepherd.. I didn't realize the puppy smell we had until she had been out of the house for a while! I'd come home from work and not smell her. This sure would have helped!! Great video 😉

It's probably odor free for a few hours, but as long as you let the animals on the furniture, you will have to repeat your great efforts. Over and over until the couch is destroyed. Using covers or dog beds sounds easier.
Hi Kelly very hard and good job I hate this type of cleaning although I do it U can wash the pillow one by one or 2by 2 in the bun every long time and then put it in the sun to dry That will remove the bad ouder 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

I wonder if you could mix your odor cleansing solution in the spot cleaner machine and use it to spray on the couch instead of wearing your hand out by using the spray bottle.

This does absolutely nothing to get the smells out of the cushions which absorbent qualities hold odors. But thanks for demonstrating how to clean the outside materials for surface odors.
We have a new sofa similar to yours that we need to clean because of our pooch as well. The tag on bottom cushion cover says do not machine wash, is that a CYA or do you just wash cold and air dry to minimize shrinking?
Hi Kelly I also haves dogs to I wash dog blankets there bed I table vinegar tsp with your soap . I also use towels rugs. Spray bottle 1/4 vinegar rest water also one favorite essential oil around rugs dogs want pee dogs dogs like smell find dogs will not pee. Am new to Terrisotelo Fontana ca 🤓😃💕

Jennifer Lynn cornchip smell can mean yeast. If you wash him in a 50/50 vinegar mix that might eliminate that smell as it eliminates the yeast.

Just got one with leather and can't remove the cushions, so im guessing leaving baking soda on it will have to do with some febreze spray.

i use a lint roller to get any cat fur off my couch, even though i keep a sheet over the top of it when im not using it the fur seems to travel lol

the product has to be shaken to keep the minerals suspended so it's probably better to do the bottle

Guuurl you should get you a pump sprayer, like one used for chemicals! Way less time consuming and save your hands!
For under the cushion put the vacuum
up there. The rollers will do a better job than that hand tool.
I remove the cover and put in washing machine. I have a couch that is more than 16 yrs old, all I do is wash it.
