Ever imagine what it was like at "Be our Guest" for Emma Watson? It was completely CGI. She had to sit and stare at an empty table with choreography. She'd better get an Oscar.
She's been known for being very bubbly onset so she was told to lower her excitement for Be Our Guest,it makes more sense since it's Belles first night in the castle and she just lost her father,I mean releastically who's gonna be suffer perky in that siutuation,but she does smerk in the scene,she smiles at the "grey stuff",at Mrs.Potts,when Lumiere offers her pudding.
I can't stop watching all these Behind the scenes videos of Beauty and the beast. I am still not over this movie. So beautiful!! So glad this wasn't a let down like the other live adaptations.

I know the dress didn’t really met most of our expectations but I think the design of it was made so it can look beautiful and flowy while belle and beast were dancing. Wished it was fuller or bigger but gotta say I have most respects for those who put down much work on this art! Thank you for bringing my childhood into life!
Actually the dress was a fail for the movement too. If you pay attention to the ball scene, about 80% of movements of the skirt are CGI, even when she stands up, some creases are still in movement in a pretty unnatural way. Some moments are specially noticeable, the dress looks like another digital element, and even the color changes( to a very bright yellow). So basically they did a oversimple( and ugly to me) version of the dress with no "flowy" movement at all by itself. What's the point then?
my mom kept commenting on how terrible the costumes looked... In my opinion all the costumes were beautiful and I have so much respect to the designers,the actors,and the crew I think they did an awesome job in this movie..I don't care about everyone's negative comments on this movie
Really? The costumes were amazing! Colourful, beautiful, close to accuracy, everything! All the actors looked amazing in them and it really helped set the scene of 18th century France. As a history buff who is really into the fashion of those olden days, the costumes wowed me!
