  • Video of a group of brothers and their cousins channel surfing on April 15, 1998:
    tvtango.com/listings/1998/04/15
Seinfeld and Spin City seem to be the choice of shows. Not bad I think anyway.
Also, ads for Blockbuster, Kmart and that awful famous dancing baby commercial.
This video last around 12 minutes.

This channel is amazing, but I'm so weirded out by the videos of families watching tv / movies / playing videogames .... like ... who was filming? And why? Why the weird zoom-ins? And was everyone instructed to pretend like they didn't notice / know about the camera? And OMG the creepy lurking outside the window shots? And the videos seem to have been going for HOURS?????? WHAT IS THIS?!

This footage doesn't even look like it's from the 90s, with the exception of the CRT TV. The technology used to record this must've been expensive back then...

You can totally tell it was filmed in the 90s.

The tv looks like it’s from the late 80’s in terms of design imo

Hey hey, Seinfeld is on! I used to watch that show as a kid actually. Wasn't that bad.
Loved those days in the late 90s. No smart phones yet. The family and I would watch TV almost every evening.
