A stunning, breathtaking, scenic Dorset MTB ride with friends on epic cross country trails around the Isle of Purbeck. Cycling from Poole, Dorset, we took a short ride on the Sandbanks ferry, then taking in all the beautiful scenery, past Corfe Castle, then we saw a steam train at Swanage Railway, just before arriving at Swanage beach. We rode a super steep hill (27% gradient!) along the steep Jurassic coastline cliffs up and over to Old Harry Rocks. The sea views here are incredible.
Lots of off road trails, plenty of hills and some fast loose rocky descents! The sun was shining 🌞and we had an awesome day. This was an epic adventure!
We had so much fun, there were smiles for miles and laughs all day long. I almost crashed as we rode through the sandiest path I have ever seen, and we were ambushed by a herd of crazy cows, buck-a-rooing down the hill!

This Purbecks bike ride took in the best of the the Wareham & Corfe in Dorset. Scenic Swanage, including Swanage Railway with its Steam Train, and Swanage Beach. The best in Purbecks cycling.

Next time go across the golf course on the way back to the ferry and take in franks tank as awesome singletrack 👍🏻
