  • Here's some of our favourite fossils, the gorgeous Nautilus in the cover photo for this video is a Calcified Nautilus! This is an insight into the past, what life was like 180 Million Years Ago even before many of the most famous land-dwelling Dinosaurs ever existed. Now, turned to stone, these fossils are falling from their stoney resting place of the cliffs and onto our beaches. Follow us along on our fossil and coastal adventures!

    Sat watching your videos and I thought how come I recognise your face then I see who must be your dad . You gave me a lift from Runswick to port Mulgrave and either you or your brother said " dad can you remember the last person we kidnapped " haha luckily for me you're a nice family , cheers for the lift 👍

    - I cannot believe that I have just learned about your channel. A subscriber of mine commented on a recent video and recommended I check you out. I have watched through a few of your videos tonight and have been smiling all the way through. I’m from that area originally and grew up playing around the areas you show in the videos. Brilliant job with the channel, the camera work and the fossils. Subbed up and look forward to watching more. 👍🏻😊

    • @chubbrock659
      @chubbrock659 4 года назад +1

      @@BlGGESTBROTHER there is so much to see and do, definitely make a trip if you can! the southern part of the state is where the red sandstone formations are, like arches national park, near moab, it's a must see.

    • @BlGGESTBROTHER
      @BlGGESTBROTHER 4 года назад +1

      @@chubbrock659 Awesome. I'm convinced now that I should go. So far my list of places to visit is Kolob, Grand Staircase NM, Goblin Valley, Valley of the Gods, Fossil Mountains, The Salt Flats, and Zion. Any other places you would say are a must see while I'm in state?

    • @chubbrock659
      @chubbrock659 4 года назад +1

      @@BlGGESTBROTHER those are all great locations and a relatively short drive from each other, other than the salt flats, they are in northern Utah. If you can make it over to Lake Powell, that is an amazing place in southern Utah, especially if you had a chance to rent a boat and fish and ski, it is like no place on earth. If you do make it to northern Utah, the great salt lake has an Island in it called Antelope Island with bison, huge deer, coyotes and antelope, this is close to the Salt Flats. It's a great place to spend a day sightseeing and checking out some cool animals. If you like architecture, downtown Salt Lake City has Temple square, the headquarters for the Mormon church and has some interesting sites and history.
