I guarantee you're not the only chef who forgets things on RUclips. You're just the only one who has the balls to own up to it. All the rest edit that stuff out.
Well, ALMOST all the rest. There are a few others that don't. Pretty much the only ones I watch, as a result. Because I only respect those who can admit when they goofed up, and do so graciously.
So, hats off to you Chef JP.
Did CJP just eat Jack's lunch(ha-ha)?
@Ithecastic Well, that's endearing.
@@robertakerman3570 he did
Um...well 1st he's not making doughnuts....js...second there's no question of this level of cooking and to have a blooper is unheard of at this level.
@@randypullman1155 Oh well
You treat food as if it is a work of art, and it is. The care you use when preparing a plate is something to appreciate.
If you ever want to see normal people like you and me tear food like a work of art, go to a McDonald’s in Japan. You’ll be upset because you won’t have any cheese paper on the wrapper, and your single pickle will be right in the center of the burger. And everything will look like the image that made you want to get McDonald’s at Japan in the first place.
Chef, I had tough last 12 months and I discovered this channel few weeks ago. Got me out of depression and I got will and urge to cook. Thank you, you are cooking with passion and your videos make my day. I started buying ingredients and making dish after work is highlight of my day and something I look forward to :)
Good for you Nikola! Keep cooking my friend.
Ya me too,I've started cooking after work too. Never alone bro, just reach out,if you'd like to talk
Whenever I put on a Chef JP video, food is all I can think about. 😮
I love how you tell people it's okay not to have stuff and do their best. I have made some of my most delicious meals with what I decided to throw together.
Constantly inspired by Chef’s subtle life lessons intertwined in his cooking: “Don’t touch it. Don’t go playing with it. Don’t play with it. You know a lot people tell ya you gotta play with it. No. I’m telling you you don’t. Leave it alone. Leave it alone.” Thank you Chef💚
Nm😂😂j. . 🎉I n . J
😂😂😂
Gotta luv that life lesson. I don’t go playing with it anymore. 😂😂😂
I am so glad I found the Chef! Every video teaches me something and his attitude is amazing!
Chef, your videos are never too long. I could sit and watch you cook for hours. In fact, in the world of 5 second clips that we now live in, I very much appreciate you taking the time to show everyone how to actually cook! 😁
A half-Italian French chef in America makes a pepper steak burrito with harissa aioli (made with Duke's) and brie? That's like 6 cuisines fused together, and I want to lick the screen. I can't wait to make these.
I love this channel. As great as chef J-P is, it’s worth pointing out the production value on this channel is outstanding too. How can you not laugh a little when chef is cleaning off his cutting board and the close up of his face when he eats the scrap of steak? That’s priceless
I just love this man… I love his enthusiasm… I love his passion for his food… I love his laugh… Most of all, I love his food!😊
You’re def not the only chef that forgets stuff, you just don’t go through 4 days of editing it out lol. Great recipe chef.
Last week I made a big batch of cinnamon rolls and forgot the cinnamon!
@@bumbleguppyYou made a batch of rolls!
@@oddunb6190 in my defense, they had a lot of butter
Guilty
A bought a coffee from Tim Horton's the other day - all I got was cream and sugar - they FORGET THE COFFEE!
Never stop taking the huge bite Chef, it's half the reason I watch.
I love learning from you. If you make a mistake and show it, beginners like me feel less intimidated. I hope that makes sense 🤷🏼♀️ that burrito looks wonderful!
@@livvyweimar7362 🙏🏻thank you ! My family is also thoroughly enjoying my new found cooking skills thanks to Chef 💕
Lord Pierre is an all American Hero. His love of sharing these cooking techniques has taken my cooking to a whole new level.
This evening in Dallas, I made your dish for ten at my home. Every single one of the guests said it was the best burrito they had ever had! "How did you learn this?" they asked. Chef JP. I made other vegetables in the wok on the side Onyo is always number 1! I would love a recipe for rice from Spain. Here it is, junk. Quack tomato sauce and salt. Not right. Prime Flank Steak was all I had but it worked like you said it would. Perfect outcome. I took it out after measuring the temperature carefully and 132F. Medium Rare (you never know what people like).
They could not understand why the sauce was so good. Heh Heh He. Trade secret! They did not know (nor did I) what aioli sauce was.
Not that many Americans cook at home anymore preferring to eat junk food. I haven't gone to a restaurant in 1.5 years! Once I found your channel it changed my life. Now I do all the cooking. Everyone else who comes I say, "Get outta my kitchen!: Or as you say, "You people go set the table." Then I can cook. In addition to cool recipes, you have taught me very many BASIC skills that I never have known. I have all the knives, pots, oils, and seasonings you suggest. You teach us to THINK. You are not a robot. Neither am I. THINK! Does it taste nice? No? Try again! After four times you say one is a chef on that recipe. We love you, Chef!
🙏🙏🙏👍😊
You have really raised the quality of our meals, and I daily field this question from my husband--what Chef Jean-Pierre teach you today 'cause the aroma is wonderful! I would like to share an observation you might want to pass along to your viewers. I recognize there are no children in your kitchen when you are making the videos. However, many home cooks have little ones underfoot, especially when they're hungry and sniffing the wonderful smells your recipes create. For their safety, it's important the pan handles be turned toward the range and never extending over the edge and accessible to the kids. Thank you, Chef, for the cooking lessons and recipes. My family are big fans!
Wow - this looks so damn good!!!! Thank you, maestro!
Chef, watching you brings such Joy to my life! God Bless !
I love how neat and clean you are as a chef and how you take time to make food look neat and proper. Too many messy chefs on RUclips. Thank you! You’re an inspiration ❤
I made these and they are wonderful! I had 2 skirt steaks each about the size of a saucer. I cooked 1 of them to med rare and 1 to medium. The medium rare was amazing! The medium while still very tasty wasn’t as good as the medium rare. Thanks Chef.
Love your show , all of my 64 years living in the southwest I would call this the Pebble Beach Burito.
I love how he loves his own cooking and samples as he goes--I do the same thing when I cook! In fact, I'm usually full by the time dinner is ready.
I don’t know what I like best, watching Chef make the food or watching him eat it. Always an entertaining learning experience. Every video I watch I learn something new. You’re a very talented teacher. 😋
you make the simplest recipe look amazing!! I've been following your channel for a year now and because of you I cook everyday 😍 You and Jack are both amazing and what makes this channel so popular is your honesty, unedited material and both of your humour, Fantastico!! Keep up the amazing videos my friends xx
All I can think about now,is getting home and cooking this. He's absolutely amazing. Makes my day !!
3 of my favorite things. Steak. Peppers. Chef JP videos. Today is a good day.
10.25 in and listen to his excited chuckle! This guy loves food so much it’s great to see 👏🏻🥰
Looks absolutely awesome! Will be making this one very soon! I did miss a good story in today's video. Love hearing about your life and the interesting people that have been part of your journey. ❤❤ Sheri
I am making this tomorrow!
Talk about taking the burrito to the next level!
Fantastic creation, Chef 😘
WOW Chef looks like dinner tonight! Congrats 1.21M !!! WOW
I love watching Chef after he takes that big bite! Such a happy time - a man and his food...
Made these last night - absolutely delicious!! We used leftover ribeye steak - the brie was heavenly!
A mexican burrito cooked French style & served like a half-cut sushi roll. I love it
I got into cooking from watching my mom who recently passed away.
I got excited about cooking watching Alton Brown.
Now I'm honing my skills and convinced I can be a great home chef from watching you Chef JP. Thank you for putting out all this great content. I love how you explain that cooking is simple and easy and something not to stress about. I'm truly in my happy place when I'm cooking an amazing meal for my loved ones.
try out jacques pepin or martin yan as well
Alton Brown was always my favorite when I was younger. Chef JP is even better!
Always a joy watching you. Your charisma in the kitchen is always worth returning to. Eat well, Be happy, love one another.
You're the best chef on RUclips Chef JP!! You've helped me so much and I love how you go into detail and explain. Absolutely amazing!
I have to admit that I make a killer burrito Chef, very similar to yours, but the onions are flavored with pork Chorizo. That said though, any excuse to make another version of a steak burrito and you can count me in!!! Thank you as always Chef Jean Pierre, my family loves you!!!
🙏🙏🙏❤️
Another great recipe and video! Thanks I'll be trying it.
Simple. Delicious. Gorgeous.
🌯 A burrito with French techniques! 😋
Dear Chef, I’m definitely going to make this French burrito!! It looks amazing!!!
😋😋😍😍
It's fair to say, most people see something like this and think it's not worth it to do all this for yourself. Not only is it worth it, not only once you get it down to a routine this will be way easier and better than microwaving something, but you will be eager to share it with others.
Chef, Jack, and your entire team, have a Blessed Easter!
Another amazing dish Chef! I watched this and I went into my kitchen where my husband was eating lunch and the first words out of my mouth were "Well, I know what we're having next week. Chef just uploaded a new recipe and I'm going to make it because it looked so epically good!"
The final cross section looks absolutely delicious
I thought the first burrito was for JACK...hahaha...POOR JACK!!! I love how excited chef gets doing his thing. A true love for his trade. Thank you chef!!!!!!
Hahaha! He put all that extra meat in....for Jack. lol
You forget something, but that’s what makes it real! Those moments build trust and confidence that it’s not difficult and encourages us to try it as well
Just made this.....UNREAL!! absolutely world class. I added a tiny amount of Stilton. but what a simple and delicious recipe. Bravo Chef!!
That is the most elegantly made burrito I’ve ever seen put together- I should know; I’m Spanish. ¡Buen hecho Chef! ¡Bravo!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
the only thing you shouldnt forget..is your the best chef on youtube jean !
I lnow I have to make this because, for the first time in my long history of watching cooking, I have the exact ingredients for the aioli sauce. Duke’s mayo, Daisey sour cream, Grey Poupon, and Marina harissa. Exact!
Those veg looked wonderful!
We love Chef Jean-Pierre!
Greetings from Norway, this looks excellent Jean Pierre😄👌
Hello Chef JP. I made your Steak Burrito for dinner tonight. It was delicious, But my skirt steak was too thick. After cooking and resting, when I sliced into it, the centre was very “rear” and blue in some places. I had to put it back into the pan and cook it longer. After the second time, It was still rear, but we ate it anyway. Fortunately, my husband wasn’t here, because he wouldn’t have eaten it. He doesn’t like beef that is still “mooing” on his plate. lol. I don’t know if the meat was inner or outer skirt. By the way JP, I live in NSW, Australia. I only found your channel a few months ago, and get lots of giggles from you. I have also made your chocolate moose yum, yum, yum and the clarified butter. I grew up on a dairy farm in Victoria, and nothing BEATS BUTTER.
👍👍👍
I’m glad you took a big bite! It looks delicious.
So Nice to see you do a simple thing like a steak. Id like to see you upscale some junk food from time to time. Always love to see those wiggly fingers at the end.
You are absolutely a joy to watch. Wishing you all the best and keep the awesome videos coming.
You're the Champ Chef! Huge thumbsup! :)
I just love how Chef Jean-Pierre makes sumptuous dishes, Especially, when I am done working out, and his notification comes across my feed. You introduce such simplistic, yet elegant dishes. You and Jack are appreciated. Pls keep making my mouth water
OMG burritos? Are empanadas far behind? This is awesome!
I first saw the thumbnail of you cooking a burrito and I thought, what the heck? But you make that look amazing! Bravo!
You are the ONLY one who is HONEST!! Others would try and cut and redo to look like they didn’t forget which is so dishonest!! You are AMAZING and make me feel like I can cook and I can do things even if I am not perfect… LOVE YOU SO MUCH CHEF!!!!
Oh. My. Goodness. That looks terrific! 👏👏👏
These videos always fix a dull morning.
That burrito looks incredible.
Thank you, Chef, for sharing your knowledge, skill and humor with me. You are a beautiful man and you inspire me with the joy of cooking. C'est magnifique!
Chef JP
We’re originally from Spain and we’ve been in Mexico for 4 generations. You’re recipe is outstanding and delicious. I guess we’ve been doing it wrong all this time 😂. You’re making us look like amateurs when it comes to burritos! 😅
Thank you Chef. You’re videos are inspiring.
this channel is UNDERRATED, your are awesome chef jean pierre!
Thank you 🙏
2nd comment... Chef JPs videos are to teach and Inspire, unlike other chefs who just want to show off their 'skills'. Chef , please do not shorten your videos. You can make them longer if you need to.
going to do this on my new Blackstone. thanks for the idea
Jean Pierre you are just awesome! So much fun to watch. You always make my day! It’s the highlight and you always put a smile on my face. I will be making this for my family soon! Thank you always for your informative and entertaining videos!
Thank you Chef, you never cease to amaze me. As always throughly enjoy your workmanship and entertainment.
Amazing once again ! You and Jack are too fun! God Bless
Just returning to your videos, my father was a long time fan and commenter and showed me chef's channel. He recently passed away, but watching these makes me feel close to him. He loved cooking in layers how chef teaches and its turned me into a great home cook as well. Cheers and thank you Chef Jean Pierre!!!!
To the end he always said onyo 😂 not onion 😂😂
I'm sorry about your fathers passing, glad he liked to cook, and you too. Good food makes everything a little better.
this man is a legend, I try one of his recipes once every month.
I think that had to be one of the most prolonged moments of chewing your first bite! Looked insanely delicious Chef Onyo!! ❤
So glad to see Chef use Harissa in mayo; I was making my own from his recipe when I recognized Harissa would make the nicest Samurai Sauce.. it does, it does.
i just love this man, a true living legend :)
I not only learn new recipe, but also new skills in each and every video. Thanks a bunch Chef. Love you fr Malaysia...🇲🇾
I love when you put the ONYO!
OMGosh. I wanted to reach right through the TV screen and take a big bite! Forget taco Tuesday. Beef steak burrito. Chef JP style. Muy delicioso
I am salivating while watching you, AGAIN…!!!
Amazing as always, we love you chef!! 💜💜💜
And always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Chef, you truely show your love for your craft. You have taught me so much and taught me to really enjoy cooking.
As always that looks amazing Chef! Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Outstanding as usual!
Oh 😮😮😮 I love burrito even if I am French ! Thank you Chef ! Amazing
Never forget the garlic. And don't burn your mouth. I love your cooking style Chef!
The way you cut and placed that meat on top of the brie... at an angle... is the difference between a chef and a cook. You elevated that dish to a much higher level. Truly elegant. Thank you chef. I also learned how simple it is to make an aioli.
Chef JP making steak burritos. Am I in heaven?
you are not the only chef that forgets things on youtube, but your probably one of the few that admits it
We love watching your channel and learn so much from you. The foods you make are really good, because we have made many of your recipes. Oh yeah, you are funny too, we are laughing all the time watching your videos! Thanks for being a bright star in this crazy times we are living in! We have told many friends and family about you!

I knew Chef would give me a great reason to head to the store! Looks incredible!😍
My desktop is piling up with the awesome recipes you've been cranking out! THIS has to wait until NEXT weekend, but oh boy I can't wait! TY!
Wow.Burritos is a good meal in the home. That looks stunning.
Yum
Oh my another beautiful looking dish!!! Delish!! ❤
You know, i was just to rewind the video to see if i missed you to put the garlic into the Aioli... Always a pleasure to cook with you!
If MCJP needs to step out of the fabulous foundation of French cuisine to bring difficult yet ultra popular cuisine to the machine then I'm all for it! Bravo!
Love your enthusiasm help's getting me in kitchen 👍
