My favorite thing he said at the event was at the shut down lane. When Ruby and Leroy did their first ever side by side seven second pass, he got out of the car emotional and asked, "Did the crowd love it?". He truly wants everyone to have a good time.

Every time someone stopped Matt, he had a smile on his face, even when he was rushing somewhere. Definitely, if that guy found him again, that shirt got signed. He wasn't turning anyone down.

Worst came to worst, he would've either blown the engine or let off and gotten dragged out. Few compressions and some O2 and he would have been golden. I'm asthmatic and can manage the smoke just fine, it feels like you're choking but if you keep calm and focus on your breathing you'll be fine. Like he even said, it was the panic that did him in, not the smoke

When you buy all the fire fighting gear for Master Chief maybe you should also by a SCBA rig as well. Not only will it look cool as part of the truck but for burnouts in the chromino you can put on the mask so you can breath clean air while in all that smoke and keep the burnout longer. Just an idea, love the videos.

@The Weapon Collection Yeah, I know it still exists. It's just not the huge, spectacular EVENT that it used to be. Cletus, Matt, and folks like you could really bring it back. The 70's and 80's had problems, but stockcar racing wasn't one of them. NASCAR almost killed it. Glad you, and others are keeping it alive, but make it BIG again! It's, really, a family outing kind of thing. We need more of that! Families hanging out together.
Get a fire fighter helmet, with a respirator and an oxygen tank to put into the el chromino so you can breathe, and do longer burnouts.
I get what you mean, but it's not part of the helmet. It's a SCBA, self contained breathing apparatus. Most times it's call a SCOTT pack because they're a commonly used manufacturer. It's filled with triple filtered air.
He should get one for the firetruck anyways
