Ohhhhh I’m excited about this! Love the part selection and totally into it not having to be 100% production correct. $25 if you let me pick the color. Nobody picks colors better than me. I have the best eye for colors, everybody says it. I know all the best colors-tremendous colors, really. If you want the best colors, I’ll pick them. Believe me, nobody does it better. People are always amazed at the colors I pick. They say, ‘Wow, how did he do that?’ It’s incredible, really, really incredible. So how about it?
Check inside the bar ends. If it has no line on where the bars were put together, they are actually slammer bars. If it does, then they are the bars that came off a dyno compe/detour. Slammer bars don't have the double curling and no D stamp. Stan
@roberttower6 I had an 88 detour as a kid and my dad I I went to purchase her there was a chrome compe next to her but I wanted the pretzel bars so I got a blue 88 detour instead of a 89 chrome compe
Yep Stan’s right and Jesus has commented on it prior the bars could still be crmo without stamp and single knurled , all depends on if seam on inside or not. Pro bars seen single, dual, triple knurled. Stamp two locations and without. Main tell tail is seam. I’ve even got a set w seam that weighs same as pro without seam, can’t explain that but tested that out. Cool bike enjoy, yep early on I got a PFT set missing 10 fork threads off steer tube it’s all part of the hobby and like you said can be fixed 👍🏻
Love the pretzel bars! Dino is legit!
Thanks!
That's a nice find! Yeah, looks like you'll need to refinish that one for sure. But it'll look a lot better. Thanks for sharing! 🤙🏻
Thanks Kevin. Definitely some work here.
that's awesome, i'm in the middle of building a 93 Slammer.
Sweet. Send pics when its done.
Sweet slammer man. I picked up a 98 slammer for my daughter not to long ago.
Nice! 👍
Finally giving dynos some love. Maybe a 87 pc build next?🤔
Maybe..
This is gonna be a cool build, great to see you mix it up with a different bike. Looking forward to seeing the progress 🤙🤘
Thanks Kelly!

Got it. Thanks brother!
The compe did not have pretzel bars only the detour did
@@kleimbach77 your right. I just assumed because I've seen many with it. Both are lower end models made in Taiwan.
