Hi Kyle, love the shot on the stairs at the 6:11 mark. It all comes together; the pose, the expression, the flash lighting, the leading lines, and the reflections in the glass. Great work.
Hi again. If simplifying (roughly) ... 1. If model is under sun use it as a rim light (highlights ) and fill shadows with flash from same (natural looking) direction and make smoother transition between highlights and leave some shadow for contrast controlling light spill (small BD or strip even with grid). 2. If no sun (shadow or clouds) use flash to make that highlights? Did I understand correctly the basics?
Hi I’m on the fence for picking up portable flash for portrait outdoor session. I know you are an avid profoto user. But if you only can pick one light to chose between two godox : AD100 vs AD200 (considering the additional accessories and bulkiness) which one is the best?
Thanks as always! That approach with raw files without flash and flash for comparison is awesome!
Amazing video and beautiful shots! As others have said in the comments, seeing the with and without flash is beyond helpful. Thanks so much Kyle!
Thanks Kyle for the great BTS video, the shots comparing with and without flash were really helpful! Keep up the great work! Best, Kim
Thank you Kim!

Correct, but for your second point, the flash can be key light or rim light
@@KyleCongphoto thank you!
Great Video!
sweet shots!

99% of time, I use less 100ws. So Ad100 should be fine.
Great shots! Were you using high speed sync for these?
No, 3 stops ND filter
Oh nice, what kind of filter do you use?
@@kukusmano I used K&F filter, it’s a lot cheaper than those high end filters but I don’t see any difference
@@KyleCongphoto lovely, thnx🤟🏻
@@KyleCongphoto could you link it? Because I’m only finding variable ones interned of fixed nd values, thanks a lot!
Are you shooting TTL since you're constantly changing the light position, or are you just putting in a little fill and adjusting the rest in post?
I use manual mode for flash. It’s not too bad, and I like it more because it’s consistent and reliable. I always try to get the most done on camera.
Amazing
