Love your videos, very informative. When in the shade, you can tell the difference. It looks so light and compact but for that price, I have other lights I want. Thank you for these videos!
All depends on flash to ambient ratio IMHO. You can use strobes at lower powers and won't be able to tell if any strobe was used. All depends on the look you going for. Problem with LEDs is a lot less power.
Thanks, when using video light, other than “what you see is what you get”, you can also adjust the colour to make it better match the ambient. It’s more convenient.
The use of a vertical grip would be better for your health in the long run. What's the chrome lens you used for part of the shoot? Is it ok/legal to use light stands & tripods in public/ commercial places in Canada? (from some outdoor/ wilderness shoots, I thought you lived in Australia.) p.s. I enjoy this video of an actual location shoot very much. Thankx
Hi Kyle. Great video. What type of cable / charger do you use to charge the battery (Zhiyun Molus X60). I have the Zhiyun Molus X100. Can't find the right cable to charge it. Thanks.
@@KyleCongphoto Does it really matter if the lower softbox in your #3 lighting set up (beauty dish above & small square softbox below) is a 15 x 15 softbox? Can the bottom be a 24 x 24 and the top be a 24" beauty dish octa? I understand your selection is for transportation benefits with smaller modifiers. Clarifying if a 15 x 15 below was specifically for lighting quality or effect. Learning a lot from your videos and like to try new methods, thanks.
The model is very beautiful in the photos. I saw her photo in one of your previous videos with stunning posing and lightening.

I think this looks way nicer and more natural than shooting with strobes outside. Really nice results.

Super pleasant images. Great work.
Many thanks!

The lens is Zeiss Biotar 58 F2.
It’s ok for some outdoor locations in Canada but there are more places requiring permits now.

I use my MacBook cable
That little softbox looks cool. Will it fit a regular square speedlight?
I don’t think so
Was about to buy the m20c.. I think I'm going to buy this one instead. What's the tripod?
Any tripod with a ball head will work
Amazing portraits ! Love your compositions! Greetings from Uruguay.
Thanks
Nice portraits!
Which brightness % for shooting. Have you using maximum brightness?
Yes, 100% brightness at the beginning of the shoot. Down to 20% near the end.
Having a hard time finding the little light box. Is it the same brand?
Yes, it’s included in the pro combo and you can order it separately too
love your page new follower !
Great stuff, as usual.
Thanks Jason!
Can we get an idea of what your camera settings are? Shutter needs to be fast enough to avoid motion blur, and ISO can only go so high. Thanks.
Shutter speed between 1/80 to 1/200. ISO between 400-800
would you use this as a go to or the 1x3
Daytime, I will definitely use a strobe. 1x3 or 24” beauty dish

@ParaonPhotography it doesn’t matter. 24x24” for the lower one will work just fine.
I wonder why most photographers only give examples of white models but not at all on dark skin models (black models) as well....
If you need advice on photograph darker skin tones. Check my blog:
