The XCD 90V certainly looks like an awesome lens! I see other comments in regard to you featuring such high-end kit, but hey, I can't afford any of the cars they feature on Top Gear, but I still watch it to see Supercars being put to the test, and I think you do provide a balance in the kit you use. Keep up the good work!
This is just like a wet dream for me. The set you use here will cost the tidy sum of NOK 150.580,- in Norway, which corresponds to approximately GBP 11.450,- in the UK. Interesting to watch, but I miss the videos where you show your creativity within i.e. street photography, composition, and your brilliant editing skills. I have learned a lot from your previous videos and I hope you will come up with more of their kind. Anyway, thank you for sharing, and have a nice day 🙂
Looks like just a quick lock of the face detect and press of the shutter button at a fast shutter speed. I was wondering the same and that's what I came up with. The lack of continuous autofocus is the only thing keeping me from trading my GFX for the X2D. I often work with animals and their movements are a bit too unpredictable and uncontrollable lol.
Hi Mark, considering the X2D - although definitely getting different reviews - my current Camera is Sony’s A7R5. The interest in the X2D is the colour system although I do tend to take photos in dark environments with no ability to use flash or tripods.
Thanks for the video. I just came across your RUclips Channel because of this review. What annoys me, is reading all the negative comments about you making these videos for such expensive kit. At the same time those people do not feel ashamed asking for free tutorials and other free reviews. I wonder how many of these people have financially supported you and your work and videos, for which you certainly spend a lot of your time. Also I wonder what their value to the community is, how much work for free they are offering. Probably not a single minute. So don't listen to those people and do what feels right for you.
Please I thank you very much for this tutorial, please I would to learn dark moody effect in photoshop, I could see that them running through all your pictures, it makes your images outstanding, could you please give us a detailed tutorial on how you can achieve that effect in photoshop
Cool video and of course, as always, phenomenal shots! However, I always feel bad after such videos because as a normal person you can't afford such a camera or such lenses.
I don’t understand this hype about the 90V when Hasselblad charts cleary show that the 90mm 3.2 is optically better! How can a lens be just judged for autofocus and lighter weight and speed when the whole point about using Hasselblad is optical quality???? 2.5 makes no difference with 3.2 aperture when most of the time we close down because depth of field is too shallow! How can a lens with this price tag need post production correction in Focus… sorry for 1000 euros lens, the 3.2 makes much more sens!
This camera and lenses are not in reach for a mortal consumer. More than 11k euros is too expensive for any photographer but for professionals who rely on the highest quality of lens and camera. I enjoy hearing about the camera/lense and seeing the results which can be achieved but at this price I wouldn’t anything less spectacular.
your videos getting so bored ! only commercial and nothing like the videos that you make before - the real photography passion! with different ideas and stuff.... too bad! :(

yes exactly!
Whilst I very much doubt I will be able to afford this great looking combo, it's still a great video yet again from you Mark. One can always dream!!!!
Been wanting to see the 90V and 80 compared. Thanks for putting it together
Images look incredible buddy. 👌
Great review , and my , you have a great eye !
Just bought a X2D. The 90mm V lens will definitely be one I get.
Great video. I’d love to track down a rep in Canada to get hands on.
Short and sweet. 👍
These images are beautiful!
Do you also happen to have the 55V? Could you also test out the auto focus system on that lens?
Do you use Phocus for these or Lightroom?
can I ask how you were focussing when she was walking? as there's no continuous focus on my X!D - is there on the X2D?

Hi Mark, I am an owner of Hasselblad X1DII, how this lense will work on this body? No autofocus? Do you have any chance to test it? Thank you
Why 1600 ISO?

My Dream, pero no tenes en Brazil!
i am so jelly on that camera set up! 😢
do you still use your Sony a7iv
I now have all three of the V lenses and that 90v is without doubt the best of them, if not the noisiest! Great video, thanks
Is there any chance that you are selling a framed print for that picture at 0:39?!!?
I just want to know if this is NYC. If so, where?
no.this is not in the US

😍💚
That's like a bazooka to a knife fight
Is X2D better than Leica M11?
Imo it is.
a big thanks to Sony for releasing the a9 iii and bringing attention to flash sync speed...
Nice photos, but we cannot really appreciate the quality on RUclips. Why didn't you post them on your IG?
I agree with a previous comment. What audience are you trying to connect with because any lens that costs this much is out of reach for most people.
👍
Whoever clicked in to watch the video. Should it be stated in the title that rich people only ? 😂
@@dayeah765caoni3👏👍😁🇸🇪
Im interested in this lens. Just saying
80 or 90v, it is really hard to choose...
120mm macro

If it makes you feel better you can get quite close with much cheaper systems.
not available ANYWHERE!!
Looks like shooting would be so much easier if the X2D had a flip-out screen

Because you have to keep selling baby! But honestly yeah this lens doesn't matter nor does this video

These cameras are well over 10k in Canadian $$$ without a lens. No amateur photographer is buying any of this gear 😂. Wonderful cameras but cmon lol.
So because you can’t afford it, the rest of us don’t deserve to see a review? What an incredibly ignorant and self entered comment.
Walk away then
Amateurs can’t appreciate this. What’s your point. Socialism and lack of logic
@@ChrisM-yq2pq Look everyone, a professional has put me in my place 😂😂😂 thank you oh wise photo professional 😂 and go fuck yourself
🤣what amatuer has £10k to spend on a camera?
Bankers , dentists, people willing to trade a private car for a camera, you name it.
What’s your definition of Amatuer?
Anyone here got Hasselblad money?
Enough to keep the company afloat
Yep
By far not. But I won the Hasselblad masters a few days ago 🤯👀
