- Understanding the database is foundational to your ability to create a fantastic no-code app. In this video, we cover the basics of databases in Adalo & compare them with a Google sheet to make them a little more approachable!
Although Adalo may look a little different than a Google sheet, there are a lot of similarities that will feel very familiar to help you design a great database to use for your app.
One difference between an app and a website is the ability to store data associated with users to personalize experiences - this data is stored in a database & can be used dynamically throughout the app.

I'd love to see a video on adding videos to an app. I'm having difficulty getting videos to play in my Adalo app. I made a very simple link from one screen to another that had a "web view" placeholder. I added a collection of "Lessons" for my video list. I've tried a link to the video, I tried using the embed code, nothing seems to work. I even tried the app in both staging preview and the share your test app to see if that would make a difference.
What's the database service running underneath?
