MASSACRATION, It is a Brazilian band that was created with the group '' Hermes and Renato '' who made high quality black humor and satire. The band was created as a joke but taken very seriously at the end of the 99-2000s.. They were geniuses and marked the childhood and adolescence of an entire generation. They are from a comedy group called "Hermes & Renato", they had a show for many years on MTV Brasil. The lead singer Bruno Sutter (aka Detonator) is a great heavy metal vocalist in his serious band! Their first album was produced by João Gordo, from Ratos de Porão and the second by Roy-Z.

That's so nice that you got what Massacration is about: metal, fun and laughs! I've watched them perform live in S. Paulo once (opening for Twisted Sister) and it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen! Still, I saw people complain and call them "posers" or worst. That's so absurd how seriously some people take things they should not. How can someone watch Manowar or Kiss play (I have to say: I like both bands, a lot) and not make fun of them? It is very funny, indeed! Why not play with that and make it even funnier?

Hey there, do you the story of how the band was created? They were a pice of a mtv comedy program. But the band and the heavy metal music characters kinda got their own live. Plus they usually sing some stuff in Portuguese that you need to translate, like “não importa se ela é coroa, panela velha é que faz comida boa” = it doesn’t matter if she is old, old pans is the ones that makes the better food.
