Im a dentist in the USA. I think they did an amazing job and at a great price. Your Pano xray looks good (I even checked the root canal) and your smile/gums look fantastic.
Yiur teeth look perfect. Great job. I had 6 full size upper implants done and 4 lower implants 600$ per implant with all on six and all on four fixed bridges and paid 9000$ in Colombia. It was the same exact procedure I was quoted 85k in the USA. Be smart save your money dental tourism is a great thing. American dentist are crooks with white coats. Your teeth look great! Im from the US and just had a full mouth restoration all crowns and 2 bridges in Mexico last Fall and had a fantastic experience. They had state of the art equipment, much better than any dentist I've seen in the US. And I am a nurse. The doctors were all highly trained in great medical schools around the world. It cost me $12k for everything included my hotel which was upstairs from the clinic. And included shuttles from the airport in AZ. And they did it all in 4 days!!! It was VERY long days but it was the schedule I requested.
@@lovehappyadventures- 👍🤩💝Wow! I’m happy to know this info so I can share it with people I know that will not go to Thailand for this work but will go to Mexico.😁💝
Vietnam is also excellent. My manicurist went back to Vietnam, had almost a whole mouth of implants. She looks amazing. Didn't even bother with crowns. Incredibly inexpensive.
I am so impressed with your detail knowledge for the care you received. With your Navy background and legal training, I bet you studied the ORM of your dental treatment before making the decision. The results look amazing. Thank you for sharing your experience.
To everyone contemplating dental tourism you must understand even in the US dental procedures like root canal treatments or crowns can have complications afterwards. Root canals can fail after 5 years and crowns can fail or needs adjustments after a period of use. Bite opening are especially risky. You must understand that if you develop complications then you need to go overseas and thein lies the cost because your dentist is now in Thailand not down the street near where you live .
Yeah, definitely need to follow up with dentist as you normally would. It’s no different than if you moved to a different town or state. You definitely need to continue to have your normal appointments where they will check the health of your teeth.
Either way you still save a ton on the initial work, like you said it could fail no matter where you get it done, so I don't really see the downside of getting it done overseas for a fraction of the cost.
@temprmj1 If you go overseas for dental treatment consider it a crap shoot. If it turns out ok then consider yourself lucky. If not then all that work may need to be replaced. That dentist in Thailand doesn't care much knowing you are not coming back anytime soon . In the US you have recourse .
12 years ago, BIDC, a stack of extractions, 8 implants, 11 tooth canals ( pretty positive, the same lady did the root canals as you), and 13 crowns,,,, Aussie Dollar bought over 32 Baht at the time, total price 1.2 Million Baht. Everything is fine so far apart from 1 root cracking and a pin and crown came adrift. Going back in the future to have another implant inserted and a new crown fitted. It's definitely the place to go.
I appreciate the day by day information and the very detailed breakdown of costs and hours involved. The work you had done looks amazing, and I'm glad you are happy with it. Being confident in your smile is very good for the soul! I even enjoyed reading the difference of opinions below in the comments. I find your content very valuable and a good use of my time to learn something. Keep up the good work, and Keep Smiling. :)
What a trooper! I do have a fear of dentists, therefore, spending more than 2 hours in a dental chair sounds nerve-racking to say the least. But for that cost and that smile, it’s worth it! If only I had the courage…. You always had a great smile but now it sparkles!
No way would I go through all that medical/dental for cosmetics! If you have ever experienced real medical problems, you realize how precious not having to go to the doctor is! To each his own, Mr. Hollywood. 😉Your teeth look great.
I had a complete restoration done in the Washington DC area. All crowns and a few root canals. Cost was about $60k. You did really good. Congratulations!
I just paid $1750 CND for a root canal, filling and temporary crown on a back molar. Then next week is the final $1700 for the permanent crown. Thus $3450 Canadian Dollars for all. So hell yeah ! im in for some medical tourism. A huge thank you for explaining it all. Plus the where to stay. TY
Looks like a great job to me. Your smile is fantastic now and the color of your teeth is perfect. With some veneers, it often comes across as too white. My wife and I are considering it, and your video has swayed us towards giving serious consideration to going to Thailand to have it done.
Medical tourism can save a lot of money. Dental work beyond a couple of appointments means one has to stay in the country long term, so being free like you makes it possible. I myself had surgery for a hernia in Costa Rica (also good for dental) over a week; cost was less than $4K vs. $12K (at the time) in the US. When I travel overseas I often look for local dental clinics for cleaning and exams. Most recently i was in Panama, and it cost me $40 for cleaning, x-rays, and exam.
@@zodglubby Which hospital? Had my inguinal hernia done by open surgery (with spinal block) at the government hospital in Chiang Mai (Suandok) for US$780 (including 2 nights in ward room).
Wow. just wow! your documentation of this project is over the top impressive. the folks at the dental clinic will be sharing this video as an extreme example of what they can do. as an aside, my wife has had one dental implant (tooth removed, metal post installed, new tooth made and installed) done- $5,000! in Oklahoma.
My freinds and i have had dental work in thailand it has always worked out well in fact one of them had exrays done in California before hand and boy his work turned out great that was at Silom Dental Clinic a huge practice in a full vertical dental building...
Glad to hear that it all went well and to your current liking. Looks great! Medical Tourism certainly has pros and cons. There’s a vlog circulating about a dental surgery mishap in Turkey. A surgeon dumped the male patient at an ER (then went on the run) after the surgeon’s manually forced application of a dental implant pierced the patient’s brain cavity. Thankfully surgeons at the ER were able to remove it and the patient seems to have mended. No brain damage reported. You appear happy with the results and it looks awesome.
I enjoyed your video. It was very informative. I too have done dental work in Thailand. Not only was the cost significantly lower than in the USA, but the quality of service and expertise by the dentist exceeded any dentist I’ve had in the USA. I spent around $800 on dental work in Thailand. The same dental work here in the USA would cost $10,000. Also in Thailand, it was the first time I had completely pain-free dental work. When I return to Thailand later this year, I look forward to going to the dentist.
👍🤩💝Wow! Thank you for being so thorough & brave to post this info. Your smile looks even more fantastic. If I ever need to have comprehensive & extensive dental work done like this, I’m going to that dental office to those dentist. They did a great job. 🤩💝
I never thought of your teeth as bad and I'm sure you took really good care of them. Now they are so white and straight, it's blinding LOL Truly affordable in Thailand compared to US which I would guess would cost three times that? Thanks for sharing Kev!!
I have the same problem with getting numb. I was traumatized as a kid (the dentist didn’t believe me) so I still have so much anxiety going to the dentist. Thanks for taking us through the process. I’d love to do that as I have 13 crowns and several root canals already, and doing that in a beautiful location would be nice. Did you have temperature sensitivity after? You had a great smile before, but a perfect smile now!
Aww thanks! Yeah, I was actually surprised I had no issues with the numbing. It was a big relief. I do have some hot and cold sensitivity still but it’s not painful. It’s just a really light sensation. It’s actually better than it was. I was starting to have some really temperature sensitivity issues.
For Americans who prefer not to travel abroad, considering Miami for a smile makeover could be beneficial. Many specialize and have on site labs and do it for much less than the average US dentist.
Wow, this was a really fascinating deep dive into your mouth. But to be clear, this went well beyond merely a cosmetic procedure; they actually changed the structure/mechanics of your teeth. As someone who is just about to embark on my own smile restoration journey, I have so many questions... I had previously scoped out doing my work in Turkey, and every website I visited indicated that it would only take around 10 days to get a new mouthful of "Turkey Teeth," which invariably included crowns. I am shocked that this process actually took 4 to 6 weeks in Thailand. But then again, I think you had a particularly complex situation. I am also scoping out Colombia, which would be a relatively short flight from NYC or MIA/FLL for me, and I know someone who absolutely raves about the work he received in Cartagena. However, I have also heard horror stories about crime in Colombia. Anyway... in terms of the actual crowns, were you given options regarding material (porcelain, zirconium, etc.) and/or manufacturer? Or did they do all of their fabrication locally or in-house? And how did you settle on Thailand? Was it the cheapest option? Was it the best quality option (based on your research)? Did you have any reluctance about shaving down so many of your natural teeth to receive crowns? How long do you expect these crowns to last? Have you stopped eating nuts? As of now, I am leaning towards Colombia to get my work (20 veneers + 4 implants) done, but I am planning on getting it done in only a week (with a follow-up visit in 6 months for the final implants). Do you think this is realistic? Sorry for the run-on comment!
Yeah, a ton of options. Check out the website in the description, you can see all the options. The brands they use are exactly what they US in the US. I don’t know how they can do all that work in 10 days and ensure your bite is correct. Im glad I had a dentist that insisted I be there to make sure it’s all correct. I definitely dont think a week is long enough to ensure proper fit and bite. I’ve spent a ton of time in Colombia, it’s as safe as any US city to be honest. I settled on Thailand after researching all the different places to go. They combination of price and quality of care led me to clinic I decided to go to.
I appreciate you putting work into your videos and explaining your experiences clearly. Personally, I'm extremely wary of getting so many crowns. While crowns are profitable for dentists, most reputable dentists try to avoid crowns unless necessary. Crowns greatly weaken the stability of your tooth, risk infections, and can require replacements in the long term. Even though I have access to a well-trained cosmetic dentist, I only get a crown if absolutely required. I know people have different aesthetic goals, but for me bright white veneers look too much like dentures.
My grandmother aleays said that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all and its an adage I completely agree with and given you've already had all this work done what I'm about to say next isn't helpful BUT given the number of people in the comments section talking about how "educational" and "informative" this I feel compelled to say something having just watched this with my wife, an Australian dentist. As she said "if I placed 22 crowns on healthy teeth purely for aesthetic improvement I would be stuck off, I would lose my licence to practice dentistry and rightly so" For teeth in your original condition - which was actually good as you said save for some chipping and discolouration, a professional whitening and some composite veneers would have given you a very good aesthetic result while removing very little to no healthy tooth structure. For people with teeth that are very worn down, chipped and damaged then porcelain veneers can be good option. This does involve prepping the teeth by removing some healthy tooth structure but typically its very minimal - 0.5mm max off of the surface and occlusions. The veneers themselves just cover the front part of the tooth and are a thin but very strong shell of porcelain. Crowns, which you have, are VERY different from veneers. They are not for the surface they are for the whole tooth, essentially like a false tooth and to fit them they need to remove a large amount of tooth structure, filling your existing teeth down to pegs essentially. And that's where the problem lies because when you have that little healthy tooth structure left then you are very likely to end up with issues over time that will lead to root canals in the teeth with crowns and ultimately extractions. Im not saying this to be mean or scare people but PLEASE PLEASE understand that crowning all your healthy teeth for aesthetic reasons is not a good Idea. Crowns, whatever your dentist told you will not last a life time either and will need replacing every 10-12 years or so even if you don't experience pain issues from the nerve being compromised with your peg teeth underneath getting decay. So educate yourself, so many young people getting this done and saying they got veneers when they didn't even realise they got crowns. Watch the BBC documentary on RUclips called 'Turkey teeth' which details this whole issue of people getting 20 plus crowns placed abroad. I feel like you'll probably delete my comment but I hope you don't so people can at least understand the issues.
Im not going to delete. I think it’s important for people to do their research and consider all view points on something like this. But with all do respect. I went to 3 dentist in the US and all of them said I needed major restorative dental work due to how bad the back of my teeth were worn down from my severe overbite and grinding of my teeth over the years. My front teeth were almost paper thin unfortunately and veneers would not have worked. The Dentist I had in Thailand was trained at what is usually ranked the #1 or #2 Dental Universities in the US and in the top 10 in the world. She laid out all my options, the risks and I made a choice. I’ll leave your comment up because I think it’s important for people to see. However, every dentist that actually looked at me disagreed with your wife’s assessment.
@@30AndAWakeUp as a medical doctor that has had significant dental work in multiple countries including thailand i concur with willsmith39 but you made an informed decision. we must not confuse attending a quick course or conference at a so called top university, showing a certificate for same with completing a formal dental residency (usually 1 or more years). just about anyone that pays the course /conference fee is admitted. tons of very competent dentists never attended such courses for clout. i was a patient at the same place you went to but after a reprehensible experience there i never returned. i may post my experience there. congrats on your satisfaction with outcome.

@@30AndAWakeUp I agree with all you said......As an Australian I doubt you'd get any change out of 50-60K AND that's not considering the quality of works performed may be less than let's say of 1st class work either........I've been there!!
I think Australian dentistry is of pretty high standard. My wife's practice actually deals with a good number of patients who had overly 'agressive' cosmetic dental work in Thailand and have developed serious issues. Yes the price is much cheaper but the point is that Australian dentists aren't placing 22 crowns on healthy teeth for any price if they want to continue to practice. I'm not for a minute saying that all dentists in Thailand or bad or unethical of course I'm not. I actually visited a well regarded hospital in Bangkok in 2014 and two root canals and two crowns placed as well as another composite filing. This was before I met my wife. Anyway 10 years on and I haven't experienced any issues and my wife x rayed my teeth recently again and said the quality of the work, particularly thr root canal work eas of a very good standard. But I NEEDED this work done as I had large existing fillings and these restorations over time had leaked, decay had set in and I had irreversible pulpitis which I'd when you need a root canal and a crown. But doing that to healthy teeth is a big no no. Anyway I sense I'm wasting my breath so maybe I'll just leave it here.
@@willsmith39 No it’s great to have a counter point. But I did my research (Im a lawyer, so research is my thing) and we just disagree on the need for the work I got and what the long term impact will be. Only time will tell and Im always transparent on my channel.
Buy a water flosser and use it every day. When you have crowns, it becomes even more important to have impeccable dental hygiene. And the water flosser will get in and around the gaps at the top of the crowns.
Great video..I'm getting almost the identical done in Tijuana and it's funny because my total price is almost exactly same as yours..hope mine look as good as yours!
Not only smile esthetics but also do not forget the function. Increasing the vertical dimension of your jaw need time for the jaw muscle and jaw joint to adapt, and this process should do with temporary glue of the restoration for a period of time that long enough to make sure that the jaw muscle adapt well before the permanent glue. The process of full mouth oral rehabilitation can take months of even year including adaptation with temporary glue. Most important always clean your teeth and floss well and do regular dental check up as tooth decay can occur all around the margin of restorations.
The results are AWESOME!! I'm glad they can adjust the whiteness for different preferences. Is the night guard something you'll always wear, or just while all of the new work settles in? Great to know of the full timeline too, thanks.
@@30AndAWakeUp thanks -- ah yes, that sounds very sensible for your great lookin' chompers! This has been really helpful for my next big personal project, much appreciated.
Excellent price. Very impressive dental work. I traded in 17 root canals and crowns for Clear Choice; full on four. My teeth were just too soft to save. Boy I could not be happier. Costly yes….$42,000. I’ve never regretted doing this, even though one implant had to be redone 3 times, two with bone grafts. You will be so happy.
2 repeats on one implant. You have my total respect. I had 8 implants, 4 one Saturday and the following Saturday the remaining 4,, last one was in the jaw where there was a bit of infection,, Dr Chai said "I knew it was going to hurt", I went thru the equivalent of childbirth that day for sure 😂
@@stevenboyd8747 not gonna lie the bone grafts to protect my sinuses pretty much kicked my butt. Now that it’s over…no regrets. Infections definitely hurt 🙈
Love this. I've lived in a dentist office since birth due to bad genetics.. $16K is practically free for all that work. Like you said, it would easily cost $50K+ in the USA.
When I lived in Manila (Makati) I went to a place similar to this one. They charged quite a bit. It ended up being very close to U.S. prices. They had a fancy looking office. Lots of people trying to put forth their sales pitch etc. I ended up just walking away. Your total cost here still sounds like a lot. They like foreign clients. Who they know usually have more money to spend. Hopefully you have some kind of overseas health insurance too.
Wow they look great! And yes you got a bargain. No way would you get that kind of restoration work done in the US or UK for that price. I think I need a trip to Bangkok!
WHoah! this is incredible! very nice and they all look fantastic, i really appreciate this video. it will help so many people who are interested in this kind of work being done. outstandig sir! Dental work in Thailand is no doubt the way to go. i had one crown in thailand so far and i would like some veneers.
Great insights and explanations, thanks for walking us through all of it. I didn't get to see the dentist when I was there about 6 weeks ago, but met a nice bloke on the plane home who had some wonderful dental work done (and awesome pricing). Next time there I've got my plan sorted already to get a consult.
Can you talk more about the initial contact from when you were outside the country? How far in advance did you make the appointments? Did you do a video consultation before you arrived, or was it just a photo? Did you need to send a deposit? Do they arrange the hotel for you or is it a separate company? Your smile looks fabulous!
@@bethm2699 Yeah, I should have talked more about that. So I did my research and landed on that clinic. I sent them an email telling them that I was interested in a full mouth restoration. They asked me if I had any up to date dental x-rays. I did not. So they had me take pics of my teeth. They sent me back and estimate but said that they wouldn’t know 100% for sure until they did a crazy. No deposit needed. I arranged for the hotel myself through hotels dot com. I paid with my chase sapphire reserve credit card to get the points and so I didn’t have any foreign transaction fees.
Nothing personal, but could you do one about hair replacement? I need to do something about my brain surgery scar.😊 I'm 100% at the VA, so I have the Dental covered.
Two thoughts, one, if you do not maintain your periodontal condition, it can fail over time. I am confident they stressed that. Second, what type of porcelain was used for the crowns, there are different types. I think the quality of care, both dental and medical, at the better places in Bangkok is very good, based on some personal experience.
Looks great - glad evrything worked out well! Kevin - what about follow up check ups after spending that much $. Are any of the say 6-month follow ups - part of that initial cost?
You can go anywhere. You get your normal dental check ups and cleanings. A follow up wouldn’t be in the price but a dental check up is only like 30 bucks.
Holy smokes! looks great & thank you for sharing but wow! I can't say I would have done the same. I have a long history with terrible dentistry and my teeth have always been pretty good (knock on wood). But ever since my long time dentist retired I've had a heck of a time finding a trust worthy dentist. I have been to so many dentist I can't even count and many of which say I need a bunch of work done when it turned out I didn't. I have found that many are just out to make a buck. I let one replace an old amalgam filing with an onlay instead of a crown which has become an issue. Wish I never went down that road. Also when it comes to adjusting your bite that can lead to issues down the road. I hope you don't experience any of those issues such as TMJ (which I have). Crowns don't last forever & taking that much off healthy teeth scares me. I wish you all the very best. To anyone wanting to do the same I recommend you check with multiple dentists before proceeding with great caution. Maybe see a holistic dentist as they are less aggressive with treatments. My one question for you is did they safely remove any and all amalgam from your teeth before placing all those crowns etc? Be well & thank you again for being so open to sharing all this. It is not an easy thing to do. Bless you
@@30AndAWakeUp ok good. Many dentist do not safely remove it which can lead to many health issues. Especially for people like me with compromised immune systems. Enjoy your new smile.
Wow, Thailand is expensive! I had 24 crowns done nearly 3 years ago in Turkey. The total price was about a quarter of what you have paid and that’s including the hotel and flights from UK. And I was only there for 10 days. I’m very happy with the results and I’ve not had any issues.
Oh wow! I can relate to this for 👍 sure. I had my top teeth with veneers done about 4 years ago….(I already had 1 veneer on my front tooth & a crown on each canine. So I decided to have them redone to all match.) However, just a month ago, some of the veneers were cracking😢. So I had to have crowns put on them all. (I only had to have 6 done though. So it was done in two visits. Temporaries, then a week later the crowns. Unfortunately, I recently had to get a root canal “redone” on the canine due to an infection. I was sent to an Endodontics. It was pretty awful. Anyway, I have had my share of dental work done in my lifetime even though I take great care of my teeth. Unfortunately I have “soft” teeth that are prone to decay etc.
I agree that your teeth looked okay before, but the dental work made a huge difference. They did a great job and your smile is terrific. Will you have to go back for any adjustments? Thanks for sharing your journey.
I do my normal dentist appointments and cleanings…and if i need adjustments any dentist can do them. I’d probably come back here if I felt something was wrong though. They have a 2 year warranty and I like the quality of work. Plus Im in Thailand all the time anyway.
@@30AndAWakeUpSpeaking of hair...could you do an information video about hair replacement? The VA won't do one for me to cover up my brain surgery scar. But, I did get 24 crowns put in😊
Sooner or later bad Dentistry (Which is suprisingly prevalent) catches up with you. You are simply investing in your dental health. But I would add that intensive orthodontics is not pain free, no matter what you are told. But it’s worth it. Had mine sorted out 18 years ago in Slovenia. Never had an issue. Until last week in Khon Kaen. Biting a fingernail and a front incisor Zircon Crown broke at the gum line. At my friend’s Thai dentist the following morning. Consultation, No infection, no root issues. One extraction later and an immediate implant fitted. 25000Baht. It is healing very nicely and the Zircon Crown and abutment will be another 15000 for the impression’s, lab and fitting. That is incredibly reasonable. For such an obviously competent Dentist.
Hi, amazing video! I've been interested in this for a while now because i was thinking of having something similar done. It sounds like a great clinic. How did you make the big payment? Just normal bank transfer, credit card, wise, ...?
The result looks great. I'm surprised they did molds instead of 3d scans/models which is a standard practice at the clinic where I go in the US. Also, what material are your crowns made of?
I have had a lot of dental work - just unlucky that way i have lots of crowns and one overlay. My question, how was the numbing for your front teeth. To me, the shots are sooooo painful! Do they have a painless way? Thanks!
That’s definitely inexpensive compared to what it would cost in U.S. I got similar work about 5 years ago and it was almost $40K. Since then, I had all the work redone (implants) because the dentist didn’t use any posts in the crowns and some of the crowns began to fail. Your smile looks great.
Hi Kev. I am in the process of getting 2 implants put in. The posts are in, I have to wait until November to get the teeth put in. I was toying with the idea of getting 2 crowns. I was wondering how your crowns are and is it worth it?. I heard crowns last from 5 to 15 years. Bye the way your teeth look great. P.S. my bill for 2 implants, extractions, CT Scans, cleaning, temporary plate is 190,000 Baht.
I have two crowns on my upper that were placed in the US many years ago. They are over 20 years old and still in good condition, with no issues. If done correct, they last a very long time. I would think that front teeth will need to be replaced in 10 or 15 years.
Hey Kevin , Wow what a great job they did . They gave you an awesome smile. I got a price here in NC for 3 implants with a tooth pulled and 1 root canal . They wanted a little less than $25,000 . I couldn’t believe it . So I wanted to know how you paid for it . I mean is it difficult to use credit cards in Thailand or is it difficult getting cash out of the bank . I am worried about how to pay the bill . I don’t want to be there and have a problem using my credit cards or getting a lot of money out of the bank . I think that is my biggest concern . @@30AndAWakeUp Usually, most places in Thailand will charge an additional percentage to make up for the fee that the credit card company charges them, so typically another 4%.
Oh, it just occured to me that that isnt the type of xray you have. This is the kind my oral surgeons office does, and they actually don't charge. My implant consult was 50, and xrays are included, but when there have been questions they just do them again and no big deal. I want to say they charge to put them on CD or DVD, but it wasn't much, and they just sent back to my normal dentist. I much prefer this style xrays to the other though, painless.

Where did you go for dental work? Thank you in advance!🙏🙏🙏

Haha…yeah.
This video was very educational and informative 🙂 Good stuff brother.
Glad you enjoyed it!🙏
12 years ago, BIDC, a stack of extractions, 8 implants, 11 tooth canals ( pretty positive, the same lady did the root canals as you), and 13 crowns,,,,
Aussie Dollar bought over 32 Baht at the time, total price 1.2 Million Baht.
Everything is fine so far apart from 1 root cracking and a pin and crown came adrift. Going back in the future to have another implant inserted and a new crown fitted.
It's definitely the place to go.

TY
Yeah, the price differences are crazy. And it’s all the same brands of crowns and veneers.
You got a deal! My crown was $2,300.
Looks like a great job to me. Your smile is fantastic now and the color of your teeth is perfect. With some veneers, it often comes across as too white. My wife and I are considering it, and your video has swayed us towards giving serious consideration to going to Thailand to have it done.
im really happy I did it
Medical tourism can save a lot of money.
Yeah, Costa Rica is a good spot.

Wow. just wow! your documentation of this project is over the top impressive. the folks at the dental clinic will be sharing this video as an extreme example of what they can do. as an aside, my wife has had one dental implant (tooth removed, metal post installed, new tooth made and installed) done- $5,000! in Oklahoma.

You appear happy with the results and it looks awesome.
wow…that is crazy!
Your experience mirrors my own. The cost, the quality of service and expertise were way better than any dental experience in the US.

Thanks for that tip!
Yeah, there are definitely risks associated with it. We’ll see what happens.
I usually don't bother to look at videos with the words 'shocking' or 'brutal' as they're clickbait. I made an exception as I'm subscribed.
Thank you! 🙏
As she said "if I placed 22 crowns on healthy teeth purely for aesthetic improvement I would be stuck off, I would lose my licence to practice dentistry and rightly so"
For teeth in your original condition - which was actually good as you said save for some chipping and discolouration, a professional whitening and some composite veneers would have given you a very good aesthetic result while removing very little to no healthy tooth structure.
Thanks for the tip!

Great advice!
The results are AWESOME!! I'm glad they can adjust the whiteness for different preferences. Is the night guard something you'll always wear, or just while all of the new work settles in? Great to know of the full timeline too, thanks.

Wow you look great happy smiling 😁😁😁👍
🙏
Amazing deal and results, good for you 😊
Thank you! 🙏
Did you have any mercury fillings removed and did they do it safely?
I had a few older fillings removed. Not sure what they were made of though.
I have had a lot of dental work - just unlucky that way i have lots of crowns and one overlay. My question, how was the numbing for your front teeth. To me, the shots are sooooo painful! Do they have a painless way? Thanks!
I dont remember it being any different than the other teeth.
You look even more handsome than before.
awww…you’re too kind 🙏
That’s definitely inexpensive compared to what it would cost in U.S. I got similar work about 5 years ago and it was almost $40K. Since then, I had all the work redone (implants) because the dentist didn’t use any posts in the crowns and some of the crowns began to fail. Your smile looks great.
Thanks!
P.S. my bill for 2 implants, extractions, CT Scans, cleaning, temporary plate is 190,000 Baht.
they are great but i’ve only had them about a month…i think it was worth it
I have two crowns on my upper that were placed in the US many years ago. They are over 20 years old and still in good condition, with no issues. If done correct, they last a very long time. I would think that front teeth will need to be replaced in 10 or 15 years.
ooo.. you're back in SEA Kevin... nicee! Any chance you might be visiting Saigon or Kuala Lumpur?
I’ll be in Kuala Lumpur for 2 months starting at the beginning of August.
@@30AndAWakeUp awesome.. if your schedule permit, I'd love to catch up over drinks or a meal with the renowned globe trotter and cruise specialist :)
@@WanderEats Sounds great!
Looks fantastic. I need a bone graph, two posted, and crowns. 👍
Here’s to a successful procedure for you!
I will be using your Doctor when I make the trip . I am planning for after Christmas .
What a great video . I love that it was so informative .
Thank you for sharing .
So they take Visa and I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve which has no foreign transaction fees and gives me points back. She really is great!
@@30AndAWakeUp Thank you for the reply . Yes , I’m liking forward to the trip . I know I am going to watch this video a dozen more times . 😂
Safe Travels …
@@pmags1331 check out their website and youtube vid….they have some good testimonials on there as well
@@30AndAWakeUp Usually, most places in Thailand will charge an additional percentage to make up for the fee that the credit card company charges them, so typically another 4%.
They look Great
@@ebonieriley8309 Thanks! 🙏
Nice! And what a great price! I just paid 13k for 10 veneers here in Florida
Crazy! And the brands are the same! My veneers are EMax.
It looks great gratulation and Thank you for sharing
Thank you! 🙏
I much prefer this style xrays to the other though, painless.
yeah, easy peasy for sure
I’m so glad that it worked. I have seen many comments, saying that you could go to a traditional barbershop in Thailand. I think it's a great idea to see what they are like on that side of the world. Maybe shave your head there. 🪒💇♂️💈
i haven’t been to a barber shop since 2019! :)
@@30AndAWakeUp I think now it’s the moment to return to a barbershop. It is very requested here as well. It would be an awesome experience and a very nice video.
Great video! I have a couple questions for you…did you pay cash or used credit card? Can us provide us the link for the hotel? Thank you so much. Very helpful video.
I used my Chase Sapphire Reserve Visa to get the points and avoid international fees.

Man I sure hope all that time in the dentist’s chair was worth it, did the quality of the dudes you date improve that significantly after to make it worth the effort?
I dont date dudes but the quality of my smile improved! That made it worth it to me.
@@30AndAWakeUp that’s cool brotha, glad you got that va $$$ for the veneers
Thanks for great information , eat and enjoy !
Thank you! Will do! 🙏
That adjusting thing actually makes a lot of sensw. My implant crowns need adjusted about every second or third cleaning. Not a big deal since they are screwed in crowns, but can be annoying.
yeah for sure
You have what they call Turkey teeth in the UK. I suppose you could call them Thailand teeth if you wish.
🤷♂️
Can they do periodontal work as well?
yes…check out there website…it’s in the link in the description
