Hi there. Thank you for showing us the condo. Interesting and really reasonable cost. Wish I was younger and able to explore more. Do this while you can. The years disappear SO quickly.
You can country hop from Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines and enjoy an amazing life and save a ton of money! They speak English in Malaysia and the Philippines…so those ones are a really easy adjustment.
It's not a heck of a deal as the norm for that kind of condo with swimming pool and gym, close to the BTS/MRT etc, is less than 300 Us$ on a 12 month contract...
Wow that's so so reasonable and the condos are nice and clean, and mimimal which I like also. Cool place to live, work and play! Thanks for sharing Kevin!

I think we would consider it. The cost was higher than what I expected, but it has SO MANY conveniences. Thailand is high on our list of where to live, so this place is definitely worth checking out. Thanks so much for the video!
What an amazing community! I love the convenience aspect of all of it. Did you love it? Did it feel crowded? Busy? It did not look it and so clean! I love your city tours!
I don't qualify for the work/live/play arrangement, so I've been looking at other Airbnb options in Bangkok for a month for around $600 all-in. Same for Chiang Mai. You live a great life-style. Maybe for your next video a full-day of 'eating out pricing' for Bangkok, most particular at the local less expensive options. THANKS for all you do!!! ❤
Omg, that pool!! I was also loving the trees w/ the flowering yellow (or orange?) blooms. They looked so beautiful! Heeey, any chance of a reunion w/ Bumblebee? 🤖🛵
Hi Kevin. I'm on the Majestic Princess and just completed my 10k steps like you would before 6am and thought about your cruise content regarding walking. Do you still get your steps in while off ship? I am seeing a lot more content now for 20k+ steps per day. It's easier than I thought it would be. Completed 26k yesterday adding walk around Victoria BC on a beautiful sunny day. Miss your cruise content and hope all is well! Stan
I’ve kind of been doing what you’ve been doing, just less intentional. I’m a California based 100% DAV. I lived in an RV for a year traveling in NorCal (it was a beast of an RV so kinda hard to move/find spots for). I lived in Thailand for about 7 months, absolutely loved it and will eventually be back for sure. Then went to Costa Rica for 2 months, and now I’m in Paraguay. Currently loving life here in PY. Is definitely not an exciting place, but it’s incredible food and kind people plus super low cost of living (and lack of other tourists 😂) makes this an appealing place to live. Come check it out sometime. Def check out the Arcadia Barcade in Bangkok, owned by a dude from Pasadena! Really cool bar with something to offer everyone.
Kevin it looks really good, particularly the public spaces. It would be interesting to see what you actually eat in a day now, as you eat out all the time - in managing your nutrition, which I know is important to you. I am in an Airbnb in Piraeus, Athen's port, and am paying about A$86 a night for two weeks. It is a bit hard to compare...
Hey Kevin... When I was condo hunting last year to begin my new Bangkok life, I found TDP and thought it would be an awesome neighborhood. My agent started to show me some units, but there was one little detail: the space is REALLY tight! A 28-30 sq m unit is probably fine for a visit. But I'm here for years, so I had to restart the search. Happily, just one BTS stop away from TDP, I got a unit on the 29th floor, with 2 bedrooms (I need an office for my stock/option trading 'floor'!) and 52 sq m. It's not something I'd buy, as it does feel a bit claustrophobic at times, but it'll do for now. So many fabulous new condo buildings going up are not designed for western residents/investors; otherwise, they should START at 100 sq m! But no one asks my opinion... hahaha.
Hey! Kevin. 🙂 Pretty nice place to live and shared with someone special to enjoy it ! For sure I will paid to live there for one year to experienced how it’s life over there. Pretty Cool 😎 Thanks for the info ℹ️

🌟Awesome video Brother! That is a good deal in Bangkok if you are into the city Life, I spent month in Sukhumvit in 25th Floor Airbnb, it was ok but much much prefer Phuket and Beach coastal areas. I am getting ready to head back to Phuket for another long Southeast Asia Adventure 😊
Thanks for the tour! Too urban for me -- extremely convenient, but seems it would be crowded/noisy? (for us stillness and quiet lovers). I have that stuff at home -- Love the convenience, but hate the constant racket and buzziness at all times/hours --- I liked your spot on the beach in Jomtien some time ago, more my speed. Interesting option though and reasonably well priced for what it offers. Cheers!...from North Vancouver
Your video was great and answered most of the questions I had about this specific property! But I do have 2 questions. 1. I too found not many listings on airbnb for this condo, is it because the condo is not friendly for short-term renting? 2. Would you get access to the free breakfast if you rent it on airbnb?
I think it’s because it’s mostly local, white collar Thais that live there. So they dont rent out their place. Not sure about the free breakfast. I should have asked.
Listen, I love your sense of adventure and you have helped me shape my life as I enter retirement. But I can't imagine living in something so small. Not even a kitchen table to double as a desk. That shelf in the bedroom you called a desk is really a no-go. Any info on a 2 bedroom so I could have an office? The idea is super-appealing but I can't see how to make this work. Crazy small? Or maybe I'm the one who's crazy???? Can't wait to see more.
@@30AndAWakeUp Thanks for replying. I thought maybe I was too assertive and had somehow offended you. You are such a joy and I'm so thankful for all that you share. A real fan here. Wishing you continued happiness!🤩Do you ever offer consultation for a fee?
Hi Kevin - looks fun! I’d love to spend time in Thailand, but the climate might be too hot/humid for me to enjoy long term. Jealous of all the affordable, yummy food you must be eating there. I just had khao soi last night, $16 here in the US, yikes!
Personal experience: I rented a 120 sq m 4 bedroom townhouse for 1.5 years about a 15-20 min drive from here for $765pm. I wanted the space - had a dedicated office room, gaming room, guest bedroom/storage room. It was great, but ended up getting bored of the lifestyle of having to drive everywhere (and I love driving - but its such a waste of productive work time/energy on weekdays, and working from the office room became isolated and lonely). I probably wouldn’t rent at True Digital either as I quickly feel claustrophobic in condos this size… they feel like shoeboxes to me, but that’s a ‘me’ problem I guess! Planning to look for 80+ sq m condos in Ekkamai/Thonglor/Silom when I come back in a month.
Looks nice! Is that desk setup adequate or do you use the co-working space? I have spent a lot of time in WeWorks (good amenities) and a 1780s townhouse which was a beautiful co-working space, so I think I've been spoiled.
so they have formal coworking spaces like WeWork and they have pods all over True Digital Park you can work at for free. There is free wifi everywhere. I didn’t really use the desk but I never do. I just work in the living room, so not sure if the desk would have been adequate.
I love it because like so much of what I see around the world, compared to what you can get in America it’s five times nicer and five times cheaper as well. In America paying rent on a basement studio in the ghetto is a monthly emergency and nobody is even talking about the insanity of how high rent is here. The only thing I’m not crazy about with the modern Asian buildings is they all seem to have card reader door locks. Prefer old school locks for more security, privacy and reliability.
@@30AndAWakeUp I'm in the IDEO VERVE. I decided that If I'm not going to drive in Asia I might as well be right next to the BTS. nice place. But over a thousand for Thailand? Western prices..
yeah, that is pretty pricey…but I wanted to try out the area. If i stayed there long term it’d be around 500-600 a month all in (rent and utilities)
this is on the low end Condo. fridge also small. I live in Noble BE19 behind Terminal 21. I pay 25K for one year contract. its luxury Condo. The problem is that in thailand only small Condo are available in a reasonable price. I am not sure why you show price in USD .
Anyway i just subscribe to your channel :)

thanks for the feedback 🙏
I enjoyed the video. @nikiesanchez3846 how about some specifics on what you’re looking for. See this is your second snarky comment which Kevin does not deserve. He is great at answering specific questions if you want to try that path.
I won't live in Bangkok. Jomtien Beach is much better.
i do like jomtien for sure
You blindly ignored "what's for breakfast?" What breakfast is in Thailand is a mystery, an important mystery..... I'm unfollowing you. That was quick & easy.....
Ciao!
Niki - wow, what planet are you on?
This sounds like a cult/commune…
@@30AndAWakeUp Hi Kevin...people are strange..ignore the haters...enjoy your videos and travel style...keep up the good work
LOL Niki, for me @30AndAWakeUp is one of the nicest RUclipsrs going around. Doesn't deserve any hate IMO.
