    @AdamsTechReviews, one of the key features of the W10 is the automatic mop head cleaning. What happens if you have a 2-level house and intend to mop both levels? I looked at the specs of the W10 and it states that it can save up to 3 levels, however it does not explain HOW to operate the mopping for the multi-levels.
    I have a 2-level house and I am contemplating buying the W10, however I am concerned that the W10 cannot realistically and automatically mop of both levels. So, on that note, would the following scenario of steps work?
    1. Place the base station on the bottom level
    2. Run the robot to build the map of the lower level.
    3. Run the robot to build the map of the upper level.
    4. Run the robot to vacuum and mop the lower level. Whilst mopping the lower level the robot will repeatedly return to the base to clean the mop heads. Once the job is complete the robot will return to the base station
    5. Pick up the base station (and robot) and place in on the upper level
    6. Run the robot to vacuum and mop the upper level. Whilst mopping the upper level the robot will repeatedly return to the base to clean the mop heads. Once the job is complete the robot will return to the base station
    Is this possible?

    We have owned the W10 for 4 months and we run the mopping 5 days a week. It has held up and mops very well. The vacuum also does well. I would buy it again. Even with the Roborock I’m just not impressed with the mopping feature and the lack of the bin full sensor.

      Hello there. Did you add any detergent to the water tank to make mopping more Effective? I bought dreame l10 ultra and i am curious if is it possible and it will not damage the robot. I cant see that info in the manual.

      @@mroqqq7871 We actually bought some Narwall detergent sheets and have been using those a long time. We don’t use detergent much so the sheets have lasted us a long time. But dreame has detergent that they say is safe to use. I will buy that next after the sheets are done. We have had no issues with detergent.

    I am using W10 for about 3 weeks now, I think it ran 5-6 times over the completely tiled 2000 sq ft house and I am completely satisfied with cleaning part. I came here to check for the update because last ran I noticed a squeaking sound, similar to emergency vehicle siren, enough loud to annoy me. Not sure why is that, will clean it thoroughly and try again. I have one week to return in case I do not find an answer and it continues to do that. I am concerned to say the least...

    Would you mop the floor without ringing out your push mop after first pass over something, don't think so. What ever is on the pad will be smeared around until the pad is cleaned, may not be visible to the naked eye but its their. Think some type of zamboni machine that vacumms up liquified dirt would be the idea cleaning machine for hard floors.

    Can't like this one since it does not carry a water tank to re-wet the pads while its out moping. I believe this one will just not do as good as a job as the new ones that are coming out that carry a water tank to re-wet the pads as its out moping.

    • @AdamsReviews

      I feel it may be better without the tank. It will go back more often to clean the pads.

    • @mrannon
      @mrannon 2 года назад

      @@AdamsReviews I see your point but the problem I see is these are not flat pads they are spin mops so the dirt is locked into the mop head alot better then a flat pad. This would be a great test in the future, Spin mop with and without water tanks, witch one cleans faster but does not spread the dirt around.

    • @TVB1st
      @TVB1st 2 года назад +1

      @@mrannon I am not understanding what you mean by saying it carries dirt around in case of W10. I put the setting for 5 sq meters as a cleaning space between washing pads and wettest pads and it does just that. Comes back to the base to wash pads often but I do not care as long as it is cleaning them and all the floor is plenty wet to be cleaned and not a drop more (dries out quickly). I put a little bit of floor soap in clean water tank just because. Pads are always wet and clean. I think I am in love with this thing - it freed me so much! I just hope it continues to work for a long time.

    • @mrannon
      @mrannon 2 года назад +1

      @@TVB1st The concern I had was that the W10 didn't have it own on-board water tank to wet the spin pads while it moped. I figured they would just dray out after several minutes. Glad to hear that's not happening. I went and bought the Deepbot X1 Omni from Aliexpress in China and just loving this bot, works great in the US, it just talks back in Chinese though there will be a update for that when it hits the US stores. The app is in English and what the robot says is also in the app in English. so only thing I can't do is voice command for now.

    • @spir013
      @spir013 Год назад +1

      I thought so too but I realized that water tank = less clean mop pads, because it carries them for longer with all the dirt it absorbed. And it makes it more heavy and take space, which probably means it took the space of other features. When you traditionally clean, you don’t go with the same pads all over the house and wetting it again without squeezing the dirt out of it.
