Excellent review! Subscribed. I really appreciate your notes on the maintenance of the bot itself, an important consideration that most reviewers skip. One question - there is carpet between my hardwood floor kitchen and where the docking station would be. Can it travel over carpet with the heads on (not cleaning) to mop in the kitchen? Thanks.
@@VacTech1 Thanks! Very good to know, a deal breaker for me. I'm also evaluating the Roborock S7+ which can do that, but a bit concerned re reports of it scratching hardwood floors. Nothing is ever straightforward... :)
@@blackpaw29 hahaha indeed! I have the Dreame L10s Ultra as well, and that one will raise the pads and can go onto carpet. However like nearly all mopping robots, it can drag the lifted mop pads over carpeting. From what I’ve seen, Dreame’s spinning mop setup seems superior to Roborock’s mopping system, but I still need to test Roborock’s products.
Just looked at mine. On the mop pads, there's 3 screws that remove. Maybe if you remove those, you can remove the mop pads from their holders. I hope you're able to get them swapped out!
Can not get it to mop . Water tank is full to line . Fully charged When mopping setting it 9n vac keeps saying fill tank . Tank is full . How do I get the vac to mop ??????
I would contact Dreametech customer support. I’ve never had any issues with mine not putting out water, but there might be a maintenance cycle you can run on the wash station that will fix it. Is the base tray all clear? They can clog, but unlikely that’s the issue.
it's really bad, I regret switching from Irobot to Dreambot w10. it vacuums very poorly, misses mass and it does not go close to walls and corners. the small brush falls off at very small obstacles. must drain and refill the water after 1 use. the dust container is very small and no indication when the dust container is full. mops the floor very poorly, has no sensor for whether there is dirt on the carpet. No google assistant. Not a good buy.
Thank you! Hard to find video specific to this model ❤

Good question! It will not travel over the rug with the mop pads attached. If it can’t reach the dock on its own, it will stop and ask for help.

@@VacTech1 Oh, I wish I could afford the L10s! :(
Do you have experience with the different kind of mobs for the W10 found on the internet?
Another great video. I think one look like a little too much maintenance for me. How do you think these robot vacs handle dogs?
They’re not all created equal, but good ones like this model are great for keeping up with pet hair.
Neato has shutdown few days ago. is your neato still ok?
How can you replace the mops? They are really attached to the wheels and the refills don't have the wheel with them.

How did you remove the side brush? Thanx!
It just pulls off, but it takes a little effort. Be sure to press it back on snugly as well, it’ll pop back into place. Hope this helps!

Where do I find the maintenance tips ?
@@harrydonald Dreametech customer service will probably be able to give you those, or guide you to them.
Thank you
