I’m surprised the Moment of Truth scandal wasn’t #1. For anybody’s interested, she answered truthfully to many, MANY awkward questions, pretty much destroying her family life. The best (or worst) part: the very last question was the easiest, and the only one she lied on - “Do you thing you are a good person?”
I wouldnt say easy question, since she was found to have lied, it says that somewhere deep in her mind she doesnt think she's a good person and she's in denial about that.
The girl on the polygraph answered everything honestly, which destroyed her marriage. The reason she lost is because her last question was "Do you think you are a good person?". She said yes and it said she was lying. Probably the most memorable moment of television I've ever seen.
Watched the video, I’d say the guy was clearly in the wrong. The point of the game show was to see who could hold onto the car the longest while each contestant worked to piss each other off. While she was tapping his head with her heels and shit talking him in the beginning he reacted and threw food in her face (so he’s the asshole on this start), then she continued doing the heel stuff and shit talking him. Next she threw her heels at people and him (not a full whip throw) he took the heels and broke all of them (which cost her how much money, I’ll keep this on even since she did get somewhat violent by throwing her heels but that was only after he threw food at her face), then she started lifting her leg around his face area on top of the car while shit talking him and he acted like a bitch and got violent and attacked her. I'm stunned at how many people can justify #3. She tapped him lightly with her shoe and he acted like a complete man-baby, throwing her to the ground and punching her in the face. Don't give me the BS of gender-reversal. If the genders were reversed I would have the same response, as would any reasonable person. Also don't give me the BS of being provoked. As though being tapped gently with a shoe is provocation, but when he publicly gropes her, she isn't allowed to be provoked. Honestly, if you're able to justify that, I feel sorry for you.
Given how long those events go on for (having to keep your hand on the car can go for days) and how he reacted to that, also only showing 20 seconds, I'm pretty sure she must've done alot more than that throughout the length of the event to deserve a punch. It just happened to be the last straw But then again I haven't seen it either. Just both sides of the coin.

One thing I've always said about the Popsicle Twins...the cuter one (on the left) has no idea what she's doing. The other ( not as cute one) knows exactly what she's doing. such is life.
Except, when you beat the perp after he's on the ground, you're a psycho for continue a fight that was done then and there. Plus, she did'nt smack him, she scuffed him on head by being sexually provocative. It seemed like a light whack that will be forgotten in a few minutes, not a slam to the ground dazing the person before getting their nose broken for a open hand that be permanent. Even if that was a dude, that guy would still be a psycho for being so aggressive in how he reacted.
I remember playing Hangman with my friend in Geography class. I had guessed two letters. "a" and "e". There were three a's. I thought for a few seconds and I said "Strait of Gibraltar." and my friend was stunned. She just started at me for a few seconds and demanded to know how I knew the answer. I have no idea. I just knew what it was xD;
How about the guy on 'Press Your Luck' who learned the 'random' patterns of the lights and knew exactly when to hit the buzzer. One turn he spent about an hour with hit after hit, getting up to like over $100,000. They never aired the episode and didn't let him take home the money either. He technically didn't cheat, he just beat the game at its own game.
I'm sure she was. She was 16-17 when she started, and during her youth, no one considered anyone of that age to be a "kid", though we know better now. Predatory people in entertainment with power and connections going after kids, teens and young adults of both sexes is an evil practice of very long-standing. Whenever I've seen a news report on Bieber, or the Nick and Disney kids acting out, for example, I've wondered if something unsavory happened to them at the hands of adults in Hollywood.
They're not 100% accurate and there are ways to supposedly beat them, but for game purposes the polygraph is the final arbiter of what is and isnt a lie.
I remember when that "Moment of Truth" thing happened, I watched it when it was broadcast. It got the show cancelled because people just couldn't believe someone would go that far for money. It was considered to be in horrible taste. I think the wife wanted to give her husband a wake up call and, for some crazy reason, decided to do it on national tv. It was pretty scandalous at the time.
Sweet Jebus! The range on this list. It went from "... and she used Shazam to answer the questions. Tee hee" to "Get yo hands off my car! *Blasts girl in the face*"
...so, a guy accidentally hits the price reveal button (or outright cheats) and Bob gives him the prize, anyway? How does that even work? Bob should have either got himself a new contestant or should have voided the prize (as the guy did fail to guess the proper amount on his own).
Personally, I thought he was trying to cheat, but if Barker had outright accused him of doing that and the guy denied it, that could've been bad PR for the show so I suspect it was decided just to let him have the prize to avoid any problems.
However, by doing so, he gave the guy a prize that he hadn't earned. The fair way to handle it was to treat it as if the guy attempted to guess the price of the prize - but failed; which would have allowed him to still proceed to the wheel to try to get a spot in the final showdown. Instead, they rewarded a guy who may have been trying to cheat. My guess is that they went with the option they had so they could collect the taxes on the prize they gave the cheater.
Yeah okay that Russian girl shouldn't have been provoking him, but slamming someone to the ground and nearly breaking their nose is not an appropriate response.
Banjo Peppers there's a few things that you have to take into consideration before you judge this guy: 1) HE'S RUSSIAN 2) SHES RUSSIAN 3) THE SHOW IS RUSSIAN AND 4) HE IS RUSSIAN. Did I mention that it's about Russians
I remember the Gong Show as a child during the 80's. Especially the guys who would come out wearing oversized top hats that came to their chest. They would use make-up to paint faces on their abdomens and dance around.
"Punched her until she bled" is pretty deceitful framing language, since he only punched her once. And you didn't see the whole event. She was nowhere near innocent, and the other contestants were all fed up with her as well. She almost took his eye out with her stiletto heel, and that was just _one_ of her many assaults on the others.
If you think that's a punch, you must be a female. In his perspective he took it easy on her. Ask Rihanna what a punch is... She know. Bet you still listen to Chris too. He whaled on her for 10 second. Count to 10 seconds that's a looong time to get punched in the face kid.
Let's not forget the 1978 episode of The Dating Game where serial killer Rodney Alcala appeared as an eligible date. Thankfully the woman who chose him declined the date because he was "too creepy".
I honestly believe "The Moment of Truth" should of been higher. Relationships got broken up, marriages ended, families split apart, and people lost jobs all behind that show. That show is evil as hell.
When I saw the title has "scandal" I thought it would be about "sex favors", insane contracts, money thingies, governament thingies or the conspiracy theory that these shows are built for and thrive with the humiliation of participants... It's good to stay relatively light hearted and stick to random uniqueness from time to time
I've gotten 2 Wheel of Fortune puzzles as soon as they showed them - no letters - "Dick Van Dyke" & "Marge & Homer Simpson". I've gotten puzzles with one letter many times. Whenever they do a contestant search in New York, they never pick my postcard to audition. Wahhhhhh.
Artyom Arty Idiots will never stop being annoying, thats because theyre idiots.. imagine your mother annoys someone really bad and they give her a good slap. Doesnt sound that good anymore.

Aren't game shows family friendly?
Check out the number 3 entry 6:48 in.
Doctor Awesomeness hence why this moments would be on a list of scandals
Doctor Awesomeness tell that to the Japanese. Some of their game shows are shocking...
Not all game shows are "family-friendly."
Hell no. Ever watch modern day Match Game with Alec Baldwin?
In soviet Russia, game show plays you!
"That moment of truth" is for the brave!
Oh no .. I would not have my personal life out on public for money.
NNOOOOO!!
That Russian really did his WWE homework
One thing I've always said about the Popsicle Twins...the cuter one (on the left) has no idea what she's doing. The other ( not as cute one)
knows exactly what she's doing.
such is life.
Read this whole scrolling and scrolled back up real quick i just knew this was recent
@@businessbuilder92 ?
LOLOLOLMFAO
I remember watching the Popsicle Twins live and midway through their act, the FCC came on and stopped the broadcast...one disappointed kid!
#3 = equality. A man wouldn't go up to another man in a speedo and proceed to smack him with his shoe, he would know he would get his ass kicked.
@@re1010 You do know being a psychopath is an illness, right? Hitting somone while they're down is not being a psychopath.
How was Kaitlyn burk a scandal? She didnt cheat she just use her deduction skill
Only the Russian dude, murderer, and the marriage one would honestly be the only ones that you could consider scandalous
Clickbait, just to actually post this video, because they don't do Top 13s.
i'm gonna give you the prize! get off the stage! XD
I remember playing Hangman with my friend in Geography class. I had guessed two letters. "a" and "e". There were three a's. I thought for a few seconds and I said "Strait of Gibraltar." and my friend was stunned. She just started at me for a few seconds and demanded to know how I knew the answer. I have no idea. I just knew what it was xD;
Zombie Fujoshi you could of given me 16 out of the 17 letters and I still wouldn’t have gotten that
Cool story bro
Titanic Rainbow you're so smart
The popsicle twins were the greatest talent ever in broadcast television.
He body read the host! That's playing the game without playing the game!
If you can win "Who wants to be a millionaire" just by reading the hosts body-language... You deserve the win, that is AMAZING
How was #8 a scandal? Just damn good playing.
Yeah, Yeah.
Thank you. Being good at a game is not the same as cheating. She was both smart and lucky, and those are GOOD things.
This is what Jaye P. Morgan said when she gave her score: "You know, that's how I got started in this business"-and it brought down the house.
Moment of truth has ruined SO many relationships...
Polygraph machines don't even work lol
They're not 100% accurate and there are ways to supposedly beat them, but for game purposes the polygraph is the final arbiter of what is and isnt a lie.
I remember when that "Moment of Truth" thing happened, I watched it when it was broadcast. It got the show cancelled because people just couldn't believe someone would go that far for money. It was considered to be in horrible taste. I think the wife wanted to give her husband a wake up call and, for some crazy reason, decided to do it on national tv. It was pretty scandalous at the time.
#3 Was funny as hell. Hit a guy get hit lol XD
Lol she barely tapped him on the head with her shoe and he broke her nose. Pretty equal. why are people happy to see someone's nose get broken
Thumbnail got that good S U C C

I can't believe the Gong show "popsicle" stunt especially since we are talking late 70's network tv here!!
that "NO" at 2:12 killed me
When you click a video just for the thumbnail.
7:19 is because she hid him with her heal shoes
A real man NEVER intentionally harms a woman like the way that guy did!!
@@chuckycheese84 Idk, man. Looks pretty manly to me!
Yes, I have got a nickel.
Sweet Jebus! The range on this list. It went from "... and she used Shazam to answer the questions. Tee hee" to "Get yo hands off my car! *Blasts girl in the face*"
I'm sorry but the man that beat that lady up with the bikini was funny😂
...so, a guy accidentally hits the price reveal button (or outright cheats) and Bob gives him the prize, anyway?
Bottom line , the guys "answer" was wrong. Bob natch explained the rules, he lost, NoW get of my stage, yuk yuk.
Uhm, what??? The constestant pays the taxes to the gov'ment on any prizes won, not the game show.
wally man - That's what I meant. It's how all game shows work.
Nothing is ever free.
Yeah okay that Russian girl shouldn't have been provoking him, but slamming someone to the ground and nearly breaking their nose is not an appropriate response.
Yes it is.
If more people responded like the guy less people will act like the girl.
This is your ex boyfriend Frank!
Audience: ohhhhhh!!!!!
When the ex shows up you know shit will hit the fan.
I remember the Gong Show as a child during the 80's. Especially the guys who would come out wearing oversized top hats that came to their chest. They would use make-up to paint faces on their abdomens and dance around.
" I'm going home!"
Me: You tellem Bob!
there were only like 3 things on this list and can be counted as scandals given the reasoning in the video
I don't agree that studying the show and knowing that I've was the most common contraction is cheating. It is just practising and knowledge.
So everyone’s just gonna ignore that guy who knocked a woman down and punched her until she bled..?
"Punched her until she bled" is pretty deceitful framing language, since he only punched her once. And you didn't see the whole event. She was nowhere near innocent, and the other contestants were all fed up with her as well. She almost took his eye out with her stiletto heel, and that was just _one_ of her many assaults on the others.
If you think that's a punch, you must be a female. In his perspective he took it easy on her. Ask Rihanna what a punch is... She know. Bet you still listen to Chris too. He whaled on her for 10 second. Count to 10 seconds that's a looong time to get punched in the face kid.
I couldn't stop laughing at #3 for some reason
I remember "Have You Got A Nickel". I also remember Phillis Diller saying she didn't get it. I was 17 during that year. Imagine that!
Dang, you witnissed history XD! You saw it on air?
“we’re using the word scandal lightly” meaning you’re using it incorrectly.
The russian one was awesome!!!
"Scandals" in America has a whole diffrent other meaning, this gotta be a Canadian channel.

Watchmojo was to lazy to make such subtitle. While I think this is the best channel on earth.
Let's not forget the 1978 episode of The Dating Game where serial killer Rodney Alcala appeared as an eligible date. Thankfully the woman who chose him declined the date because he was "too creepy".
The gong show sounds like the closest thing America has ever got to a Japanese game show. Their stud is always hilariously crazy!
just seems like Got Talent?
@@Erlisch1337 America's got talent is the gong show on steroids pretty much.
What's wrong with the "ive got a good feeling about this" part?
Why do I love these videos
I honestly believe "The Moment of Truth" should of been higher. Relationships got broken up, marriages ended, families split apart, and people lost jobs all behind that show. That show is evil as hell.
You forgot the murderer on blind date
7:14 is a perfect example how fast reality catches up with you if you think a guy wont hit you bec you're a girl.
IST Fitness PA please say it again this is so true
Iron Shark PA so he can sexually harass them abuse her? She wasn’t violent towards him and he was towards her
potato pig115 one she more or less scuffed him, and it seemed to be accident given the context.
Cara dumb ass
Wahhhhhh.
Lmfao broke her nose hahaha
that women got equality straight to the face :D
Firya yeah, every one deserves to be beaten up just because theyre annoying. Jesus grow up
if douches dont get a beating they will never stop being annoying. That "woman" should be thankful he taught her a lesson
Artyom Arty Idiots will never stop being annoying, thats because theyre idiots.. imagine your mother annoys someone really bad and they give her a good slap. Doesnt sound that good anymore.
Yes, it's really pesky when you only have sex with women by either paying them or raping them. I'd be in a bad mood too ...

Girl: I'm telling, she scratched the car with her shoes!
Guy: Let her scratch.
Girl: I have a lot of questions now, after all these moves.
Guy's reaction: You shouldn't have done that.
Светлана Чернашкина Really? That's what they said? Because I'm a little rusty in my Russian but I thought she said kiss my ass and then he said you bony bitch and then she said look at my shoe and then he said look at the ground and then she said well the ground is hard and then he said look at my fist and then she said I can't because you have up of my nose
Okay... what the fuck happened after that incident on #3?

7:20 she deserved it in my opinion.
Smacking a man like you own the place and thinking nothing can happen to you. That sent her right back down to earth.
I agree but the punch to the face I say no.
He could've just smacked her, and still held on to the car though :p
You people are awful and sick you should never hit a woman and you all deserve the deepest part of hell if you agreed with this man or are this man
I bet if he did nothing back the event of her hitting him would never reach news or any sort of attention because we men just gotta suck it up right.
@@marksman4599 I also agree...he should've handled this in a more mature way by calling an employee or security worker there.
I’m happy I was born in 2004
wtf why guess the phrase and get it right with one letter? she could have racked up the money and then guessed
Kristopher Tower i think she was scared of the bankrupt or something
She knew it was a Prize Puzzle
It was a prize puzzle and the prize is a great trip usually that's worth around 10k. No point risking losing a turn or a bankrupt when you know it under those circumstances
#8 looks smart, but it would've been smarter to guess more letters since she already knew the answer.
