This is my number one fragrance! I only had one person ever compliment me on this fragrance. When I first smelled it, I couldn’t understand the hype. I also know exactly what you mean by bubble bath - it’s the soapy clean sweetness up close lol.
I've watched so many frangrance influencers over lockdown but finally found a real perfumer that's educating and has great insight..I'm broke but smell good...thanks !!
This works amazingly well in the heat. I really luv it. I know what you mean by 'bubblebath' but in the air it feels much different and after long dry down is a very comforting smell.
As a woman, I much prefer Lyric Man to Lyric Woman but not on my skin--this smells absolutely gorgeous on clothes! Sprayed this on a 100% cotton garment and the way it smelled made me sigh in deep appreciation. I also think this would make an amazing shower gel, bar soap, shampoo, and even a candle! Just not something I want to wear on my skin...
I love the way you are able to visualise the fragrance. The way in which you move your hands literally sketches out in front of the viewer what the fragrance 'looks like'! Keep up the reviews and the good work Aaron!
I used to do the same when I played music when I was a child. My brain paints perfume like it’s music. I believe the perfume brain is connected to the music brain.

Lyric is one of my favorites, but you’re right about it being an acquired taste, and definitely not for everyone. It’s one that the more you wear it and smell it the more it grows on you. Imitation Man is another unique Rose scent they from the house (Rose, Citron, Orris), and as usual with Amouage once you spray it on, it’s there until you scrub it off lol. What I like about Amouage is they have so many creations that are each so unique, that you’ll find some, or a lot that you can’t stand. But then you eventually find one that speaks to you, and when it does it REALLY speaks to you. The house in general because of this, really makes you think outside the box in what you look for in a fragrance I find.
@@uriah777 Both are amazing, Lyric is like having a fresh cut rose in front of you. You can even smell the “stem” and leaves from galbanum giving it a green aspect to it.

You pegged the description of what my thoughts were of this one. Being that I personally don't wear Rose, this one peaked my interest. I still wouldn't wear it, but I appreciated how Smoot it was. I was expecting a dry, sharp & abrasive potpourri Rose assault. This is one I can appreciate on someone else; from a small distance. The soapiness made it safe for me (to an extent).
It’s the Blue note that makes me love this one so much. I have many, many rose fragrances so I’m always hunting for a twist. I love this Uber fresh out the bath rose. It’s very cool to me 😊
The freshness is the lime offsetting the heavy rose. This is a great night out fragrance, especially in hotter climates. At first I wasn’t sure, but try it on for a night and see if your opinion changes.
You definitely got a new sub here! I was starting to get bored with fragrances which I hate. Even my collection reflects that. It's getting low and I'm confused at what I want now too. You nailed it perfectly when you compared it to bubble Bath! I don’t know why, or what ingredients were used to create it like you do, but that’s exactly what I thought when I sampled it a few months ago. Well actually, it reminds me of washing up liquid, I found it very unpalatable and harsh . Amouage are naturally quite polarising anyway, I love Reflection & Jubilation but can’t stand Lyric, Dia Man or Beloved.
I just got this, I had some of the original Lyric Man and was running low. On initial application I was disappointed but it does get better. Not as good as the original, but still quite good. Also, I paid $130 USD for 100 mL which isn't a bad price.

I wanted to ask you, since the “season” It's about to start.. would you make a video where you recommend some groom fragrances for such a solemn day and who will we remember for a lifetime? Thank you anyway for all the passion you put into each of your videos.

I have to agree with you. I sampled this and while I think it was put together very well, the scent itself just didn't do it for me. Coming from the house of Amouage, I was really hoping it would go in a more dirty or animalic direction.

i tried this after hearing all the ravers raving about it. Tried it in heathrow airport, walked around for ages wanting to like it. And Aaron nails it. Absolutely not for me.
It's funny I felt the exact same way first smelled lyric man I really didn't like it... then I wore it when it was hot outside. If You give it a little bit of time to dry down with some heat it turns into something incredible and Highly complimented. This was before the reformulation. The new version isn't quite the same to me
Agreed on many points. I can't speak for the other Amouage fragrances, but you'll still smell this 24 hours on your skin. It's hilarious. This feels like a rose for people who don't like rose. It's a green rose with a lot of a clean note, the aforementioned bubble bath smell. I oscillate between thinking it smells like incense, and thinking it smells soapy. For better or worse, this doesn't smell very Amouagey. It is a very quiet and inoffensive fragrance compared to the other hugely Middle-Eastern style fragrances from the house.
It is not a bubble bath it is the most cheapest bathroom rose freshner....i do have...i spray it in the bathroom where my cat litter resides.....i kept monitoring it from opening till the day after.....you will continue smelling it and you will be more disappointed....

Thanks Aaron
Great review. Can you do some reviews on Xerjoff fragrances like Erba Pura and Naxos
i tried this after hearing all the ravers raving about it. Tried it in heathrow airport, walked around for ages wanting to like it. And Aaron nails it. Absolutely not for me.
You should review Andres Croxxato man
Aaron please review Kalemat by Arabian Oud. I think you will love this and it would be really interesting to see your reaction!
I hated it at first but my son got into it and I kept catching wafts of it. Not it's one of my favor though I don't reach for it
Can you do your Top 3 favourites from PDM please Aaron? 🙏
It's funny I felt the exact same way first smelled lyric man I really didn't like it... then I wore it when it was hot outside. If You give it a little bit of time to dry down with some heat it turns into something incredible and Highly complimented. This was before the reformulation. The new version isn't quite the same to me
What's the difference between the formulations?
@@vincenthusvh it’s the same lol
That's for the info on the reform'.
If anyone perceives a difference in the new batches, drop a comment.
Bubble bath . Period .
But....very ,very beautiful.
Love it.
I Like that how you pronounce it OMAGE
I blind bought this and gave it to my mother. She loves it, way too feminine IMHO.
I’d like to hear your opinion on Lyric Woman. 😊
This is so unique scent.
LMFAO I love when you take your hands to the back of your head aka fighting back the PETTY DEMON !!! Let it go chile !!!😼😼😼
I love Lyric man ❤❤❤
As a masculine leaning male I prefer many of Amouage female targeted fragrances.
My husband doesn’t like rose much and loves this scent.
It is not a bubble bath it is the most cheapest bathroom rose freshner....i do have...i spray it in the bathroom where my cat litter resides.....i kept monitoring it from opening till the day after.....you will continue smelling it and you will be more disappointed....
how about a shot from Givenchy trouble-fete?
you have such a soothing voice. have you thought about doing ASMR?
Awesome video
please review Memoir Man from Amouage!
