I race these on a giant indoor carpet CRC black carpet track they are a blast lots of traction on the carpet and way faster on carpet track we have 7 different classes for road course and 5 different oval classes we switch each week from road course to oval and race every week all year round inside doing 70 mph with these cars
Let's be clear: nitro would sound epic...and not be remotely close to the real thing. The frequency and intensity of the F1 whine is unmatched: one has to put on one's earplugs in *the parking lot* of the stadium, much less in the stands or near the course.
If someone gets in your way, drive through them! The one car rolling over was pretty cool especially in slow motion. To be able to control these cars, these guy's spend a lot of time on the track especially at ground level. I would imagine it would be easier if they all stood on a raised platform and looked down over the track. Nice video.
Awesome F1. I like how well they hug the track. I have been looking at Formula cars and find that they are either toy grade or super high end but nothing in between. I would love to have a 1/10 scale budget version that could be upgraded. Do you have any suggestions? Just something to have fun with but not for racing. Maybe a 2s or 3s brushless F1. 👍👍 new sub
@@EssentialRC Good point. There is a small track close to where I live and I have seen some F1's running there. I should go hang out and learn from people who own them and see first hand how they are designed. Thanks again for all your help.
@@EssentialRC I like to answer that standard question with, "Faster than a dog on the same surface." Granted, you cannot take the F1s afield, but it is a great rule of thumb that expresses how fast they are in real terms. Dogs run circles around humans, literally...everyone has experienced that.
They come as a kit. Never built one myself but I think they are fairly easy to assemble...and it's worth doing because if you assemble it yourself you will have the knowledge to fix it and upgrade parts if needed.

Loving that. Shame they cannot have audio systems on them. Good timing with F1 starting this weekend 👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
More exciting and much better racing than the real F1 boring processions.

Living the life!
No way you’re doing 70mph
Awesome. I only wish they all had screaming nitro engines. That would sound epic and probably close to the real thing
I know! Nitro 100% adds to the experience

Check out 8th nitro onroad world championship
Loved it 😊👍
Thanks 😀
Loved the video dom! Interesting cars and I'm sure it was fun to film and watch
Different challenge to film something like this. It really tested out the fast zoom mode on my camera.
This is brilliant, know of any RC boat meetups or races in Essex at all?? RC my new interest 😂✌️🚤🌊
brilliant them 👍
Fast cars

They stand on a raised platform about 10 feet above the track off to one side to give them a view across the whole track
Black flag!
Wicked I'm build one on my channel. It's got a secret weapon! Nice vid brav!
Wow nice

You need to look for Schumacher RC F1 or XRAY X1. I think these are the kits typically used like in this video.
@@EssentialRC Thanks for the info. I may even find a used one that I can work on. The XRAY seems like a great choice.
If you go to your local RC club likely to be some for sale if they support F1 racing. It's how we got ours.

They have $50 F1 RC cars at Costco. You have a choice of Redbull or Ferrari
Nitro rules😉😉#1

Tamiya, Schumacher are but a few brands that make RC F1 cars.
They're awesome. What scale are they?
1/10
Hey Bro great video and driving. Which F1 model is that brother that by the way. On my I found it under your information. Thanks.
Wow! How do you keep up!
It takes practice believe me. Quite exhausting after 2 hours of filming.
4:58 that's a suicide move. Damn. What happened? He had a crash earlier right, did something break?
Wow! How fast do they go?
Not that fast. 30mph if that. Scale speed is spot on though.
Thank you for the quick reply!

Lewis Hamilton
What happened to these cars. Are they not being manufactured anymore?
Google Schumacher F1 RC and XRay F1 RC
@@EssentialRC so i have build them on my own? Or are readymade pieces available?

@@EssentialRC oh ok but Schumacher f1 rc don't have f1 cars anymore and in xray they have some pdf so I'm guessing I need to 3d print parts
What brand are these F1 cars?
You need to be looking for Schumacher or Xray
