Thank you for this detailed and easy to understand install video. I work out of town and was thinking that I'd have to change out all of my garage coach lights for ones with day/night sensors. Your video just saved me an awful lot of time and $$$. I used your link to buy this one. Thanks again.
@@williamdavidson4576 oh really. Not sure why that is. I have the same one and I use led in my outdoor light and not had a problem. I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know!
@@FloridaFamFive Lmao that’s the truth man. Loved watching that show man. I do miss the shows from back in the days. Stuff on tv is not like how it used to be.
Does this control the mail box lights too? Our mail box is surrounded in rockery, and has two electric lights on each side of it. I can't find how to turn them on and off. And I know they must be on a timer because they will be off for months, then will unexpectedly come on for one night, then go off again for another couple months. lol... We have the timer in your video, but i have it controlling our front door lights, and it's working perfectly. When programming it I didn't notice a second option for mailbox lights.
It's possible for it to be working on your mailbox lights. Hit the program button and run threw the programs and see it has a second program running on it. But if it only comes on every 2 months I would say it's on an outdoor timer on the side of your house or somewhere outside. I say this because if the wall timer was programmed then it would have to be programmed to come on at least 1 time a week as this is a 7-day timer. There is no place for it to run every 2 months 1 time and off for 2 months. I would say your mailbox lights might not be on this timer but if it is you could have a short somewhere keeping it from coming on. I hope this helps! Let me know if you get it worked out.
@@FloridaFamFive It helps a little. Our timer keypad is about 20 years old, so the buttons look a little bit different and it is still tricky. I played around with the timer and tonight at 7:00pm, if the lights come on, then I will know I was successful.....and in the morning I programmed the lights to turn off at 6:am. If all that works that I will be happy. But if it doesn't work....I will scream!!

I have switches all over my house for different outdoor lights I’d need like 10 of these.
I want to comment but in Spanish.🤪

Your welcome.
Will this work with motion sensor style floodlights?
It will.
What does it mean on the package 40 Watt minimum?
@@tanajenkinsful I run two LEDs off of it and it seems to work fine.
Love your excellent use of old time infomercials 🦍
Right, set it and forget it! Thanks for checking out our video.
Killed it with the Barney😂😂😂
Old school! Thanks for watching and reminding me how funny this video is..... Thanks 😊
How about change in time of daylight daily? Leviton does that, but does not have battery backup for power outage.
PS. I noticed that your Amazon link does not work with LED bulbs. Can you change it to this one RPLS730B1000? This switch does. Thx.

THANK YOU SIR!!!!! I hit the subscribe button and I'm off to Home Depot!.....
Thanks for subscribing! I must make a trip to home depot every other day lol.
Does this come with back lit screen?
No it does not. Makes it a little hard to see because of it.
Does it works with LED lights ?
Yes it does. Thats what I'm using . Unlike most you can use any light bulb 💡 you want. Its not wifi
This really was helpful. Didn't realize that the type of bulb would even affect. Just got LED bulbs 💡 Thanks you
@@hotsupra97 I found it to work with led. All the standard light bulbs should work as far as I know.
@@FloridaFamFive hey appreciate the input. Looking forward to giving it a go!

My lights dim instead of turning off. Not sure why. Is anyone else experiencing this same issue?
It shouldn't dim at all as this timer would not have the ability to do that. could have another problem going on.
Oh the color difference would drive me crazy.
What color difference?
Didn't show how to program timer.
