    I had always had a child like faith, but I saw Passion of The Christ a week before my 10th birthday. I needed to really see a grueling torturing of my Lord to understand why He died and suffered. I was baptized on my birthday that following week. I also got married on my 27th birthday. People ask me constantly why give up my birthday to so many other things. Because I despise my life. My life is not mine. It is God's on high. I don't wish to be celebrated in any capacity other than making God known through my worship and devotion to His design.

    I am so glad to hear that Christ is present in the Anglican Eucharist as I’ve encountered him in ours. Proves there is tangible hope in christian unity for our Protestant brothers and sisters.

      No, Jesus is not present in the Anglican parody of the sacred Holy Communion. When King Henry VIII chose his own selfish desires instead of Jesus Christ, he created his own religion and made himself God - saying he knew better than God.
      No, Jesus Christ is not present in the Anglican communion because it is not His Church.
      If you are an Anglican, this is a welcome and loving invitation to become Catholic asap. Find a traditional Latin mass.

      @@bubblestar847 I do the attend the Latin rite (even though the Novus Ordo is valid.) I hate to be the one to quote scripture but this is pertinent:
      38. John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us.”
      39. Jesus replied, “Do not prevent him. There is no one who performs a miracle in my name who can at the same time speak ill of me.
      40. For whoever is not against us is for us.
      Those of us in the true Catholic Apostolic faith MUST heed this. We must effort to bring them into communion with us regardless of their past error.

      @@bubblestar847 I must add that sedevacantists and the SSPX are guilty of the same error as the Anglicans

    When people talk about becoming a Christian at their baptism, I cannot relate to that. When they talk about becoming a Christian when they met Christ and made Him the Lord of their life... I can totally relate to that. Those stories usually align with what was taught by the apostles and is recorded in the New Testament.

    I highly respect Calvin Robinson, but Christ is most certainly NOT present in the Anglican Eucharist.
    There is only One holy, Catholic and apostolic Church.

      @cockroachv Год назад +2

      Can you explain why?

    • @xavierramos1270
      @xavierramos1270 Год назад +3

      @@cockroachv The Catholic Church teaches that the sacrament of Holy Orders, conferred through apostolic succession, is necessary for the valid celebration of the Eucharist. According to Catholic theology, only validly ordained priests, who have received the sacrament of Holy Orders in the line of apostolic succession, have the power to perform the consecration and bring about the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

      The dying thief on Calvary prayed a nine word prayer to Christ..." Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom". Jesus saw his faith and said " Today you will be with me in paradise". That thief couldn't fold his hands or bow his knees in prayer. He simply recognised Jesus as Lord and asked him to remember him when he inherited his kingdom. So, was that man a Protestant, a Catholic, orthodox? No, he was a sinner plain and simple as we all are. To even believe that a certain church has special privilege is Phariseeism.

    • @xavierramos1270
      @xavierramos1270 9 месяцев назад

      @@WHU63 How many churches did Christ found when he told Peter "Upon this Rock I will build my Church?" Protestantism has tens of thousands of denominations. Some denominations advocate for abortion rights and gay marriage which are directly contrary to Christ's teachings. So no they are not all equal.

    • @WHU63
      @WHU63 9 месяцев назад

      @@xavierramos1270 So does God have segregation in heaven for all the different denominations or are you saying that just Catholics go to heaven? Read John 3 :16 again...For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life... Salvation is through Christ who died for our sins on Calvary and what our personal relationship to him is. There are Protestant ministers and Pastors who support abortion and same sex marriage. There are Catholic clergy who believe the same. They'll have to give an explanation to God some day as to why they disobeyed what his word said. It's not a denomination that takes you to heaven, it's your personal relationship with Christ. There are modern day Pharisees. All their religion is outward for everyone to see. But their hearts are dark to Christ. God won't judge me by denomination... By grace are ye saved through faith and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God , not of works lest any man should boast...Ephesians 2:8&9

    'Jesus said "unless a man is BORN AGAIN he cannot see the kingdom of God" ' (John 3.3, 33-34)-you Must CALL OUT to JESUS to be 'saved" & then 'sealed' w/the HOLY SPIRIT. The LORD does not force himself on anyone. One who asks it will be opened-- By NOT Calling out then you are in eternity in burning lake of fire (Revelation 13)--

    I love the honesty of you both.
    I was sent to a Church of England school by my parents, who are actually wiccan witches. Which I did not was a real thing as a child, I was an atheist because of the school treatment. Not explaining God and Jesus properly and not explaining why it was wrong for me to be left-handed at school, just punishing me for it. I may have found God and Jesus earlier if they would have spent that time teaching me, I wasn't causing trouble as a child I was just slow in struggling with LGBTQ feelings at the time and gender identity mental health. So trying to understand what was wrong with me and why I could not get my head clear around those thoughts and feelings not going away, I became depressed as a child. From 8 years old onwards I planned to find a way to commit suicide, but Jesus saved me from making a bad decision thankfully. 🙏 Unfortunately that treatment in junior school led me to resent religion at an early age instead of loving Jesus and Christianity. Now as an adult I realise I can make my own decisions and I am blessed for that. ☺️ 🙏
