    It's a shame that a person has to explain and then repeat that she had septoplasy and not rhinoplasty, and that it's not for cosmetic reasons.

    • @ErikawithaK
      @ErikawithaK  2 месяца назад +6

      why is that a shame? its different procedures with different results and different healing. I just wanted to make it clear what I had done, especially since my nose was crooked to begin with. As you know, the internet is full of trolls, I also didn't want people telling me that my nose is crooked, before and after septo surgery, because I know. It wasn't for cosmetic purposes. nothing wrong with being crystal clear with the procedure you had.

  • @Smiley_101
    @Smiley_101 11 месяцев назад +36

    Not every surgery is cosmetic reasons . There peoples who suffer through car accident , scars , or breathing problems that they have to make the best out of the situations to improved their health and self esteem. It something not many talk about much on social media bc we are more used to healthy peoples doing it for cosmetic but not the unfortunates that didn’t ask for ..

    • @ErikawithaK
      @ErikawithaK  11 месяцев назад +2

      I think it's great we live in a time where we can make cosmetic changes to our appearance. I think it is wonderful that people talk about their experiences as well, so people know what to expect from recovery. But yes I agree, it isn't always for cosmetic purposes. While my nose could have definitely used a cosmetic fix, I just really needed to breathe right above everything. Thank you for watching and for your comment!
