Aerosmith is one of the most diverse bands of all time. Rats In The Cellar to You See Me Crying. Basically because Aerosmith has the greatest frontman of all time.
I completely agree. I don’t think there is one bad song this band has ever done, even with the later albums. I love it all. I just wish they would finally release more outtakes from older albums we never got to hear.
It actually was officially released! Just very obscurely. It was on a Japanese EP titled Vacation Club. The other tracks on the EP are just alternate mixes of Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Angel, and Rag Doll. But then there's this as the lone new song! They also recorded a version with Willie Nelson, which was forgotten until years later. It was uncovered and included on The Essential Willie Nelson, albeit under the title One Time Too Many. Sadly, that version seems to not be available on the streaming version of the album, so you'll probably have to track down a CD copy. There are also videos on RUclips of Steven performing it with Willie live.
Je me souviens de cette vidéo en 2010 une rencontre rock Steven Tyler et Willie Nelson Country dans le live at Farm aid 25 la song One time Too Many and once is Enough magnifique deux legendes steven 76 ans maintenant willie 91 ans respect total je les adore tous les deux grand moment de musique inoubliable Tellement d'émotion merci Josh 🤘de France
it's sad that there are so good music forgotten or never listened by the fans, like major barbara and hollywood, i really wish they could put all those songs in one album (i may wrote all wrong because my english sucks and aaaah anyway
I don’t think major Barbara is bad at all there’s MUCH worse. it was released on Pandora’s Box. yes Hollywood is an amazing song and it should’ve made permanent vacation
So here I am a friend recommended me to listen. It is part love part rock n part country. My friend is correct that Steven is definitely blessed. I don't think I am that different than others as to how music is a part of my past. I enjoy it and will continue to. Things I will never understand but get. Music I enjoy. Thank you.
This is great. I think that all the best Aerosmith songs haven't made the cut for their respective albums. Why hasn't this one been released officially on Permanent Vacation, why haven't they released Deuces Are Wild on Pump, why haven't they released Lizard Love, Black Cherry, Wham Bam, Legendary Child, Yo Momma, Meltdown, Strange... on Get A Grip, Bacon Biscuit Blues, Bridges Are Burning, Trouble, Little Grass Shack, Loretta, Where The Sun Never Shines, What Kind Of Lover, Innocent Man, Heart Of Passion, When The Monkey Comes... on Nine Lives. They have tons of great songs which they couldn't release because of the record labels disliking them. Fun fact. Because of the outtakes from Get A Grip that I listed, Steven had to complete a sex addiction rehab program.
Yeah they have so many good outtakes. Stylisticly the first part doesn't fit with the slick hair metal sound of Permanent Vacation, maybe why they left it off? Could've replaced that instrumental "The movie" though.
Bonjour je suis française je suis interessée par votre réponse et je cherche moi aussi des chansons du groupe comme Walking on Danger Street permanent vacation outtake- Innocent man and Hollywood nine lives era outtake and Scream in Pain THANK YOU
I believe I had this on a flip side to a single on permanent vacation. Great song. I cheated in life took love for granted oh I paid the price. Wonderful lyrics love Aerosmith.
Edit: Well, I'm seeing other comments saying they owned it on a cassingle back in the day. So it's very possible I was wrong! 😅 But it was definitely on that Japanese EP, because I own it both on vinyl and CD! 😄 I'm not sure if it was on a B-side to a single in the US. But it was on a Japanese EP titled Vacation Club. Perhaps you had that? The other tracks on the EP are just alternate mixes of Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Angel, and Rag Doll. Hahaha only Aerosmith can do Rock/country kick arse music ,,, love this listening to this when full of piss like now,,, rock on from Australia 🇦🇺👍👍👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
This is on the b side of the 12 inch version of dude (looks like a lady) along with simoriah released in 1987, dude was then re released in 1990 with live versions of love in an elevator and walk this way
Steven’s my favorite singer and Aerosmith’s my fav band but I can’t listen to them after Permanent Vacation. Bad, overproduced songs devoid of dynamics. When was this recorded? It’s a whopping exception if it’s after 1987. In any case, thanks for the post!
@@johnnapier1892 doesn't necessarily mean it is bad because PUMP / Get A Grip are not bad albums or bad songs. Amazing, Cryin', Blind Man, The Other Side, Love In An Elevator, Janie's Got A Gun, they are definitely not bad songs... lol
He’s voice was horrible during their early years.. It’s just inspiring how he turned and became a vocal power house after years of hard work and sacrifices.
Well I guess even Aerosmith can make a song I don't like. =( sounds like a damn church song. Not a Christian one--like they wrote this FOR a church. Is it a cover?
I'm 4 seconds into this song and I love it already. I've never heard an Aerosmith tune sounding like this one!!!!
I love this f***ing song ever since I saw him belt it out with Willie at his birthday party.
This is about 75 to 100 times more country than any song on "country" radio today.
true
Boyfucknhowdy.......yeeeeehfucknhawww....steven got some cowshit on him
Check out Wilie Nelson’s version of it with Steven. They basically gave Willie the song
@@LittleArmada
It's great actually, the version that ST & Willie do.
I have that tune on a Willie Nelson Greatest hits with Willie singing the first verse.
Wow factor. ❤ Aerosmith... Steven Tyler... and This Song. ❤ 😊

Major Barbara is a piece of shit
ok
And I am a deep Aerosmith fan, I hate that song's guts. Glad it was never released.
Rafaela agreed
I don’t think major Barbara is bad at all there’s MUCH worse. it was released on Pandora’s Box. yes Hollywood is an amazing song and it should’ve made permanent vacation

Can't find this on iTunes! I had it as a B-side on a cassette single. Still love it!
I had this on a full sized single from 1993/94... The only time other that here have I heard this.
Ditto
Check out the RUclips Free Music App. The song should be there

this is an outtake from Permanent Vacation i believe. the video just has the wrong album cover
Permanent Vacation/Pump era yup.
What It Takes is basically a country music song.
Sedona Sunrise was written around this time too.
It's like half country and half rock n roll. Awesome song.
I love you Steven Tyler xx

I especially like the barking like a dog part
So Steven Tyler. Every time Aerosmith does a country or blues song it s a classic song.

How you don't like Pump and Get a Grip

This Is sublime...bona fide...fuckin xanxs
Wow. I’ve never even heard of this song and I’d like to think I’m a pretty big Aerosmith fan
That time Aerosmith changed their name to the eagles 🙉
He’s voice was horrible during their early years.. It’s just inspiring how he turned and became a vocal power house after years of hard work and sacrifices.
well you need to read more... in the early years, he used to change his voice that's why sounded different ...

how can you feel it is Gaspel when you listen to the country music? and this is written for Willie nelson. in fact not their song
thedazedbandman Maybe you were just to “DAZED & CONFUSED” when you heard it. 😂🙃🤣😂🙃 they play this song in my church! Man I’m dancing 💃
