- Last week, we took a spontaneous trip to Koh Phangan. We literally packed our bags, got on the ferry and started looking for accommodation. Due to COVID-19, the famous party island is now quieter than ever. Stay tuned for Part 2 where we do some exploring on the island!

What a view for coffee in the morning!
Beautiful place! They used to be booked out 24/7. We ran into a family who said they had to waitlist to stay here. Then covid hit, and now they are the only ones there for the last 6 months. Crazy times!

You got a very good deal but It is sad to see these hotels are so badly affected due to covid.
Yes, it’s sad to see for sure. Nothing much they can do aside from waiting for tourists to come back. Some hotels have either closed down temporarily or reduced their services/amenities (closed bars and restaurants) to reduce costs.

Did you have cell phone service while on the ferry...the whole time? How’s the cell phone service while on Koh Phangan? Which cell phone provider do you use?
The service was fine on the ferry and on Koh Phangan. It wasn’t super fast but we didn't have any problems at all and we are with True 😊
