This video is the first longer project I've ever made, and I even had some help! And for that I'm grateful.
These are all of the opponents you fight on the Punch-Out inspired Election Year Knockout game! Normal opponents isn't the official name, but that's what I like to call them.

I just adore the fact that they managed to slip so many subtle punch out references into the game through the opponents.

I think y'all are trying too hard to connect each boxer to a member of the Punch-Out cast. For sure, you'll see bits and pieces of it - Ted's Bull Rush parody and Warrin's Soda Popinski sequence - but I'd say most of these characters manage to retain some level of originality.

The only thing this is missing is knockout animations like in punch out that require special conditions to activate. Like getting hit with that hard hitter punch or smth special

**INFRACTIONS LIST**
Disclaimer: Due to the usual boxing limit being at 40 and most presidents being 50+, I kinda had to stretch the age-limit. I made it minimum 50 and maximum 60.
Jab Bush:
-Obviously, his shirt style. Very formal, but unallowed.
-His belt has a B on it, AKA his own branding. That‘s unallowed aswell.
-I‘m pretty sure you can‘t wear glasses in the ring, as they could be damaged or injure you with the glass.
3 Infractions in total, Grade: C-.
**UNCLE JOE**
-His clothing style offers no line of demarkation at the waist AND doesn‘t go down to his knees.
2 Infractions in total, Grade: C.
**A-OH**
-Too young to be president. Most presidents are atleast over 50.
-Glasses, the glass could injure your eyes or make you go BLIND during a fight.
-Illegal face covering in the form of lipstick.
3 Infractions, Grade: D, for Don‘t try until you‘re old enough.
**TED BRUZ**
-No Line of demarkation at the waist.
-Unallowed clothing style.
-Has a american-flag pin on his jacket, therefore, he brings an unnecessary accessory into the ring.
-Uses some kind of sci-fi tail to try and hit you with it. Obviously, NOT ALLOWED.
-Using magic to clone himself.
5 Infractions in total, Grade: F.
**CAP‘N CRENSHAW**
Or how I call him: CLEARLY A ESCAPEE FROM THE LOCAL ASYLUM.
-Illegal Hat.
-Unnecessary accessories on his shoulders and his belt.
-Illegal Jacket/Shirt and boots.
-Too long pants.
-*A FUCKING CANNON.* HE’S TRYING TO KILL YOU AT THIS POINT, AKA: Illegal weapon brought into the ring.
-He will from time to time use a sword to try and hit you with, ANOTHER illegal weapon.
9 Infractions in total, Grade: BANNED.
**BIRDIE SANDERS**
-Clothing style. His shirt and pants are both illegal, as his pants reach further than his knees and don‘t show a clear line of demarkation.
-Glasses. Again, the glass could seriously injure you, just put the damn glasses away.
-WAY TOO OLD TO FIGHT. If the player isn‘t careful, he might KILL him accidentally.
-Tag Team boxing isn‘t allowed obviously, considering he brings a bird into the ring. Also, since the bird got itself boxing gloves, it‘s no animal cruelty, since it gave consent.
(Yes it‘s a Bumbles McFumbles joke).
6 Infractions In total, Grade: E.
**CHIEF WARRIN‘**
Or how I like to call her: The aran ryan of election year knockout.
-Illegal clothing style, like the rest: the pants gotta reach down to the knees. Plus, no proper line of demarkation. No further, no shorter. The shirt‘s unallowed aswell as the jacket.
-Unnecessary acccessory: The chain she has and the head band with money on it. Aswell as earrings, she‘s gotta take those out aswell before the fight. The belt is a no-go aswell.
-The damn glasses. Just stop already.
-Foreign Object in form of the coffee cup she drinks from.
-THE THIRD WEAPON IN THE RING: A bow. And considering she‘s shooting arrows with boxing gloves on them, she‘s bringing two foreign objects into the ring aswell!
13 Infractions in Total, Grade: READ THE FREAKIN‘ RULES!
**MIKE PIOUS**
-Clothing style. Can‘t wear robes to a fight. In total 3 infractions for no line of demarkation, unproper shirt and pants.
-Magic flying+usage of magic for shields. Great Tiger is dissapointed for no barrage dance.
6 Infractions in total, Grade: E.
**DONALD THUMP.**
-Weight classes are a thing. And thump is WAAAY outside the weight class of the player.
-If he KOs you, he will go on to getting his phone out. Foreign object in the ring AND disrespectful. The disrespect is also illegal obviously.
-In his corner rest, there‘s three women with him. Obviously, only the fighters and the ref can enter the ring.
-It‘s said he won 10 more rounds this night. Obviously, fake, and if he bribed someone to get this, it‘s the most illegal thing I can think off.
-He will do an ear clap in one of his attacks sometimes, which is illegal.
_If you KO him, he looses his boxing gloves. Which means they weren‘t properly secured.
9 Infractions in total (1 for each person brought into the ring extra), Grade: F.
**JUSTIN TURBEAU**
-He tries to hit you with a hockey stick. Illegal weapon.
1 Infraction, Grade: Stop bringing Weapons, please.
**KIM JONG BOOM**
-Can‘t wear two shirts at once, sorry.
-Bringing ROCKETS into the ring. Illegal weapons.
-A…unicorn in the corner…? I don‘t think animals can enter the ring, whether they are real or not.
3 Infractions, Grade: C.
**VLADIMIR BOOTIN.**
-Clothing style. Can‘t wear a Jacket and shirt like that. The pants also reach too low and provide no line of Demarkation.
-He KICKS in a BOXING match. Illegal maneuver.
Not including the bear as it‘s not part of the fight.

A little correction is, however, that Justin Turbeau does sometimes try to hit you with a hockey stick, so, yeah, you know the drill.
@@Tydes8790 Thank you for the correction, though a friend of mine IRL already pointed out another mistake, for Donald Thump. One of his attacks is a ear clap, which is a illegal maneuver.
The Being way too old could also Apply to most of the others besides Cap'N Crenshaw,Kim Jong Boom,and A-Oh!. Especially Uncle Joe.
Edit:I checked the age,and yeah,you're right Birdie Sanders is the oldest fighter,so that's my bad,sorry
@@SableJem You see, that‘s the problem. Most presidents have to be over 50 to even have the qualification to become president, and so, none of them would be able to fight in a boxing match. Not even A-OH would be. So, I limited the age regulation only to 60+, so, sorry birdie sanders, but it has to be a little of targeted bullying.
I was going to do this, but I guess you already got it covered.
Also I think A-Oh’s lipstick would count as face covering.

Thump plays nearly identical to Hippo.
Uncle Joe is more like contender Bear Hugger, and Jab Bush being Glass Joe. A-Oh is more like Disco Kid. The others like Mike and Crenshaw don't really line up with a punch out character.
@@wingedbluj1674 I mean capt Crenshaw is probably pizza pasta from the japanease version of the arcade edition (durning hand to hand and the fact he’s named after a food) mixed with that one clown guy from super punch out (because the fact he uses canons and “throws balls” but that’s stretching it) but Mike I feel like is a god and anime is on my side reference more than any punch out reference.

@@ReleaseTheBogus527 ..It’s a long, hard editing project. You have to take video, sample it, high define it,reorganize it, try to liscense music, record audio, etc. it will take me a longasstime.

When I recorded Jab Bush for the first time I accidentally got a 1:05, but then I noticed a little problem with the recording and had to redo it.

They do it just in case if they took damage and wanted to hide it
When they knock them out and they start spamming punch and if you have taken damage spam the punch and you will heal

Don't you worry, I will!! I have started recording it for a while now, but personal life has been stopping production.

How to perform perfect juggle on cap n crenshaw
You have to time your jabs (upward punches) with him going to the left or right of the screen with his cannon after you hit him the first time.
By "perfect" juggle, the game wants you to start that combo I mentioned above from the start of the fight all the way up until you knock him down for rhe first time without missing.
You just need to pretty much repeat what I did here on 4:07.

-Presidential jab cannot wear hats in the ring
-Uncle joe is not wearing proper boxing attire
-Ted bruz is not wearing proper boxing attire
-Ted bruz cannot use magic in boxing
-Cap’n Crenshaw is not wearing proper boxing attire (again)
-Cap’n Crenshaw can’t use any weapons in boxing (cannon, sword)
-Birdie sanders is not wearing boxing attire (man, nobody knows how to dress)
-Birdie sanders isn’t allowed to have animal teammates
-Chief Warrin’ is not wearing boxing attire (you know the drill)
-Chief Warrin’ is not allowed to have weapons (bow)
-Chief Warrin’ isn’t allowed to have drinks in the ring
-Mike pious is not wearing proper boxing attire
-Mike pious is not allowed to use magic in boxing (again)
-Vladimir Bootin needs an entire different comment
-Kim jong BOOM is not wearing- ok you get it by now
