I once encountered a wierd bug to where for some reason, even after you passed ten and you get back up the game still considers it as a KO.
Not sure how I triggered that though

I'd say you somehow timed it in a way that you got up at the same time or very little before the game ended the fight and the fight ending was prioritized.
