    To get that "high pitched" 909 kick what I suspect they did was use a very short pitch envelope to create a sweep down.
    In the pitch envelope of Simpler, amount +10st, attack 0, decay 75 ms, sustain 0 is a good starting place.
    This way you don't lose low frequencies like if you were to just transpose up.
