  • Florida Keys creators Clay & Stephanie Cowart (‪@LifeByTheBow‬) head offshore on their brand-new Front Runner center console boat with Nick Haddad of Return ‘Em Right, a non-profit conservation organization that uses BP oil spill funds to promote the use of descending devices. Their goal was to demonstrate how to properly release out-of-season deepwater fish to prevent mortality and ensure the best opportunities for future generations of anglers.

Awesome day out on the water with Clay & Steph! They won't all survive release, but the best we can do is be prepared with the right gear and knowledge and give each fish their best shot based on whatever fishing condition we're in. Luckily for us, most of them went in the box this day!

Spending $200k on a boat to catch schoolie dolphin makes no sense to me. What happened it this fishery? We killed it by mismanagement
