Dude literally saw all his colleagues die due to an experiment gone wrong, U.S marines silenced the facility, another cover up team arrived to silence the facility further, didn’t get any sleep, the combine invaded and crumbled all of earths militaries in seven hours, killed 2.1B-4B people, almost died from an ichthosaur, got betrayed from one of his former “colleagues”(Dr. Breen), watched one of his closest friends during the black mesa incident die, teleported out of a combine base but it took a week for that to happen, got stuck underground with hundreds of zombies, discovered Judith to be a traitor, had to kill one of his own colleagues, had to watch and participate in earth’s last stand against the combine, discovered Judith to be a traitor, again.
Mind you, for Gordon this happened in 6 days, without any sleep, in half life one he gets knocked out, but that’s not sleep.
I don’t know anyone who can handle that and still be mentally stable.
Extras: He saw alyx(potentially his other best friend) get stabbed by a strider and die, and was forced to wait for reinforcements to escort alyx and him to safety, met Griggs and sheckley(if I remember his name right), held the lines against hundreds of antlions, Went to the white forest base, watched hopeless rebels get killed by combine soldiers and hunters, took them out alone, finally regrouped with alyx and other rebels, made a desperate attempt to repel the combine from the white forest base and defend the silo, and either alyx went missing, or Eli dies.

Technically Gordon already killed hundreds of his clones.
Because Entropy Zero 1 Ends in Nova Prospekt sometime before the uprising, after Gordon came back, so before Nova Prospekt chapter, Probably during either Highway 17 or Ravenholm. And Gordon only fights Elites in Anticitizen One, Follow Freeman, Our Benefactors and Dark Energy, which is even after the 2 week long teleport.
Combine had alot of time to upload 3650 to Elites, so Gordon killed plenty of Bad Cops Clones

They weren't his clones, just combine elites
Even if they were actually Bad Cop's "clones", the ones that were mass produced lacked Bad Cop's personality, hence why the one we play as and the one we fight against are so much better than the other elites.
