Pair a new remote control with a Samaire ceiling fan in two steps

- If your remote control for your Samaire ceiling fan spoils, purchase a new Samaire remote control as a replacement. Then, pair it with your Samaire ceiling fan in two easy steps:
Step 1: Turn the ceiling fan on and off by flipping the main switch about six to eight times. Do this at a moderate pace, until the ceiling fan unit emits a long beep.
Step 2: Immediately depress the the on/off light button on the remote control and hold it for three to five seconds, until the ceiling fan unit emits a double beep.
Test the remote control to check if the pairing works. Repeat the above steps if the pairing is unsuccessful.

Q&A
-------
Q: From where did you buy your remote control?
A: I bought mine directly from the Samaire distributor for $35. You can find their contact info on their website here: www.samaire.co...
BTW it's a bit leceh to go there. If you're planning to do so, check if they're open before going down.
Q: Will generic remote controls work?
A: I'm not sure as I haven't tested those. If you have tried this, please leave a comment with the results and I'll update the video description with your findings.
Q: Why did you go all the way to the distributor? / Can you purchase Samaire remote controls from dealers? / Is the distributor cheaper?
A: I wasn't sure if generic remote controls work and I wanted a straightforward solution.
Before going to Samaire, I had checked the prices with dealers for the price of Samaire remote controls. Some quoted exorbitant sums, which meant it made more sense to purchase directly from the distributor.
Q: I tried this technique multiple times but it didn't work. Why?
A: There might be a few possibilities which you can explore as part of troubleshooting:
1. Technique needs improvement.
It's really not easy to get the hang of it at first! If so, please try again or perhaps ask someone else to assist you as perhaps they might be able to get the timing right.
2. Remote control not working.
If so, you would need to change the batteries or purchase a new remote control. Please refer to the corresponding Q&A above for more details about purchasing a new Samaire remote control.
3. Fan not working.
If so, you would need to purchase and install a new fan.

No, you are!
Works , how do we select frequency .. I have 3 fans paired with same remote now.
That's great to hear! I believe it's possible to pair multiple fans with one remote control. However, my own preference would be to have one remote control per fan for convenience. For your consideration!
If the speed button is off, can I use this method to reset the speed

Do u have video on how to change the capacitor of the ceiling fan?

Hi bro, I tried this multiple times but it didn't make the long beeping sound. Any reason it wouldn't have worked?
Hi there, I can think of a few possibilities:

how do you this remote control, as I have another one to use in the interim? I need to delink it so it will not affect when I have a new samaire remote control.
I don’t think you need to delink the old one; you can just link the new one and use it. You should contact Samaire directly as they’d be able to provide a more accurate response.
