Friends and New Friends, we’re finally picking up our New RV!
The hottest new RV Floorplan! The Salem 29View from Forest River! We’re real owners, not sponsored or paid for, and we bought this RV because it will hopefully fit our needs better than any other! Join us as we walk you though buying and picking this thing up. We’ll be providing real world experience as we camp in this rig for the foreseeable future!

Friends, welcome to our RV Camping and Adventure channel. Ryan and Rachel here, we are weekend warriors with a mission to highlight RVing in the eastern United States. We are joined by our daughter Sarah, son William, and our two dogs (Trigger and Lilly). Home is in Pennsylvania, and while PA is our favorite State to explore, we’ve found there’s much more to explore! We’ve traded in our Wildwood, and we’ll be camping from now on in our 2024 Salem 29View! We’re pulling it with our 2021 RAM 2500 BigHorn. Real nice camper. I really like those large side windows. I did my first camper camping with my brother last summer in Cook State Forest. I enjoyed it.
We’ll be visiting Cook Forest later this year! I’m really excited to finally get there, it’s always been on my bucket list for PA.
We saw this at the Dulles Expo a few weeks back. It's gorgeous. I love the kitchen layout and views.
The kitchen is pretty sweet, lots of room, shouldn’t be tripping over dogs or kids anymore!

We picked up our 24View in early Oct, can't wait to share our trips as well...
We like the idea of the 24 view, probably would’ve been an ok choice for us, but in the end we decided there wasn’t a problem with 5 more feet. We got ours near the end of October, so only got 1 trip in it for 2023. More to come, but not soon unfortunately.
We are full-time in the 29view, and we've had a few minor issues, but overall, we love it
We could very well be taking ours on the road full time, so it's good to hear that it works under those circumstances. So far we've been very happy with it, can't wait to get out in it again soon!

Thanks for watching! My advice would be to start with something small and affordable. You won’t regret having one though, best way to travel!

We took delivery of ours last week. Like you, our rig really didn't have any issues to repair to speak of. Based on a recommendation I saw in one of the Salem/Wildwood Facebook groups, I did chaulk around the shower as I was told that's prone to leaking while showering. It tows really well, pivots well, some porpoising on bridge gaps but otherwise, I'm quite pleased with this trailer. It's also my first RV. I can tell I'll be learning a lot from your channel!
A little porpoise with our setup as well. I might be able to dial in my hitch a little better going forward. We have not seen any leaks with our shower, but I have seen the posts you speak of. These are a really great floor plan and I wish you many fun adventures in it!
Great seeing you guys very happy with your new addition. Gonna be paying attention to any issues with getting sites compared to your smaller one, as my wife wants to go bigger, out ranking my want to stay the same.
Love hearing you felt the RAM did well and that the length wasn't a big deal...the height difference is an interesting change.
Definitely looks like your WDH was set up well. Always something to tweak, and then if you run with water, how it can change.

I’m excited to get to the Black Moshanon content as well, I feel it’s going to be a fun edit.
Booking sites so far hasn’t been a problem, but we will definitely be talking more about it.
Yeah water definitely adds to the weight and displaces it. Luckily the fresh tank is pert near the axles, so that helps.
I’m very happy that you guys got a new RV. It looks beautiful and I’m sure you will have lots of amazing adventures in it. Too bad about the outdoor kitchen. I don’t know why they would make it like that. It’s just a minor thing. I’d still buy the RV and not dwell on it. You literally had an inch to spare in your garage. Phew. 👍
Someone online suggested flipping the outdoor kitchen door upside down, I might look into that. I’m looking forward to getting it back out on the road, so many great adventures to come!
Congrats guys, I remember how excited you were about this during Minister Creek, looks like an absolute beast it’s gonna be hard to get you out backpacking again after staying in that thing lol. Laughed at the weight watchers comment 😅 Looking forward to some future updates and I’ll see ya on the next one buddy!

It was kind of a shame they had the slide in when I had the opportunity to film it. I regret not filming more when we were loading things into it. Full tour will be out in 4-5 weeks, after our first trip with it.

2024 is a mess right now. I do want to do another livestream, but right now life is too hectic. Best update I could give was in Sunday’s video.
