This was really shocking cuz this was supposed to CL's stage and when "i am the best" by 2NE1, everyone thought CL was promoting 2NE1 as usual cuz all the members do that(play 2ne1 songs) during big events ....so IMAGINE the shock the felt when the fog subsided and 4 girls were standing.....IT WAS WILD!
I even can't stop watching over and over again. 4 of them still slaying showing who's LEGENDARY QUEEN of KPOP

They didn't quit. They got forcefully disbanded cause the company (YG Entertainment) wanted to debut Blackpink and was obviously afraid of overlapping concepts since the main producer for both girl groups is TEDDY PARK. Blackpink even sang songs that were initially written for 2NE1 early on in their career.. But this stage isn't for their sister group... It's 2NE1. Indeed, even in 2022, 2NE1 will never have any overlap groups. This surprise performance at COACHELLA proved it. 2NE1 has a totally different demeanour to them and are more like rebels and tomboys than pretty girls (I meant feminine). True legends. Their stage presence is iconic. People be ugly crying from this. SO WILD. Never in my 30s would I ever imagine seeing them perform live as 4 again... So so so crazy!

It's almost like it was just 5 days ago that I saw them all together, meaning nothing has changed. They are a little older but they are virtually the same fierce wonderful talented girls that I fell in love with 9 years ago. The way CL talked I never thought this moment would happen. Thank you Universe for bringing these icons together again. I could never quit get into any other K-POP group. I tried but 2NE1 are it for me!
