Hey there, I’m just popping in to address the concerns about Apoxie Sculpt, I’ve had a handful of comments with concerns about me not wearing gloves and I just want to slide in to put your minds at ease. So, I don’t show it on the video, because I figured that was boring, but when I mix the Apoxie together I AM wearing gloves. The instructions on the pot do tell you to do this, and I have seen enough artists who do use this to know that it is very important to wear gloves when mixing. However, once it is mixed it is then up to me if I want to wear gloves to sculpt. Now I am 100% not telling anyone to abandon the glove ship once the stuff is mixed. In fact is it strongly advised to continue to wear gloves when sculpting to reduce exposure to the material, I urge anyone who wants to use it to make their decision wisely, and not just because they saw someone on RUclips not wearing gloves. I have made my decision to sculpt without gloves based on a lot of things. I hate gloves and things on my hands, including the material itself. I like to feel the material when I’m using it, but I also constantly wash my hands when using it. I prefer to do that than use gloves, which is my choice. I also have a very low exposure to this stuff because I don’t use it a lot, I still have the same pot of Apoxie I bought in 2017 when I first started this hobby. I also know my skin and I am not prone to skin allergies. HOWEVER, under no circumstances should you base your decision on mine. For that reason I am taking responsibility for not promoting the lack of gloves, so I am not going to show this process again unless I am wearing gloves. She's amazing, I wish I could do this but my hands shake sooo much! I really hope they release an Angie doll for purchase, I love the Beneviento portion of REVIII and I think it's such an unusual part of RE game history. I wish we could have had more of Donna's lore or gotten to revisit the Dimitrescu castle again to learn more about Alcina before her run in with Miranda and found more about her daughters even. Hell, I honestly wish they would have kept in Moreau watching romantic films while eating his cheese. He's such a sad fella!
Hopefully there will be some DLC's that go into more detail, it would be amazing to have more in depth knowledge of all of the Lords. Ah yeah I'm glad it wasn't just me who felt a little sorry for Moreau, he was a v sad fella
I am actually- dumbfounded that you made her an extra set of hands! I swear,,any other artist would’ve either sculpted the blades straight on to her main hands or made removable ones. And the hip pads were a brilliant idea! Def subbing bub
Thank you so, so much for the captions! I'm deaf and use a cochlear implant to hear. My cochlear implant died _right_ in the middle of the video and I was able to watch it to the end :-) I've never done a doll remake before, but... I'm kind of tempted to try one now.
The fact that this is your first video floored me! The editing and transitions were really well done with only a few minor areas that could be fixed. But all in all your presence was amazing and the doll is gorgeous! Congrats on your first video and cannot wait for more!
those hip pads are awesome, they don’t impede on the movement of the doll and still looks full. so cool edit; please also use gloves next time when handling apoxy sculpt. another dollmaker youtuber said that one should, for safety. it would also not have fingerprints on the doll like you get when working with clay

I would love to make a Lady D doll but I don't have any 17" MH dolls and my thrifts stores never have them, guess its time to hunt on ebay again. Also mad props for the sculpting on those hands that is some serious skill there.

Really great job! This is a really beautiful doll. In the future, you might look at applying pastels with paint or make-up brushes to color the body instead of using paint. I think that is how Poppen Atelier / Doll Art Studio does the skin tone for her dolls and I don't think she has an issue with chipping on the bodies. :)
This is by far one of the *best* doll custom versions of Lady D i've seen, your attention to detail and ingenuity (seriously like!! i cannot believe i've never seen another doll customizer think of the hip pads! an' it's always bothered me when people bulk out other parts of the body but the doll ends up with lil chicken legs SDVCX) is just Astounding! The face especially is *Absoulutely* gorgeous and perfectly her vibe, just, i can't give enough praise without repeating myself but you genuinely did amazin! Ngl i'd love to see your take on Heisenberg, if this gorgeous doll is anything to go by you'd absolutely blow it outta the park dvbv! Keep on bein awesome my dude! Awesome video, she looks amazing! I think I'll try painting the dolls with a make up sponge as well to avoid brush strokes, it looks really smooth. Also from what I've seen with other doll customizers, the 17 inch Monster High dolls have much thicker vinyl heads and stronger glue, which is why heating up the head didn't make it squishy and the hair didn't come off as easily as with normal dolls. It's probably best that you didn't take the head off, as the neck peg often breaks in some way on these big dolls. Just thought I'd let you know, this happens with everyone. Keep up the good work!

Awesome video, she looks amazing! I think I'll try painting the dolls with a make up sponge as well to avoid brush strokes, it looks really smooth. Also from what I've seen with other doll customizers, the 17 inch Monster High dolls have much thicker vinyl heads and stronger glue, which is why heating up the head didn't make it squishy and the hair didn't come off as easily as with normal dolls. It's probably best that you didn't take the head off, as the neck peg often breaks in some way on these big dolls. Just thought I'd let you know, this happens with everyone. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! I mean give the sponges a go, the worst thing is that it doesn’t work too well for you or it’s annoying, and I’m sure it can be! But I’m the same, I hate brush strokes so I thought I’d try it 😁 oh yeah I’m so glad the head didn’t come off tbh, because the melted hair inside was an absolute ordeal to get rid of so I’m glad I had the space and the visual to get rid of it!
