@@Nosmoke2024 they run big if you're looking at the US sizing. For example, size 12 US is 47 EU for Alpinestars for whatever reason, whereas for a lot of the other brand 12 US is 46 EU.
I wear US9 And I recently bought alpine Star smk v2 42 But haven’t received yet Since 43 was not available So had to go with 42 Will it fit to me without any trouble
Very good review! I like the SMX 6V2 but thinking about the SMX 6V2 gore text version. I know the gore text dont have the toe slider and the other is gore text. Which is best for daily or occasional riding? Also, does the gore text boot get hot? Is the gore text best for inclement weather or can it be used in 4 seasons? The boot you are reviewing looks good does the gore text boot looks as good? I hope you do something on it?
Thanks for watching and the question. Correct, we'd only recommend the Gore-Tex if you plan on hitting the streets in the wet. As for extra heat - no, the gore-tex will breath great and that of course is the magic of Gore-Tex and you can use year around. If you want that wet weather insurance and wont miss the toe slider then spend the extra $30 and grab the Gore-Tex. If you're a fair weather rider than save the money.
@@SpeedAddictsTV Thanks for responding! I think I like the gore tex if it can be used in the four seasons which it sounds like it can be and just for the insurance of if I got caught in the rain. They look very similar minus the toe slider and I think it is a bit sleeker at the top of the boot. $30.00 is not that much more for the boot. BTW I think I heard that the boot might be slightly more flexible because it does not have the toe slider or something to that effect.
How is it until now? I wanna buy this exact show! How does it held up? You still using it? Any problems? Is the GORE-TEX Version completely waterproof? Thanks for answering 🙏🏼
@heth91 I got the gore text boot and like it. Comfortable and good for daily riding and weather conditions. I ride a sport tourer and it works well. Previously used them with my Road King and they were good on that too.
Great review! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
I love these boots i had one problem they were crazy tight around my calfs ... Wish they made wide calf version
It's definitely tougher to find wider calf boot options.
I wear 45 in dianese and 46 in alpinestars both say 11.5 i believe and thats what i wear in Adidas, puma, vans, everything
Thanks for watching!
So do these boots run true to sz? Big? Small?

You should get shots of these on feet
Will work on a foot model 😉
most important get a size down 9.5" for 10.5" ✅

It's a tough call. You might want to consider exchanging if it doesn't fit right.
What would you recommend, this model or the Dainese Nexus 2 Air?
We would recommend the SMX-6 boots.

Will these work with a wide foot?
Website says so
Should be fine.
pretty late to this but i’ve got a pretty wide foot and they’re super comfortable, and i went dow a half size from my usual
@@TheGreatHotDogConsumer Same boat! 12-12.5 wide, fits comfortably in a regular 11.5!
Thanks for video. Can you wear them under riding jeans? Taper cut or straight cut.
Highly dependent on the jeans and the size of the leg. Anything tapered will not get over the shin protector, otherwise you'll probably be ok.
How does the Velcro hold up?
We've heard no complaints from customers.
@@SpeedAddictsTV thank you! subscribed
Is it real leather?
It is not constructed from real leather.
is the smx s more comfortable?
Both feel about the same.
