The bongo player keeping that beat going for 10 straight minutes, just dripping in sweat by the end. 😂
One of the best songs ever written, IMO. I grew up on this-if you can imagine a kid just getting down, with this sound coming from my dad’s giant Kenwood speakers. That’s what I think of when I hear this song. The Stones are so legendary
Really is such an amazing song!
This is from the (made for TV) Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus from 1968. It wasn't released 'till years later because the Stones felt the others on the show, like The Who, had better performances than they did. Besides The Who, other performances worth seeing are John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and Mitch Mitchell (Hendrix Exp.) performing the Beatles "Yer Blues" (with Yoko doing her thing), also historically interesting is that Tony Iommi is seen miming playing guitar with Jethro Tull before Black Sabbath was formed.
Oh thank you for the info and recommendations! Eric Clapton? That's a throwback for me!
Mick Jagger is from another planet 😂 he is so much fun to watch ❤
OMG, One of the Best Bands of all Time!!! Mick is still doing his thing! Thanks this brought back memories. ✌💞
The guy is just as crazy as ever! Awesome song this!
Can you watch the live performance of Heart singing Stairway to Heaven for an awards ceremony at Kennedy Center. Was so cool! The drummer for this was the son of the original drummer who passed. John Bonham wore a bowler hat and in his honor, his son wore one and so did the choir that sang with Heart!! Very touching and the members of Led Zepplelin loved it!
Ten Years After, live in 1969 or so. The venue was nearly empty, only 3 or 400 folks showed up. The police working security got on stage and " Ok, if y'all keep the weed smoking down you can all come down here in the front and we'll go sit in the back" Man, what a show
San Antonio, TX
This was taken from the Rolling Stones Circus. An insane show that also had the Who and a SUPER BAND comprised of Eric Clapton,Kieth Richards, Jeff Beck, Ginger Baker on drums and John Lennon performing I'm So Tiered, or was it Don't Let Me Down. I forget,I'm 70 and saw the stones in Boston 1969 or 8 i forget again. I remember the auditorium smelled like weed. The show was awesome. The Stones had a 20 foot blow up that was an enormous dick witch once fully blown up,or erect rather, Jagger jumped on it like riding a horse. Ladies loved it and I remember going home with 2 girls that night. Jagger got the ladies in the mood to say the least.
Of course it did! Lol ✌❤
This is my favorite Stones song.
Sympathy!!!
The Stones formed in 1962.
I have seen them live 6 times, BTW. One time with backstage passes.
Greatest Rock & Roll band of ALL Time! And did you notice John Lennon & Yoko Ono in the crowd? I’m sure it was a small event for a select group of special guest..
This is what I grew up listening to
Rolling Stones🔥🔥🔥
Mick is undoubtedly one of the most charismatic rock singer in music history. Before I was born, this period was full of fascinating music. Amazing👍
Next would be Creedence Clearwater Revival? I'm looking forward to it😊
I'm Going Home by Alvin Lee from Woodstock
Dude, this is a clip from the movie The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus. You will definitely want to check out the movie sometime. I recently saw it at the cinema as it was re-release in art-house theaters in Tokyo. John and Yoko and other stars are in the audience.
Believe it or not, an ever BETTER live performance from that concert movie is The Who "A Quick One While I'm Away". They absolute tear it up and Keith Moon goes crazy on the drums, Townsend doing windmills etc. You can find it on RUclips.
I probably get much upvote on this but for a complete change of pace, one of the best live performances I've seen (and I saw Bowie onstage as Ziggy) is 62 yr old Bettye Lavette pouring a lifetime of soul into "Love Reign O'er Me" by The Who at the 2008 Kennedy Center Honors. Townsend and Daltry, Barbra Streisand and the Obamas in the audience eating it up. She brought the house down. I wasn't there, of course but the RUclips video says it all.
Wow I've never seen that concert!!!
Live performances huh. 👏🏽
You seen Heart's "Stairway to Heaven" tribute at Kennedy Center Honors 2012 with Led Zepplin in the audience??
A must, if you are doing live or haven't already!! 👍🏽
This is among my top Stones songs. The beat, Richard's swag on his licks and the lyrics...effing Jagger is brilliant!! ❤
"GIMME SHELTER!!" ❤🔥 I'm certain there is a live version!! 👍🏽
For a even better performance, 10 years after this show. 1978 in Texas " Tumbling 🎲 Dice" on the Some Girls tour. "Some Girls" because they couldn't remember their names.
Loved this! Great reaction Luke! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 Congrats on 180k🎉 #Wafflegang ❤
❤️
One of the best live recordings in my opinion is the who live at the isle of wight. Live at leeds is also as good but the isle of wight version has video! The who live are the definition of energy and almost organized chaos. All the members are playing lead and fighting for their part and focus their energy on the crowd.
The first time I seen the Stones Mick took his shirt off part way through this song and had a devil painted in red on his chest.
They form the group on 1962!!!
OG Stones..with Brian Jones!🤟🤟
I've been following your channel for a while now and absolutely LOVE your reactions! You are so genuine, I love it.
I wonder, will you consider to listen to a punk rock band from Malaysia, called Bunkface? Their music is awesome. Try a song from them called Revolusi, I'm sure it will be worth your while. ^^
Bunk face? Happy to check them out 🤘
The first two live performances that come to mind that've stuck with me are AC/DC's Thunderstruck at River Plate (I think that's the one), and Frank Klepacki & The Tiberian Sons live performance of Hell March from Command & Conquer: Red Alert. It's also been a good while since I last hear this song, Symphony for the Devil's still a great song by these guys!
Its from "Rolling Stones Rock and roll circus"
You should totally do Slipknot - Spit It Out at Download Festival 2009!! You get a world record, a super big crowd, and the best drum display you'll see.
Babymetal just dropped their first song in a couple of years, from their album 'The Other One' that will be released next March. The song is called 'Divine Attack' - ruclips.net/video/_gUW2OnPvHI/видео.html
Still rollin'
I was never much for music as a youngster, until I discovered nu-metal as a teen, and I'm slowly branching out an discovering what I missed now I'm older.
The my favourite live performances I've seen (video, sadly) Stairway to Heaven (I know, I know, real original fella, Stairway to Heaven, so obscure!) because of the sheer level of mastery by the band. You can see that they're delivering an absolute masterpiece and it's not even taxing them. They're nonchalant and it's incredible to see.
The other is Veteran of the Psychic Wars by Blue Oyster Cult. I wasn't a fan of the album version, but the live version is incredible, with a guitar solo that every time astonishes me and makes you feel like his guitar should catch far. I watched the 1981 version

I saw this live at Altamont but they were under lot of pressure. Hells angels and all.santana at Woodstock is a great live performance. I think this concert is at New York from the movie Giver shelter. They formed in 1963.
Wooow! I didn't know you were reacting to best performances in the past!! What a good thing! I had to go after your past videos 🙂 I'm 65yo, used to hear good music and nowadays only BTS is saving my ears hehehe My son (40yo) has an old soul, he's a fan of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc (they were one of my older brothers' idols, not mine -now they are), I was Bee Gees and Santana fan. Earth, Wind and Fire, Credence, Bread, Carpenters, George Benson... as you can see, I'm very ecletic on my taste hehehe From classic music to metal, I just don't like raegeton arghhhh!! I like music, not noise or porn lyrics...
Jagger at his absolute sexiest!
Bowie live is unreal, I saw the Serious Moonlight Tour in '83, check out ANYTHING by him, it will blow your mind
OR Hendrix at Woodstock
Also Adam Lambert honors Cher at the Kennedy Center Honors, re-imagines her song Believe
In the same live tv-show you can see John Lennon having had great rock voice doing a great beatle song and of course Jethro Tull was invited with the great Tony Iommi in the line up: Black Sabbath dit not existed yet. What a time the late sixties was. Succes and have fun.
I would like to see you reaction to Shinedown - 45 live performance from the Kansas City. It's not only great musical performance in general, but also delivers a really deep message.
Love your content, you should react to magi openings and osts I'm sure you'll love them👍
You should hear the live version from Get Yer YaYa's Out. Very basic and the best version I know.
Thanks for your reaction.
Love your joy when reacting! I'm going to echo thoughts of others and strongly recommend Heart performing "Stairway to Heaven" at Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin. 🙂❤
Are we gonna get the rest of the openings for fairy tail?
Try Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood live from El Machombe (or something like that-I don’t know how to spell it) but it is one of the best examples of the blues guitar. It’s one of those songs where your mouth stays open lol
and Life By The Drop for his haunting vocal skills
Pink Floyd "Mother "they kill it I think the 1980 version..?
you should react to sean williams where you left me or if you only knew
Nice.. next react to 22nd op of onepiece
Don't forget Kenny Rogers, LADY!
So you DO listen to classic rock. Have you heard Rush? I'd recommend "Limelight" How about Jethro Tull? I'd recommend almost anything from "Songs from the Wood"
WE NEED FAIRY TAIL PART 2
ジャンピングジャックフラッシュのオリジナルも聞いてくれ!お坊ちゃま💖
The sound of silence by Disturbed preformed on Connan is one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen
Heard Motorheads version??
There is new Arc óf bleach the name is bleach Thousand year Blood wat but it's still REALEASING all the episodes it is still episode 2 :)
The songs mainly written by jagger and Richards..
#HOGARMY
WE NEED ONE PIECE OPENING!!
Jagger and Richards wrote most of their songs, including this one.
Plsss react to new bleach opening 16 thousand year blood war, it's amazing
You absolutely have to see Disturbed sing Sounds of Silence on Conan O’Brian’s show of 03/28/16. It was Conan’s show first video performance to reach 100 million views on his RUclips channel. It was a goosebumps worthy performance. And to think David Draiman was sick that day .
SHOULD I COMMENT? 🤟🔥🤟🔥🤟🔥🤟🔥🤟🔥🤟🔥🤟
Dude it's sympathy, not symphony... Big difference but I can understand the mix-up. Can't believe someone didn't point that out.
Piz react to blackpink born pink album 🙏
just wanted to let you know that you for some reason got referenced in this video ruclips.net/video/GbKL0XXIiig/видео.html
Hey buddy !
I have a new world for you to explore!
Try and react to Arabic Syrian famous singer
She's called racha/ rasha rizk
She's talented as much as Lisa who sung demon slayer
I think rasha will melt your heart with her voice
Mick and Keith wrote most of their songs. If you really want to go down the rabbit hole Santana soul sacrifice WOODSTOCK 1969
Day 101 of asking you, to react to all the openings of the anime “Food wars”
If you look at the audience you'll see a bunch of other stars like John Lennon, etc.
Does anyone believe he doesn’t know who they are.
I would not recommend The Dirty Mac one on this movie, Yoko's inane screeching ruins it. However, the Tal Mahal set is fire.
The Dirty Mac's Yer Blues is seperate from Yoko's song so it's cool.
@@tinyawazzo2678 That's right, it is good. My bad.
If you do again some Japanese/anime stuff i would like to recommend "zutomayo study me".
Sympathy!!
I highly recommend checking out "Avid" by Hiroyuki Sawano, which is also the ending theme of the anime "86". He is the main composer for the Attack on Titan soundtrack.
