If you are checking on the like I just gave, FYI PJ has a new album in the works projected to be released in 2023. No matter what crap is happening in the world, this is something to get excited about!
i accidentally had two browsers open and they were off by about 30 seconds while listening to this; i thought through the whole set she was recording and replaying part of her music so that it was layered and was blown away.
I saw her perform in NYC at Hammerstein Ballroom a couple of days before 9/11, and in the intervening years I have let her fade out of my life, like what happened to a lot of elements of my life prior Listening to this though brought it all back. I am shredded with goosebumps and emotions
@@GIBKEL I am quite obsessed with “Is This Desire” lately after loving her first three albums. Haunted themes, interesting electronics, and intriguing artistic noises. Would love to hear what you think/feel after a few listens.

PJ Harvey is an artist in the true sense of the word, and I've been a big fan right from the beginning. Listening to and watching this beautiful performance totally made my day! Thank you, PJ, for sharing your art with us.
How the hell PJ ended up in our same graceless shallow dimension in the multiverse...that will forever remain beyond science and human comprehension...
This is amazing! Eerie and ghostly even. That she can sound this good by herself is astonishing! What a talent! This is like PJ Harvey Unplugged! And I like Acoustic versions of songs a lot. Fifty years from now this will stand out as a Gem from the past. She can always look back at this and smile because she sounded so good!
This album took me years to get into. While still not my favorite by her it definitely is one of the few albums ever to really dig its way under my skin and stay there for a while after listening to it. Definitely has a mood it sets that’s unlike anything else.
I've not heard her stuff before this was posted, and I keep watching this video over again. The White Chalk album seems to be really good. Was this the only album she made like this?
The opening song with the echo All the instrumental elements here Is immaculate 💗💗💗💗💗 Good lord she hearing her evokes a emotional intensity I can’t put into words 🥺🥺🥺 Love her dearly she just couldn’t even think of such stranger adoring her ever changing various self
You have no idea how much I've wanted to see this in its complete form and in HD. I cannot thank you enough! My favourite PJ's album and I think this performance really captures the eerie essence of the album in my opinion; just her in a room telling these hauntingly beautiful stories. Cheers!
Guitare, chant, piano, harmonica, saxophone, percussion, elle dessine, écrit des poèmes, et le tout avec un incroyable talent. Quelle source d'inspiration ❤
More Reverb! Last time I saw you PJ, was doing this solo White Chalk set in Melbourne. You ended the set with Desperate Kingdom of Love. I love that song so much and it made my realize the the world and life can be beautiful and perfect. I hope you know what you do to us, don’t stop.
I remember hearing this 10+ years ago, during full blown addiction. White Chalk made me yearn for the time before I went down that road. Today, after several years of sobriety, this song gives me a yearning for the years I lost and the people I lost; to go back and do it all differently. Time is such an unforgiving aspect of reality
This is actually from several years ago. Incase you didn't know. The upload date, I've notice in some basement uploads, are recent but the performances were from years before

This is the first time that I’ve really given PJ a listen. Have been vaguely familiar with her music for what seems like the last thirty years but never really committed to giving it a chance. My loss!!! Well, better late........!
What a sublime performance - every strum, each tick of the metronome, each and every breath and that haunting voice. Raw and beautiful on so many levels.
There is just so much emotion packed in each song one can't help but to shed a tear. Beautiful performance it really tugged and woke my heart up. Much love to you Polly Jean Harvey.
I was introduced to PJ Harvey, in the late 90's. Her 4 track Demo's. After hearing the first song, I instantly wanted more. She is a very talented and unique artist. G.O.A.T!!
Thank you!!! I get to see her in Washington DC in less than a week!!! Haven’t seen her live in 20 years. To say I’m excited would be an understatement. ❤❤❤❤
ADORE ❤️ 🎸... THANKS FOR THE AMAZING LIVE PERFORMANCE AND RECORDING... WE ARE ALL IN THIS MESS TOGETHER ON OUR MOTHER EARTH 2020... 🙏😷😪... STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY THROUGH THE COVID19 CRISIS IN ENGLAND... LOVE MARC FROM GERMANY ❤️
I Love this woman. First heard her sing i cant get no satisfaction by the Stones, with Björk in the 90's ,because that year they two were the hottest womens act in the popular culture and it blew me away. For some reason, any time that clip from Brit awards, 1994 was always taken down from youtube but there is one, uploaded four months ago (March 2021) .Mabe those wankers in control of these awards stopped caring or some others with the right mind control anything. But i started seriously listen to Pj Harvey around 1997, when i bought To Bring you my Love, and that still, is in my fav 26 list of all time. It's a one in a million type of girl. She just has something over others, in this field, like Björk.
Hail to the PJ Harvey... This hits to the core of the feelings that break us in a good way... So cleansing for the soul, pure catharsis of the deepest form... Thank you, Polly, for this masterpiece performance...

She´s ethereal. Like the ghost of some cursed 18th century woman named Polly Jean, condemned to sing her sorrows for eternity.
