@@carrerau7138 Goodness, where to begin. Will try not to make it too long. As you said she was just unplayable for the whole week in London, but it's not the norm to play that well for pretty much the entirety of a week. Usually you have ups and downs and changes of momentum throughout the tournament, ideally peaking towards the end of the week. So it's not so much *entire tournaments* that I highlight to students/colleagues to show her greatness, but rather individual matches. I should also preface by saying that, yes there are many matches where she has been pretty much unplayable, but those aren't usually the matches that I analyse the most - when she plays at the highest level of tennis, she ends points very quickly, and I'd rather show videos that teach them how to construct points meticulously. So my style is to recommend some of her tight wins against opponents who have a contrasting playstyle. Those matches force her to rally more patiently, use her phenomenal angles to open up the court, and even come to the net every now and then. I've personally reviewed the USO13 and USO2012 finals and WB2015 QF against Azarenka a nauseating amount of times. Just like Serena Williams, you're the greatest, Tennis Top Shots! Your efforts & labor are not in vain. You are greatly appreciated, so thanks so much for all your vids on THEE legendary GOAT, Serena Williams. God bless Serena and God bless you!
The 2007 Australian Open is definitely to be remembered. She fought so hard that whole time and proved everyone wrong. Simply extraordinary. And the 2010 final against Henin I didnt know she was hampered by so many injuries and to take home singles and doubles titles in a grand slam is difficult enough even if you weren't hampered by injuries. The year of 2013 Serena DOMINATED on Clay. Up to that point, Serena had won 3 clay court titles leading into the French Open. And finally that semi-final against Serena versus Dementieva is a classic match. Whenever she has been down in matches she finds the other gear and comes back to win it all! THANKS FOR SHARING Serena's GOAT moments!
The fact that Serena had multiple rivalries -justine, hingis, Sharapova- with people who have all left and could not maintain shows the depth of her commitment and talent
That French Open win in the second match featured was so beautiful for Serena. What a tournament and you can just see how much the overall win meant to her! Fantastic! One of the greatest tennis players, and greatest competitors of all time!!
The French Open Serena/Kuznetsova match, made Serena pull out all the stops to win, that drop shot that just missed in the 3rd might have meant a defeat, but knowing Serena hard to say. Credit to both women,it was a final level battle! 👍
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing your well-thought-out list of top Serena matches. Three observations that always stand out IMO when I watch these highlights are: 1. how biased the commentators were against Serena who had a tendency to be more vocal in their commentary when she was down in the match but then get quiet when she was winning (especially in the Sharapova matches); 2. thanks to the infamous 2004 QF USO match against Capriati, Hawk-Eye debuted in the spring of 2005 and was a key factor in the outcome of some of Serena’s matches (except in the FO); 3. how folks keep moving the goalposts when measuring Serena’s GOAT status and not fully appreciating her accomplishments - especially the two “Serena Slams”.
The greatest " EVER" ! Coming back from injuries, still the greatest! being a new mother and playing great, still the greatest the thickest of them all, STILL the greatest !!

Dear Tennis Top Shots: Have you posted the one (entire match) where Serena won her 1st Grand Slam title at only 17 yrs. of age against then world #1, Martina Hingis (1999 US Open)? That was a great match also! 2nd set was tight and could've gone either way. I see it here as an honorable mention toward the end. Folks really need to see that entire match. It was a good one, indeed! Kept me on the edge of my seat.
Thanks for making these videos! I personally think the 2005 Australian Semifinal is the no 1 match. It had great drama, one of my absolute fav celebrations from Serena, multiple saved match points, and really set the tone for future matches against sharapova.
I know the match vs Dementieva in Wimbledon 2009 SF is gonna be top 5 ;). This match I watched in tears. The match vs Vika in Indian Wells 2019 1R is amazing too. Probably the best after came back from pregnancy.
That 2007 AO match against Sharapova is her best match period. Better than the FO Mauresmo match, better than the 12 Olympic Final, better than the 2013 Miami SF against Aga (which is an undderrated match imo) Serena was doing EVERYTHING right in the Aussie Final: the net, the serve, the return, the movement, the tactics. At the Olympics, her serve dominated and in Paris everything was clicking much like the Aussie final, she just was a bit more dialed in in Australia. Her tactical mind was on display against Aga. Everything stood out in that Australia match, and anybody across the net would've been shell shocked.

@@MrCreative242 she is figuring her out she has already beaten her before. If you notice AO she only had 3 break points, she is doing something right. Serena had 7
@@foundgrace82 my point exactly Serena will get her
No couldn't and won't be able to.
Just by her loud grunts you can tell the absolute POWER she puts behind her swings. Id be intimidated by that alone. She is SUPER strong. I love Serena. Such an inspiration.
Just like Serena Williams, you're the greatest, Tennis Top Shots! Your efforts & labor are not in vain. You are greatly appreciated, so thanks so much for all your vids on THEE legendary GOAT, Serena Williams. God bless Serena and God bless you!
Serena the way you play is an expression that just are simply saying to me whatever it is don't give up yet.
I like the way they get all comfortable when they win a coupla of sets,,,then Serena comes back to "whooP the socks offa theM!!"🤣🤣😂🥰
The queen |The legend |The greatest

Steroids.
she's too much!!! I can't handle how much I admire her!! simply THE best, THE GOAT
What an awesome video... just simply amazing to watch Serena play. I love when she’s pushed against the wall and FIGHTS back! Just mind blowing.
Yes indeed it's true she is the queen of tennis
Thankyou in your efforts in putting this video together: Serena - ive had the pleasure of watching her live: amazing
The fact that Serena had multiple rivalries -justine, hingis, Sharapova- with people who have all left and could not maintain shows the depth of her commitment and talent
I am a filipino avid fan of Serena ..Thank you for making this greatest match video of her
That French Open win in the second match featured was so beautiful for Serena.
Thats one my top 3 favorite matches of all time! :) So much at stake for that match and Serena's mental fortitude!
@@jwashington4863 It's def in my top group,an amazing match!!
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing your well-thought-out list of top Serena matches. Three observations that always stand out IMO when I watch these highlights are:
1. how biased the commentators were against Serena who had a tendency to be more vocal in their commentary when she was down in the match but then get quiet when she was winning (especially in the Sharapova matches);
2. thanks to the infamous 2004 QF USO match against Capriati, Hawk-Eye debuted in the spring of 2005 and was a key factor in the outcome of some of Serena’s matches (except in the FO);
3. how folks keep moving the goalposts when measuring Serena’s GOAT status and not fully appreciating her accomplishments - especially the two “Serena Slams”.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda 2those that got beat by Queen Rena!!!!!! My soul rejoices with unspeakable Joy!!!!!!
Opening statement @ 0:26 from the commentator is another reason why Serena Williams is the GOAT. Thanks for this, Tennis Top Shots!
The greatest " EVER" !
Coming back from injuries, still the greatest! being a new mother and playing great, still the greatest the thickest of them all, STILL the greatest !!
Thanks for your effort in putting this video together, I enjoyed it very much.
NO DOUBT ONE A WORLD CLASS SUPER TOP RANKING, SUPER EXTRAORDINARY, SUPER POWERFUL, SUPER WINNER STYLISH AND ALL BEAUTIFUL GAME ART WONNER PLAYER IN TENNIS WORLD...................... PEOPLE LIKE AND LOVE HER BEAUTIFUL AND POWERFUL GAME................
Amazing video! Whether she makes it to 25 or not....she will still be THE GOAT!
Serena’s Match against Hantuchova in Wimbledon in 2007 definitely it’s a top 5 match. She competed like the champ she is … she played with cramps
you are the best!! thanks for the excellent videos
thank you for this, i miss watching serena play. so much it hurts to think she is retired..
Serena has all the shots. A complete player.
How invigorating to watch this video. It brought back memories of how great Serena was. We do not see that kind of play anymore.
She was toying with top players. Excellent video. Thank you for sharing it with us.🌹
This video made me feel happy and cured my depression. I felt every game and every point all over again. A job well done putting this together.
*TRULY APPRECIATE THIS VIDEO...WELL-ORGANIZED!*
_"These games were very enjoyable watching so many talented players; We love you Serena!"_ 💕
Thank you for this video much much appreciated
Dear Tennis Top Shots: Have you posted the one (entire match) where Serena won her 1st Grand Slam title at only 17 yrs. of age against then world #1, Martina Hingis (1999 US Open)? That was a great match also! 2nd set was tight and could've gone either way. I see it here as an honorable mention toward the end. Folks really need to see that entire match. It was a good one, indeed! Kept me on the edge of my seat.
My sista Serena Williams bravo G.O.A.T. TENNIS 🎾 FEMALE PLAYER
Thank you so much for your effort in paying homage to the Queen of ALL COURTS- SJW.
Thanks for making these videos! I personally think the 2005 Australian Semifinal is the no 1 match. It had great drama, one of my absolute fav celebrations from Serena, multiple saved match points, and really set the tone for future matches against sharapova.
I be at work thinking I'm tired but this breathing new life into me.
I know the match vs Dementieva in Wimbledon 2009 SF is gonna be top 5 ;). This match I watched in tears. The match vs Vika in Indian Wells 2019 1R is amazing too. Probably the best after came back from pregnancy.
Subscribing!
I'm appreciating the dedication you put into every Serena tribute video!
Thank you! Very much appreciated!
Serena Williams is one of the baddest tennis players ever and will always be( If you din't know you better ask somebody)!!💯🍃🌻🌷
I love ur vids so much. finally a youtube Channel giving the Queen her deserved value 😍😍😍😍😍
Serena remains Absolutely the Greatest
You how people are interviewed & interviewer wants to hear from you word word association.
You ask me TENNIS, I will always & still think of SERENA... NO hesitations!
Really appreciate all the hard work you've put into marking the video!

Serena, the bad gal, love you x
Stupendous super special
Ooooh Wow U constantly consistently keep out doing impovering perfection Ur brilliant videos.. This is definitely a gift Gods given U4 sure!!! ThanQ 4 sharing. A while back during that Australian Open beat down Pova gotten from Serena she knew Queen Rena was a deadly threat Pova admitted much in a post match interview wish I could find it. While all the naysayers were calling Queen Rena everthing but a Child of God Pova knew!!! wasn't surprised when she lost but still very bloodied wounded, hurt but she had her drugs2 give her comfort2 get back on the saddle yet in still history would NEVER repeat her 2004 win..( I think..🤔💥)
No doubt to me she is the greatest. She will be greatly missed. 🎾 will never be the same.
Thank u for the video I enjoyed it, I just missed some of my all time favorite matches believe those matches should be mentioned at least as honorable :)

Very nice!!!thankyou
Yo thank you for all your work you put into these!!
Get that bag too 💰
Love watching these matches she was awesome
Just the highest level of play by any female tennis player.. unbelievable talent. Serena is GOAT ✅🙌🏾
Highest level of tennis was Graf in 1987-1989. 98% win streak, 13 Slam finals in a row and won 9 of 11 Slams played.
Olympics final was awesome but I thought her semi was more impressive as Azarenka dudnt even get to play- just serve and watch pretty much. Great video
This is one of the best channel that i 've ever seen.jood job
I have been watching Serena since her U.S Open debut. No one better.
Again and again Serena proves why she is the GOAT! #facts
She is undisputed the best woman tennis player ever !
Thank you for taking your time to create this my love ❤️
Serena has outlasted so many of these players by still being "active".
So good! Thanks for the video- love these!
Good video 👍🏾
Amazing effort
Really good job Tennis TopShots, you picked great matches 👍👏
Look how serious Serena was in the last match. Playing for the USA in the Olympics. A title she certainly must have felt was her destiny to win! Pure destruction in the final. Serena with her best-ever mental game on display as well as her tennis skills and physical dominance.
Tennis TopShots one of Serena's absolute best matches is her Shahar Pe'er match in the AO quarters 8-6 in the 3rd it was a knock down drag out match Serena fought with everything she had to win, SP served for the match in the 3rd, this match tested SW stamina and ground strokes it's an amazing fight from both Women.
Yes, I really love that match too, I have a brief recap of it in my AO 2007 Serena video: ruclips.net/video/1_m50N8Ifd4/видео.html
Wow. Amazing. Thank you so much
Woooooooooo oooooo hooo!!! Perfect,PerfectPoetic Justice everrrrrrr!!! Henin got alot 2 think about after this...match..Yessssss!!! Love this video !!! ThanQ!!!!😃😆😁🤣😂😍💕💕💕💥🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳💥💕This right here!!!
Wow. Thanks for this. I’ve been in bed with covid and your vids helped pass a lot of time, and very entertaining. I agree, Serena is the GOAT, next would be Monica, Steffy, Navratilova, Hingis, Venus, but not in that order.
So sorry to hear about that.. I wish you a very speedy recovery. Glad that my videos are helping you :)
She’s the queen…love her…only one
As an African American, there’s something sooo moving abt seeing this woman hold that beautiful trophy and flaunt her stuff 5:03😩❤️🔥 she’s incredible
Awesome....thank you...
Thank you for your appreciation of the Queen of tennis Serena Williams the GOAT. Many people will regret why they did not take time to watch live including sponsors/media who did not appreciate her because there gonna be noone like any time soon. Now that the sponsors saw the lost an opportunity with Serena they chasing any person of colour trying to regain some honour now they are with Osaka before it was Sloane Stephens, it is to early to know if Osaka can go the distance or will just other overrated player.
I don't know why the 2005 Aus Open SF between Williams & Sharapova isn't in her top5 matches, I heard her speak about that after the 2015 Aus Open win against Sharapova.....she had lost the last 2 matches going into that 2005 SF to Sharapova and was outplayed for a set and a half and had match points saved she had said that match was huge moment in her career.....
Amazing
