Food for thought. Next year or now, if you fold the tip of the top of the tree over itself will make it bigger and stronger to put your star on. The bottom of the star tappers so doing this actually makes the tip more solid to put your star on.

I didn't have a lot in cash that first year but I had a lot of popcorn and food dye. surprisingly, after eating half the popcorn while decorating, i was able to cover my entire tree - all 2 feet of it🤪 Bless your new home on this very special holiday. Our first apartments and houses were decorated with "Furniture people put to the curb" and we still use much of it. Then again, I'm a geek who has probably spent more on drones and model airplanes than you'll ever spend on decor, but it just cracked me up when I realized we've literally bought just about NOTHING to decorate with.
