Eddie, i think you are perfect for SS. While others may not believe so. You came in when things were up in the air and just took over. you managed to put this monster of album together as well. I think you did more than just inherit the crown, I THINK YOU SAVED IT.
Eddie was the correct replacement. No one else. Some fans didnt quite understood that part.

I've barely listened to SS since Mitch died and this is my first time listening to anything new from them since the Black Crown. All I can say is God damn this guy's is crazy good. I fuck with this track!

Been an SS fan for a long time and one thing I noticed is that when Mitch died all of a sudden all these scence/emo kids started to appear. Before it was about jamming and headbangin and now you just see these depressed 14 yr olds saying that they saved there lives and shit

TheLoneWolf369 Uhh... Those are not gutturals. Gutturals are on the low end of screaming, like LOW LOW end. Look up Cephalotripsy, Engorging the Autopsy, Myocardial Infarction, Rendered Helpless, etc. Those bands will give you a good grasp on what gutturals are.

When I first heard the cut of Eddie doing You Only Live Once, I knew Suicide Silence had picked the right guy moving forward to improve the band as a whole and reach it to new levels. Well, I was fucking right. The You Can't Stop Me album was killer and they're gonna continue to keep this shit going! Can't wait to see the future of this band.

I would choose Eddie any day over Mitch for vocals. Once he left ASP and joined SS, it was a perfect combo. The brutality combined with both the highs and lows of Eddie is just devastating. ESPECIALLY THAT SQUEAL IN 1:57. That pitch is almost supernatural.

Anyway, you never know what direction mitch would go, and actually his favorite all time band was Deftones apparently so... he might have done the same or maybe Eddie is living Mitch's dream (yes I'm making up a bullshit excuse, but hey, it could be true).

i didnt like the change at first but now that i have found this song im happy its Eddie who took the spot for Mitch, "Hand on my shoulder, your presence lives on" that part hits me hard every time. whether you love or hate eddie him helping keep SS alive i respect. RIP Mitch and may Eddie carry his legacy till the end of time.

Não entendo porque dizem que o Mitch era melhor e alguns deixaram de "gostar" da banda devido à morte dele.
Os verdadeiros fãs continuam sempre junto com a banda independentemente do que aconteça! E é preciso conformar-nos que o Mitch já não está entre nós, e que o Eddie atualmente está a fazer um excelente trabalho nos SS.

As a vocalist myself, I can kinda see how someone would need to step into the shoes of someone else. The band existed before he was apart of it and psychologically it could be tough to step into that. While writing, it could be something that has been troubling him and / or the band and he has come to the realization that he must inherit this crown.
I feel like, even though Eddie has his highs top notch, his lows just aren't as impressive as Mitch's. Don't get me wrong. He's a great vocalist, just his lows could be better.
Screams mimic the tonalities in someones voice, just like when you sing. Vocalists don't control how their lows sound beyond projection and harshness.

Yeah Mitch was a mediocre vocalist at best. Not saying I didn't enjoy him because believe me I love all of SS. But for lows, he often cupped the mic on stage and they still sounded weak live. If you listen to their recordings too you'll notice they had to layer mitch in 2 or 3 times on lows to make it sound powerful.
Agreed i think there both good in different sections mitch was beast at lows eddie is beast at highs but both of them were awesome -rip mitch-
I saw suicide silence live about a week ago and I just wanna say that before the album and when the newest albu, came out, I wasn't impressed by eddies lows, but the album did no justice to eddie in my opinion because live eddie was full form amazing on stage and even his lows dominated anythi that can be heard on this album so I think personally eddie sounds alot better live than on this album :)
