If non construction people only knew what it takes to create homes, working environments, infrastructure and to work in the mud, wet, heat, lift heavy items, working to awkward body angles, just maybe they would appreciate the punishment the body takes. Charlie laying that concrete block with a little “grunt” spoke volumes.
Hi Charlie. Great to see regular uploads again!! Love watching your videos buy I do have to admit I miss watching your longer videos. Loved the 1 hour long videos you used to upload but appreciate this has not been the most smoothest of builds for a number of reasons. Keep up the great work. 👍
you've come such a long way since i first subscribed to your channel. Keep fighting the good fight. Really appriciate the blue printing side of your videos. Very thorough
Good morning here sitting in the morning 🌄 sun 🌞 drinking my morning coffee ☕️ and ⛱️ now have to go walk on the beach ⛱️ 😀 don't like look at the weather you got right now don't miss all that rain and cold weather 😀 ok thanks again for your video 👍
Another good video Charlie that is good off you working out how many blocks the labour has to put out i wish I had a good bloke like you working it out like that when I was a hod carrier
No brainer with table saw to cut them in they wet conditions. If we’re solid bricks would catch 15mm no probs as get 5mm or so in 2 course block then catch with brick if dry. But this way guess will get paid as full block course 2 courses of commons would lose out on the price yeah the Charlie boy knows what he’s doing lol proper job proper kit for the job top man.
Hi guys, thanks for a longer video and if you can keep at this that will be great if not thats fine as I'll still watch,so when is the site supposed to be finished by you guys then?cheers
A bit more interesting now than just house bumping. Bet your liking it more. Keeps the brain working when you got to think more and just nice to do different work than square houses all the time.
Is it the material or the skill level that prohibits spreading for more than one brick or block at a time. Even when building a lead one at a time wow.
Charlie: Okay Amy when we use the walkie-talkies, after we finish a sentence we must say over, over. Amy: Okay, tea up. Charlie: Tea up what over Amy: We're going on a bloody tea break. Charlie: We're going on a what I didn't copy that over Amy: Omg I don't want to use the walkies when the tea break is over. Charlie: When the tea break is what over Amy: When the tea break is over. Charlie: When it's what over
if you wanna get rid of that light flikering that happens at the start of the vid - turn your shutter speed down a bit 25 or 50 will probly work for you
Definitely preferred the older longer videos, not that I'm not enjoying these ones there just too short get more head cam footage back in and yous actually working, can't bit abit of the good old site banter
Are you Guna do it how ya use to? Why did ya change it if ya don't mind me askin? Was it the editing time? I'm thinking about doin some myself but imagine it would take ages to get started as I know nothing at all about how to edit and upload to RUclips,
Mucks too dry, same compo no excuses keep it creamy for everything, don't give me that bollox need it stiffer on the blues shite, ... 41yrs in the trade keep it creamy...
I'd like to see the engineers report on retaining that pile of shite around the site, looks to me like potential shit storm in the not to distant future 🤔 👍🧱

Question ? What brand are your boots ?
Need longer videos
Is it the material or the skill level that prohibits spreading for more than one brick or block at a time. Even when building a lead one at a time wow.
probably my skill levl. need more practise
Hi Charlie, how comes that muck looks slightly ‘drier’ than normal? Is it something to do with the brick?
Concrete blocks ‘swim’ on wet muck as they don’t soak up the moisture like bricks and celcon blocks. Engineering bricks also don’t soak up moisture.
I'm new subscriber👍👍
nice of you to join 👊🏼
Book everything in don't let those Banks win Boy 🤣👊🏻
Why you no start with a 6inch on flat and catch both walls
Perfect muck for them Blues and good use of the Fitzys.
horrible to use.. but always better for them bricks
@@CharlieCollison 👍
What trowel is that
Really enjoying this little series, keep it up if you can! 👍
ill try my best 😊

Reminds me of this.... ruclips.net/video/2OBZf0QdKdE/видео.html 🤣
😂👍🏻nice one
Longer is always better, just ask Amy...
Longer videos, and less music dubbed over the footage. More raw the better..
Good to see a pro at work
I get your method but get a good hod and it will save a helluva lot of time
Short videos with you is to short
20 minutes is perfect 👍🏼
What I meant was you could use 2 courses of bricks then bump the 15 mm in the blocks and bricks
floor would be low. they have a site engineer come in to check everything
What make are your walky talky please Charley
Thought I’d seen it all but I just watched Charlie collision spray paint directly into a puddle 5:34
Great video Charlie. I must admit I like the longer videos as I like watching you guys work. Keep it up chaps.

@@martin2466 A little bit of satire never hurt anyone!

needs to be like that to build enginering corners 👍🏻
